I entrust all my home's HVAC service needs to Colony. From annual furnace/AC maintenance checks to the new furnace and AC for my home, I have found Colony to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Their service and clean-up is impeccable, and I believe them to be one of the best in the area. I know that everything will be done to code and completed well by their trained staff. I highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC needs.

The technician came to our house and serviced both units. We had both unite serviced be cause we had never had the systems checked before. We received an overview of both systems as well as some tips on preventative maintenance.

I was very pleased they were able to come the next day to check on an air-conditioning unit that was not cooling at my very elderly mother's home. He was clean, professional, fixed the problem, and was able to explain the problem to our satisfaction. He also was able to warn us about possible future problems due to the age of this very old unit.

I was nervous spending so much money and then depending on a company that I hadn't any experience with to install it all properly but ended up being very pleased and satisfied with all aspects of their work. I chose them because of their reasonable price and that I felt comfortable and trusting of my contact person in sales. The installers were punctional, professional, and friendly. By the way they handled themselves, I felt confident of the quality of their work and trusted them. It has been almost a year since then and I've had no problems at all. They were patient in explaining the operations to me and cleaned up very well after the work was done. They were able to install everything in one day and although there were several men here throughout the day, they were not a bit disruptive to me and seemed to really enjoy their job and working with each other. I was really impressed with this company and have referred them to others.

When I called to get a quote and schedule the service, the person with whom I spoke was very friendly, professional and helpful. I was able to schedule the service to be performed within two business days. The service technician called 45 minutes prior to his arrival, and he arrived exactly when planned. He started by covering his shoes prior to entering the house. He then took us to the furnace and explained a little bit about our particular furnace. His work was thorough, and he took the time afterward to explain everything he had done and what he had found. The final bill was exactly as quoted. The entire experience was very positive.

Not only was the repairman on time and courteous, he did the work in record time AND replaced the batteries in our thermostat - which we did not even know had to be done!! He also saved us time and money by telling us to wait on having our air conditioning looked at until spring. Great guy, good company, and a very reasonable price for the labor charges.

We called mid-morning and the receptionist said they would send someone out between Noon and 3 pm. The repairman called about 2:30 and said he'd be here in 15 minutes and he was here around 2:45. He looked at the furnace right away, and asked some questions about the furnace. He checked the furnace -- was it getting power, was it electrical, etc. -- and determined it was the pilot light ignition switch. He fixed it right away and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. He was efficient and honest.

In May we received 3 estimates for replacing our 20-yr old furnace and a/c. The companies were all comparable on price. The difference was in Colony's approach to meeting our heating and cooling needs. Our floor plan is an "L-Foyer", a split level with the garage out to the side. They recommended we replace our 2 ton air conditioner with a 2.5 ton unit for more efficient cooling. We couldn't have been happier this summer! Our electric bill has gone down year-over-year and the basement is no longer noticeably different than the main floor. The installation was smooth although there could have been better attention to detail in a couple of areas. For example, the new thermostat not put in the same location as the old thermostat. Unknown to us, the previous homeowners had painted around the old thermostat. There is now a 5x7 rectangle on our wall that is a different color. The installer should have called this to our attention and explained why the new one could not be installed in the same location. Colony billed us and handled all of the rebate paperwork. Overall, we are very satisfied.
