VN Nails

I have been to VN nails three times and the service was always good. Today I had an acrylic nail fill and the one and only male nail technician at the salon did my service.I didn't think anything of this, after all he had done my nails in the past and I even thought he was a pretty nice guy. Once I sat down at the manicure table he began doing all the routine aspects of a fill which include cleaning under the nails. Keep in mind that I do a lot of housework and my nails-particularly if they are on the long side-can get dirty which is why I keep them short. He immediately and repeatedly started asking if I washed my hands after going to the bathroom-loudly. He said that my nails had and quot;s***and quot; underneath them. He said this at least 5-10 times loud enough so that everyone in the salon within 10 feet could hear him. He said there was some Wal-Mart product I could buy to clean my nails.
I calmly repeated that I did not have and quot;s***and quot; underneath my nails, only that I do a lot with my hands. I think I even mentioned that I washed my face and taken a shower only a couple hours before my nail fill. I told him that I keep acrylic nails short so that I can more easily keep them clean and hygenic. He then told me that he could shorten my nails as much as I needed at any time during the fill service. Unfortunately, his idea of and quot;shorteningand quot; the nails was barely taking off anything. Toward the end of the fill I repeated that I needed more taken off the ends of the tips. He then proceeded to file/drill them down to the length I wanted while complaining the entire time that I was wasting his time and had I told him to shorten my nails earlier he would have done it at the beginning of the service and would not have had to shorten all ten of them at the end which meant refiling them-which of course wastes more of his time. He complained they had been busy and he was really tired. All the while I tried to apologize and assured him this was the VERY LAST time today he would have to shorten my nails.
After he told me to wash my hands I broke down and could barely contain my tears. I have been getting acrylic nails/nail fills for almost 10 years at many salons and have never NEVER been treated this way or anything close to it. The female technicians at this salon are pleasant and professional. The salon itself is attractive, inviting, and clean. Many male nail technicians have done my nail fills. Some are excellent, others don't care as much. However, nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had today.

Excellent service! And Fast!!

We were seated as soon as the next costumer was done. The pedicurist were very nice and quiet however if you started a conversation with them they were enjoyable to talk to. The business is run by Vietnamess so I found it interesting to chat with them about their country. Our pedicure was done in a nice relaxing manor. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable. They accommodation three different styes that we wanted and did a very professional job. We will go be to VN Nails again.

Arrived and immediately placed in chair for pedicure. Salon professional had difficulty understanding and speaking English. Things felt very rushed, no attention to detail. The entire pedicure lasted 15 min. Nail painting quality was poor, massage was short, exfoliation short, nail trimming and filing not done.
