Bounty Music is (was?) a great store for musicians on Maui without mail ordering. I had come to the shop to see if they could do repairs on my studio headphones or if they had replacements/new studio headphones for sale. I came in and looked around. No one greeted me and no one asked if I needed help. Everyone seemed to be busy with something else other than helping the customers on the floor (at the time there were three). after 10 minutes I went to the counter and asked for help. Paul I believe was his name. The gentleman said, and quot;I'll be with you in a minute. My wife is on the phone.and quot; After another 10 minute I asked the girl at the counter to help me. She said, and quot;sorry, Paul will help you soon.and quot; With that I just left. Feeling my time was wasted. I felt indifference before and that was what was dealt to me at Bounty Music. It's too bad. They gave me great service before that day. With these new people I think I'll be doing mail order more often.
[Update]: The owner and quot;Pauland quot; claims to have tried to contact me. As you know Angie's list verifies email and text to phone number to verify those who subscribes. I am very dubious to Paul's claim as and quot;tried to contactand quot;. As for the email to Paul I apologize for using a and quot;profanityand quot;. As I needed it as a replacement for one that got stolen it would have been great to have purchased one that day for a program at The Grand Wailea I was doing. It was stressful enough to go looking for one on Maui. It's more frustrating to have been treated the way I was at Bounty Music. I may give and quot;Pauland quot; another chance in the future but I have found much more inexpensive alternatives with free shipping on the internet.

"This is Paul the owner of Bounty Music. I was shocked to read the negative review that the Customer published on Angie's List. We have been in business on Maui since 1979. A business does not continue on an Island for this amount of time with poor customer service. This person also sent me an email using profanity. When I tied to contact him to see if I could straighten out the situation with the email address he provided it was a bad email address and the phone number he provided was also bad."
