It was a very bad experience. They told me I was a VIP customer. I have spent over $40,000 at this gallery in the past six years. I told the sales lady, Nani, that I would only buy it if I could get it delivered to me by the end of May. She told me that would be no problem being that I was a VIP customer. She even called ahead and verified that they could do it. Nani first called me in May and told me that it was made and they had to get the glass from California and base from Oregon, and that it would be put together and shipped to me. She called me back later that week and told me it was the wrong order that was made because they gave her the wrong information and it wasn’t done yet. A customer service woman, Janette Rowan, called me back and said she would let me know when it would be put together and shipped. More time past and I got another call from a shipper, Michelle. She asked me for a time window of when I would be home so they could ship it while I was home, so I gave her a two hour window. I then got another call saying a laser was busted in California so they weren’t able to cut the glass yet, so it was still not being shipped yet. I asked to speak to someone in charge because of all the confusion. They put me in touch with their Vice President, Jeanie Lee. I explained to her that I was supposed to have the VIP set up. They finally called me at the end of June and said everything was together and they would get it shipped and asked for another day that I would be home. The shipper called me and asked for a bigger window, so I gave them 3 hours. They told me they needed a bigger window. I gave them another date and a 4 hour window. I told them if they couldn’t get it there then I wanted my money back. I had already rescheduled my vacation twice, etc. Jeanie said they were trying to get it to me, and I told her I would only be home until 6:00 because I had plans to have dinner with my daughter. They called me after 6:00 to deliver it and I told them I wouldn’t be home for a few hours. I told them to put it on the dock or do whatever they had to do. I called Jeanie Lee the next day and again asked for my money back, and she told me there were no refunds. I gave them another date to deliver, and the truck driver finally showed up sometime in July. The glass top was 300 pounds, and the delivery man was alone, so he had to call someone else to come help him get the table in. I called Janette Rowan the next day and asked if I would get any compensation for any of this mess. I was told I would hear back from them in a week, and never heard from her again. I went back to Haleiwa in September and spoke to Nani again about the whole situation. I wanted to talk to Keith Wyland many times, but he was not available. I would really like to speak with him at some point. I am really disappointed about how this whole operation is set up.
Description of Work: I purchased a coffee table from them. The base is turtle and it has a thick glass top to it.
