Hibu

The design of the website Hibu created was pretty standard and I would assume it was a template that they also use for other clients. It had all of the functionality that was needed but they built a new website with a new URL when instead of using my business' existing web address. They refused to update the old web address with the new website they created and essentially held the new website hostage on their server because they charge a monthly fee for hosting that they didn't want to lose. I have absolutely no need for two websites and they did more harm to my branding by creating a rival website with no connections to the old one. 
In essence, their business model is to get you on the hook for a website design that they will update for you so that you can't back out of their services without losing everything they created. Even though it is paid work that most designers will hand over they will not agree to those terms. Do not hire Hibu unless you are fine with being locked into their services (and fees) forever. 
They offer a 100% refund if you are not satisfied, which I was denied because the new site, on the wrong URL, was already live. I would highly recommend finding a different design company that costs less and is much more flexible.
