Double "I" Electric

A whopping $550.00 is what it cost me to have 1 new ceiling fan installed and replacing a total of 4 smoke alarms and installing 2 new smoke alarms. Art arrived onsite about 3 PM and was complete with his work about 4:45 PM. The location for the 4 hard wired smoke alarms were already wired, no problem with the existing wires, just chose to replace because the smoke alarms would go off intermittently for no reason at all. The other 2 were battery operated that had been placed in new locations because the existing smoke alarm had been placed too close to the kitchen and it too would go off periodically on it's own because of the heat from cooking. I purchased 4 of Art's hard wired smoke alarms because the ones that I purchased were battery operated. Art charged me $300.00 to install the 4 hard wired smoke alarms. I asked Art how much would the smoke alarms cost me and he chuckled and made it seem like it wouldn't cost me a whole lot, nothing like what he actually charged me, a whopping $300.00. Not too happy.
