My front doors were yellowing, peeling, etc. I had someone finish my mahogany extra tall double doors a couple of years ago and it didn't keep, in fact, they looked terrible.  The morning sun on the doors, ruined the finished doors, etc.

Marcelo came to assess the doors and he knew what happened, he provided me with literature about a product that should have been used on the doors, instead of just polyurethane.

Seeing that Marcelo used a better product on the doors, I used him after discussing details.  He was patient, kind, and personable in answering my many questions.

When he came out to do the work with his men, they were punctual, organized, clean, etc.  They stripped the doors and completely finished it to its beauty.  The custom mailbox was also brought back to what it should be, after they cleaned the black mold and painted the surfaces. 

I will definitely use Marcelo again and I understand that he does other kinds of work than just painting.  However, he knows painting and knows how to solve unusual problems beyond the ordinary painting job. He is so knowledgeable and courteous too.

I am having him back to do another job. It looks terrific. He kept things neat. He was very responsive, there was a language barrier though.

We couldn't be happier with the job Primo did. The company owner works with his crew on a job and they were all on the job daily once they began on the agreed-upon start date.  Although they had originally estimated that the job might take 12-13 working days, they were able to finish in less than 10 - a bonus. They did a beautiful job with all surfaces, even the ones with significant weathering. We used a latex exterior paint on most surfaces with a waterproofing stain on some of the stairs & support posts. Clean up was thorough at the end, and they also straightened things up on a daily basis so that we weren't inconvenienced. They took great care while doing the power washing & spray applications by removing screens & covering all near by windows, fixtures, etc. with plastic or masking tape. Another bonus: for $350 a year, they will come once a year to do a power wash of the entire house so as to prevent the buildup of mildew & mold, and to keep the paint surface looking its best. We purchased the house in April of 2011 in "as is" condition and knew it needed work to improve its exterior appearance. We also knew it needed numerous repairs from the checklist which we had obtained from the home inspector we hired prior to purchase. We obtained 3 quotes and went with Primo who happened to be the most expensive. We chose Primo because the owner Marcello stressed the quality of his work. He took the time to inspect the house and give a detailed quote. When he found we needed repair of a large exterior staircase as well as multiple other repairs he sent his carpenter, Ryan, to look things over. Of all the contractors and inspectors we had look at our place, Ryan was the only one who noticed a potentially dangerous structural defect with the staircase. The original contact with Marcello was in April of 2011. The quote was finalized in June and work was started in August. Marcello had estimated that the work would take 2 weeks and warned us that rainy weather could cause delays. When we signed the contract we had a very firm date by which we needed the project completed. All the work was done to our satisfaction. The exterior painting was great. The many repairs were done. The stairs were completely rebuilt. After the work was completed some damage was found to a screen which when called to Marcello's attention was repaired. Our one dissatisfaction with Primo was that even though there was plenty of lead time, work was completed just prior to the deadline. However, the deadline was met. We are very happy and satisfied with the work Primo did and our home looks great.

Marcelo is a great person to work with.  He is thorough and detailed  oriented.  We did a walk-through of my place of what needed to be done and I gave him a color sample.  He matched the color almost to the T.  He and his crew ensures that you are satisfied with their work and it was completed within the time-frame he estimated.  Excellent service

They did a very good job. They didn't do other jobs while they were doing my job. They finished in two days. They were very clean and reliable. I would use them again in the future.

They are meticulous, use only quality products, come when they say they will come and the price is very reasonable.
