Both roofing jobs were excellent as far as materials, workmanship and the company's professionalism. Recently our roof began leaking because of shingles that were loosened by a company which did pest control. Green Valley came within one day when we called them and fixed the roof at no charge to us. We have recommended this company to several friends. We highly recommend Green Valley Roofing.

I First made a phone call on 21 May 2013 and left a message for what kind of work I needed done on my roof it is a metal roof on my barn I need some panel's replaced and then covered with a sealer. They never returned my phone call. I called them again on 23 May so I could get them to give me the estimate on the work I need done, I was told we don't do that kind of work so that is why we did not return your phone call. I think if you don't do this kind of work at least you should still return the phone call to let the customer know.

This company has been around a long time, is known for being trustwothy, and was recomended by the local building inspector. That is the main reason we chose them. They did a good job on our new roof and also did gutter guards, which seem to be a solid product. My husband has been a union laboror for 20 myears so we're very familiar with what a good work crew is. We really liked the crew. They were courtyous, seemed knoledgeable and did a great cleanup. We would recomend this company to anyone who asks. The estimator, Don was nice guy, really knew his stuff, and he seemed to care a lot about doing good work and not just selling us.They were a little higher priced out of the 2 bids we got, but we think it was worth it.

The workers were on time, courteous, cleaned up any messes did an excellent job in a short time worked hard. I was completely satisfied. The foreman & salesman came by daily to make sure everything was going smoothly and were readily available to me.

After receiving several bids, we went with Green Valley because they had a reasonable bid, and all of their references, and the feedback on Angie's List was so positive. Jason came out as the salesman, and measured and gave us the bid. He then told us that his guys would be out the following week (beginning of June) to start. When they did not show up, we called and were told it would be the next week. This went on several times, until we could no longer get in contact with Jason. We finally called the company (no one ever called us to check on things), and they told us someone would be out to start. We finally had a start date the last full week of July. The guys who came seemed nice, but did not treat our property well, as tarps were not used on all sides, siding was damaged, as well as other things attached to the outside of the home (temperature gauges, etc.). Also, much of our fascia was damaged during the tear-off, and nothing was fixed (including some EXPOSED WOOD that they left) until we said something. They would also show up at random times without telling us they were coming. During the 3+month ordeal of just getting new shingles, any time we had a problem and brought it up, we were made to feel unimportant to the company, and a bother. We just wanted the job done right, since we were spending that much money. There is more we could say, but suffice it to say that they did not treat us well, nor did they seem to care much about damage to our property. They wanted to get away with doing as little as possible, and even with all the problems we had, no manager or owner ever contacted us. They lost other business by our neighbors and family members because of the way we were treated. NEVER AGAIN!

I used an alternate roofing company that also quoted a high quality job but at a 15% lower price.

Once again Green Valley has done outstanding work on my home. I'm so very happy I found this great company here on Angie's List! Today Rick from Green Valley was here first thing in the morning to redo the siding on the gables on the front of my house. He had done a beautiful job this summer for me installing new wrap around my windows. I was happy to see that he would be the worker for this job too. Rick and his coworker were organized, very professional and had the job finished in no time at all. Before they left they made sure the work area was nicely cleaned up. Job done to perfection! Also Don, the supervisor, was here this morning before the work started. He wanted to make sure we were on the same page before the job started. He came back shortly after the job was finished to make sure I was 100% happy with the work. I can't say enough about Don. It is very clear to see that he cares about the work being done and that customer satisfaction is a top priority. I am so pleased with the quality of work this company provided. It is also a great comfort to know I can count on them for future work. I feel confident that if ever there was storm damage to my roof while I was out of town, I could call them and trust that they would repair my roof ASAP. Peace of mind is priceless! Lastly, I will be having this company back to replace the rest of the gable siding at a later date. Green Valley is a top notch company!

The salesman came out measured the roof, explained a little about the company and showed us his bid. He was not high pressure or pushy. He explained financing options and went on his way.

The roofing crew was AMAZING. They were extremely efficient, professional, informative and CLEAN!!! This crew of 9, lead by Craig, made my first roofing experience stress-less. Every person was on task all the time... Sounds like a-lot of people, but I was not aware of the amount of roofers on my home because they were all busy working. It took 1 day and part of another morning to complete the entire roof, cleanup, etc. The clean-up- not one shrub, flower damaged. Found NO nails around dumpster and when dumpster was removed there was only 7 nails under it to pick up.

