Kamille Studio's

I attended the baby expo at the blaisdell and entered my son in some contests. In January 2010, Barbara Kamille phoned me to let me know that we had one a prize at the expo and that I should come down to her studios so we could discuss it further. The "prize" was half off her normal fee of $1400! I should not have agreed to work with her, but unfortunately I did. She "specializes" in baby photography. I agreed to do a shoot with her. The day of the shoot came. She expected me to get my own props. And she expected me to help her carry all of her equipment. She brought a friend along to help her. I brought my father and step-mother. She was slow at taking the photos. She yelled at us. She was very rude and pushy. We all had bad feelings about her. Probably a month or so later, she called me to tell me the product was ready, but I must send in the remaining balance before I could pick it up. I asked if I could just pay day of and she would not allow it. So I sent her a check. When it finally came time to pick up my product, she delayed it. She called me the day of and told me she had a "pipe break" in her air conditioner. So I should come by the next week to pick it up. I went down there to pick up the product which was supposed to be 3 wrapped canvases. Well, they were not wrapped canvas, just flat canvas. I had something come up on the way to her studios, so I just gave a quick look to the product and had to go. When I got home I took a better look. There was dog hair EMBEDDED into the ink of the picture on all 3 canvases! I was livid. I called her and she proceeded to tell me that she looks at every picture with a magnifying glass before she gives out the product. I told her that was unacceptable. She agreed to replace the 3 canvases. We agreed on a date and that she would drive closer to me to pick up the product. I did not hear from her the day before so I called her the morning of. She proceeded to tell me that she had totaled her car. So we delayed another week. Finally I received my product and it was fine. It was a very negative experience. I thought I was finally done with her, but unfortunately that was not the case. With the canvas I was also given a disk with the image so I could make prints. So for father's day I went to make a print for my in-laws. I put the disk in and uploaded the image to the program she suggested and the file was not big enough to even make an 8x10 print! That was the last straw. I tried to call her to give her a chance to fix the situation. SHe did not. SO I reported her to the BBB. She did not respond to them either.  She is awful to work with. She is very unprofessional. Stay far far away from her.
