They were very good, very professional, they just did a fine job. the price wasn't extreme it was a fair and reasonable price.

Brown plumbing was quick to return my call for a quote, fit us in for a hot water heater install, the tech Jeff was on time, courteous and did a great job without wasting any time. No sales gimmicks, no pushing. Came in, did the job and charged a fair price. Least stressful plumbing experience I've had, highly recommend.

It was a difficult installation or I would have done it myself. The right side of the sink is positioned over the dishwasher and the left side has a garbage disposer so there is very little room to work. Dave was able to get the job done in slightly less than an hour so the cost was lower than I expected, and I'm very happy with the quality of the work.

I was very happy with the service. Their price was quite reasonable and they did a great job. I hired them to move a hard water line that was supplying our kitchen sink cold water and refrigerator water line to softened water. No more calcium deposits on everything. I also had them reroute the water lines to connect to the new water softener that I bought.

Jeff did a great job! He quickly identified the problem causing low flowing cold water and low flow in the hose. He also replaced a water filter. I will definitely call Brown the next time I need plumbing work done. Much better than two other companies I have used in the past.

Our water heater was starting to leak, but was listed under warranty. There was a sticker on the tank for Brown's; I'd never heard of them. I emailed their website (thursday pm), didn't receive a response. I did follow up with a call (Friday) at 9am, to which I left a message. I got a call back about 30 minutes later. the lady took the model number and serial number of the water heater to check the warranty status. She confirmed warranty and asked the urgency, with the weekend and basement utility room flooding, she said she'd have someone out there that morning and would have them call before they arrived. I received a call around 1030 that the gentleman was on his way. He arrived shortly after his estimated arrival time and got straight to work. Everything went great. The only note that i had was I didn't know another gentleman would be arriving and assisting with the job, although I anticipated another person would be required. Both guys were very friendly and we worked around a drain issue to get the water heater replaced and back in working order. They did call the office to find out if the person who does the drain clearing would have time to come out to help, but he was booked up. Since we found a work around, this wasn't urgent. I called the office to setup a time to have them clear the line, however the lady who answered the phone informed me, they don't do main lines, just floor, kitchen or bathroom lines. She did have a recommendation for who to contact though (Kenway Sewer and Drain).

Best service ever.  Pricing was incredibly fair.  Everything was more than one would expect.

He needed to simply snake the pipes. However, the way the access was installed, he couldn't get the snake in. He replaced the clean out access and quickly finished the job. Polite, professional, tidy and at a reasonable price! I'll definitely call them again!

They arrived on time and were very professional and got the job done in about an hour. When they were fixing the pipe they noticed the basement drain wasn't draining very fast and fixed that as well, free of charge. Before he left he also gave me some advice on where the best spot would be for a wet bar I want to install.

I liked the guy who came. He was quick and had the job done within 25 minutes. I did mention Angie's list when I called but don't know if I got the $10 off. It was total $139 which surprised me. $90 an hour. Maybe it was a minimum of one hour. It just seemed a little high for the short amount of time he was there. I would hire again. I compared prices and some had a hourly fee then a fee for every 15 minutes after....

Service was on time, efficient, and courteous. My wife was impressed.

Great experience all around.  Person I spoke with at the office was very pleasant and helpful and called back to schedule our appointment within an hour.  Estimate was provided over the phone based on the description & photos I had provided, and I was able to approve the cost before I even scheduled the appt.  
Plumber was very prompt, called before coming over, and got the problem fixed in less time than the original estimate.  Any plumber I have worked with previously would have charged at least 2x what Brown charged, and they wouldn't have been as courteous, professional, or easy to work with.
I will be using Brown Plumbing exclusively going forward.

I contacted a handful of plumbers to get estimates on roughing in my basement plumbing.  In the end, I am glad I went with Brown.  They have been very responsive whenever I called them, and they have done good work.  Jon came out right away and estimated the cost of the project.  He also made some good suggestions about how to setup the bathroom plumbing which I greatly appreciated.  He was able to schedule the work quickly, and showed up on time for the appointments.  He showed up with his guy on the scheduled day and both of them were courteous and took extra care to be clean and professional.  The guy who did the work (which took about a day and a half) was very professional, and even tried to be as quiet as possible when my baby took her nap.  The bill was exactly as estimated, and I would work with Brown anytime I have a plumbing issue.  I have consulted Jon since for other projects, and I have found him to be very honest and upfront.  I also recommended Brown to my mother-in-law, and they had a great experience as well.

Plumber was a little late, but he was able to get the job done in less than an hour.  Price was great, especially when I called a competitor, and they quoted me 3 times as much.  He was quick, very professional, and price was awesome.  I told him I only had 2 hours for him to work, and he quickly got to work, and got it done.  He cleaned up his mess, and was on his way.  Will definitely use this company again.

The serviceman had originally come over to give me an estimate and looked at the job and decided that he had enough time to just do it now. The entire process went as smooth as silk. When he went on the roof to look at the vent stack he discovered that the flashing was not good any longer and made a temporary fix so the rain water wouldn't get into the attic. I can do that part of the repair myself.

I would definitely call Brown Plumbing again if I need any plumbing work done in the future.

The plumber did a nice job. He was punctual and efficient. Looks like I had to pay for a special tool - a core drill (the plumbing went through the concrete foundation wall).    

Prompt, clean.  Knowledgeable about water pressure issues at our home.  Not one to over-sell.  Felt we could trust them.

I found the vendor on Angie's List. The plumber was polite, clean, timely, and professional. The cost was reasonable.

They are very good. I will continue to use them and I continue to thank them. I've had some really bad experiences with plumbers and these guys are just very good at what they do. They are an excellent, local plumber.