These guys are fantastic! The crew arrived and the work started immediately. There are so many things I was amazed and impressed about....the crew leader, Craig, told me how the job would be done and answered any questions I had at the start and during the job...the crew worked so very hard, it was clear to see that they took pride in their work..they were very polite and friendly, no swearing, no blasting radio, no standing around and they all well with each other. The clean up work was done as the job was being done and afterwards. I was worried about my hostas and hydrangeas that were in bloom. They covered them with tarps and made sure the old shingles didn't pile up on top of the plants. After they removed the tarps they made sure to pick up any small bits and pieces that got into the landscaping rocks. Also they had a magnetic tool on wheels that they rolled around to pick up nails. That was used several times as the job went on and they went a lot further out into the yard than any nail could have gotten. In every aspect of the job, the crew members were perfectionists...whether it was removing shingle, installing new shingles, measuring for the new roof vents, adding the trim or cleaning up the work area. I could not have asked for a nicer, more professional group of young men. Don was the project manager and he came by to check on things 3 or 4 times over the day and a half time it took to get the job done. After checking the work site, he always made sure to check in with me to see if I had any questions or problems with how things were going. Each time I only had great things to say about the crew. I want to mention the crew members names because each of them worked so hard. Aside from Craig and Donny there was Steve, Dustin, Chris H., Chris I., R.J., Shawn, Keith and Robert. I apologize if I forgot anyone. One of the crew said they love to see good reviews on Angie's List.....so guys if you are reading this I say " Bravo! Job well done"! If you go with Green Valley for your roofing project, and you would be foolish not to, ask for Craig's crew...you won't be disappointed!When the job was complete the gutters were installed by a subcontractor...ABC Complete Gutters. This work was done in no time at all and looks wonderful! I showed Steve a problem area with the old gutters. He explained what was causing the issue and how he would correct the problem. Steve and Brandon worked well together, checked over the complete job when finished and cleaned up all of the little scraps of metal. Also I noticed the gutters are hung at the correct pitch so the rain water flows properly...something my old gutters were lacking due to age. The gutters and downspouts look very nice and and add the perfect finishing touch to my beautiful roof! I forgot to mentioned Jason, the salesman. He too was very polite and answered any questions I had. Best of all he was not one of those aggressive salesman. He went through the information, showed me the color selection of Owens Corning shingles and explained financing offers that were available if needed. He made sure I understood the estimate That was it...no pressure.

Rick arrived and removed the old aluminum siding. Had to repair 1 window because of termite damage. while repairing wood inside window the interior wall of our dinning room was damaged. rick patched the wall and you could not tell anything had happened. In total they installed 17 double hung windows. Each window had to b framed. The siding was installed and looks gread Rick and his crew did a wonderful job and completed the windows and siding on schedule. The gutters and downspouts were installed 3 days later and I was very pleased with the workmanship and the look of my new gutters and downspouts.

It was a very personalized service. It appeared to be the owner who dealt with preliminary stuff for the bid. He was prompt. My husband called him a couple of times for stuff that was minor. They found a couple of issues that need to be corrected. We thought it was well done and prompt. They cleaned up very well. We would use them again. We already recommended them to someone.

Everything went just fine. No broken promises. Just did the work. People were very pleasant and respectiful. Checked on work when it was done. Actually helped me decide what was the better way to do my job. I just wanted a layover of roofing but they pointed out the pros and cons and let me decide. I believe they advised me correctly.

Wouldn't hire them to change a light bulb if its going to take them a week to call me back.

Salesman was professional. Represented company well. Estimate was comparable to other estimates we received.

We used them through our condo association. They contracted with them to replace all the roofs. They did an excellent job, I have a good opinion about them. I liked that they took care of everything right away, they did a complete job and took care of a roof leak in our condo, too. We have good piece of mind now on that. It was a group effort. I would tell others they are very complete if you have any complaints or problems they will take care of those immediately.

It went great. I couldn't be more pleased and relieved that the problem was solved. Don is very professional and a very pleasant person. The price can't be beat.

I would highly recommend them to friends and family members. They had a minor problem after they completed, the roof leaked around the chimney. But they were very responsive, and came right out and took care of it as soon as I called them. It was amazing how good their service was. Their price is excellent. They are putting siding and windows in my house this week.

They started the job within the time frame that it was quoted. It took a little longer than they initially thought that it would. However, I put that down to the care they took with some very difficult fitting work where the siding met some stone. I was very pleased with how well they were able to match the siding and the rock around the front door. I was not asked for any payment (including deposit) until the job was completed to my satisfaction.

Salesman came, gave estimate and sales pitch. He talked too much, a little pushy, but gave good information. Roofers did an excellent job, very professional, explained what they were doing in detail, cleaned up very well. Different contractor did the gutters and did a good professional job. We were happy with the work and would use them again for future jobs. Price compared similar to our other bids.

An advance man arrived shortly after our initial call was made. He carefully assessed the existing roof and then presented options as well as an estimate for the work that was required. The selection of material grade and color choices were ours but he did make recommendations. The work team arrived as scheduled with materials, building permit, yard sign and all that was required for the job. The team was very polite, worked diligently, seemed proud of their work and eager to share information on what they were doing as well as their progress. The clean-up was exceptional! The roof looks great-it hasn't rained but we don't expect any issues with leaks or other problems. Based on our satisfaction Green Valley Roofing gets an A plus recommendation.

This is an A+ company from start to finish. The roofing was inspected and a written bid done on same appointment with complete review of what would be done with photos of current roofing shown. The estimator had roofing samples with him for easy selection. The company was willing to provide references of previous customers and addresses for review. The installation of new roofing was explained in detail with an approximate start time and length of time to complete the job. The company started the job on time and completed the job on time. At all times, all questions were immediately answered. The workmanship is very good. The crew, estimator, and owner were courteous and professional. Everything was done as detailed in the bid. Having this company was a very good experience.
