Ken did a great job, both in the initial diagnosis and the subsequent repair. My sewer line had Major roots obstructing the line, causing backup inside the house. Required major excavation and replacement of a section of the line near the street where it connected to utilities. A great job was done by the father and son team that did the actual excavation. They did their best to limit damage to bushes and trees in the area, always choosing care over ease for them.

It went fine. The pressure from the gasket was down too low so it takes more time to get enough water to the shower than usual. After the company was informed of my concern, the owner called me and sent a technician out to address and resolve the issue right away. Gareth was on time, polite and friendly, informative (which I greatly appreciated) and professional. He checked the pressure and noted it was low as I had experienced and he fixed it to my satisfaction. The water pressure from all pipes and faucets are now favorable without wasting water. Kudos to Allgood Plumbing!!!. Again I appreciate their support and input and I will gladly recommend them in the future. Marcia

I didn't want to have any surprises. They gave me really good and detailed information. They explained it to me. That was the first time that I used them. One person came out. The rate was really good on the website, and so I called them, and asked them if they could do that kind of a service, and then I hired them. The price is decent. They were punctual,and they came on time.

All I did was ask for a quote. Person on the phone made me repeat myself over and over and she still called me by the wrong name, kept saying the wrong address and phone number. So that was a bit frusterating. All I wanted was a quote but for someone to come over and give me a quote they charge $39. Maybe they do great work, I wouldn't know, based on that conversation I'm just going to call someone else.

Fast, efficient, listened to what I needed. Did not try to sell me more than I needed. Obviously a good company. Jonathan was excellent. This was a late afternoon appointment. He still got the work done that same day, including driving a fair distance to get what we needed, got back here, and installed everything until almost dark. VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

Very nice and professional. Gave me advice n the other showers/faucets in the house. Everything seems to be working fine now. I thought the price was a little steep, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Very responsive when I called to schedule a visit. It was a Monday but 2 hours after I called they where here. We discussed options on type of water heaters, and once we decided they were ready to start the work. They started to drain the current heaters while they left to pick up two new Rheem heaters. They cam back with the heaters around 11:00am and the job was tested and completed by 3:00pm. Everything was cleaned up and no leaks any where. Job well done!! I will try their electrical services as well.

I called to have an electrician come out and make sure that power was getting to our pool pump. I had already scheduled a pool company to come out, but they weren't available until a week later and I wanted to make sure it wasn't electric before they came out. Not only did they verify that it wasn't an electrical problem, but the representative that came out had extensive experience dealing with pool equipment and he fixed a problem with the timer on the pump. The whole thing took about 2 hours or so. He saved me from having to wait another week to get my pool running. Great service! We had the plumbing service out for some gas line issues in the fall and the same situation. Identified the problem and fixed it the same day at a very reasonable price. Can't say enough about Allgood.

Very high quote of $2500 - Said he would use my previous breakers. If I would have gone with him, it would have been against code. I ended up going with someone else who charged me much less.

Have been very pleased with them. All of their services are terrific. They’re the nicest people, and everyone who works there are amazing. They’re a great company.

He found that the switches were fine but there was an issue with the wiring. I really thought he did a great job.

The electrician (Rich) was exceptionally professional and capable. Exceeded my expectations in all areas including cost.

Gareth was the installer, and he was great! Our old water heater was 17 years old, and the thermocouple went out. Gareth came out replaced everything, and then cleaned up perfectly (even moving my fishing rods back in the same exact position they were in before).

They went through everything. It was very good. I have dealt with several plumbers, some of them I have had trouble getting them out here but these guys are pretty good. They are pretty responsive. You are not going to get one the same day but they try to get in as soon as they could. They are very professional. They are better than your average plumber. I got them off Angie's List. They were very reasonable. They were good about getting there on time and within the time frame that they promised.

He was wonderful. He was very courteous and explained to me exactly what he did and did it timely. He did a very good job. He was on time and understood what had to be done on the job. He is also available on Saturdays which is a good thing and does not charge anything extra for that.

My wife and I decided that the intermittent problems with the toilets not flushing correctly at times needed to be repaired. The house is 12 years old. The Allgood Plumbing & Electric was in the area of Atlanta based on the April 2015 Angies List Monthly (Atlanta Northeast Edition). It was perfect timing. We contacted them on 4/10/15 and set it up for 4/14/15 between 10am and 2pm. They were to contact us when on their way and that his name was James. Received a call before 11am that he was on his way. Upon arrival, we explained the issues with two of the toilets and the third toilet did not really have an issue. James checked each of the three and realized that besides being 12 years old, they were not good toilets to begin with, and the third one would be having problems soon. He pointed to the items on all three and explained why. Back to the kitchen for further discussion. He explained that the repairs to the current three would cost the equivalent of replacing the toilets due to the current problems and recommended the actual replacement of the three. My wife and I decided the best thing to do is replace the old low cost toilets with the American Standard toilets. James completed the total replacement of all three toilets by approximately 6 pm, including a run to Home Depot for some longer pipe. More comfortable toilets that use maybe half the water that the old one used. Changed the incoming water pressure from 90 lbs to the correct 50 to 60 pound pressure that the county required. A fantastic job along with a very pleasant young man. The company (and James) will get any plumbing problems that exist in the future in our house and any of our friends houses.

Jonathan Deweese was the technician. He was professional, pleasant and thorough. Was able to assess and do all the work in the same day. Would absolutely ask for him again when using Allgood Plumbing.

This time around, my experience was nothing but positive. I realize it was a special circumstance b/c they were going above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule, but the appt was efficiently scheduled and Melvin/Sabrina with the customer service dept made sure they had all of my information necessary so that the appt would be smooth. The day off I was called an hour before the technician arrived, and Danny was punctual, polite, and efficient. He was able to quickly assess and correct my plumbing problem with no issues. In general, while I hate that it took a bad review, I was pleased overall with the revised interaction that I had with Allgood Plumbing and would contact them again if any other issues arise.

Daniel P. was very courteous and was able to figure out the problem that two other plumbers failed to diagnose/fix. While this was a costly repair, I was given a discount which made the cost a little easier on my wallet.

Alan came to give me an estimate and completed to work the same day. He was very efficient, competent, courteous and professional. Very easy to work with.

UPDATE: I heard directly from Melvin, the owner, last week in response to my review. I found him to be very professional and a strong listener who genuinely cared about my experience. He made what I felt was an incredibly generous effort to resolve my chief concern with the overall service. Based on this, I would not hesitate to consider his company for future work. The whole process was fine. No complaints about the call & setting up appointment, punctuality, and overall friendliness of service. Very good and high scores there. Issue around price for services performed, but the owner contacted me directly and we were able to sort out the problem after listening to my experience. Overall, very satisfied with their work.

James N. came to the house for a separate issue it was not a plumbing issue so he informed me that since we we're listing the house and had already committed to the 39$ for the estimate that he could do a free plumbing home inspection for me. He informed me that my water heater was out of code and full of rust. He was able to put a new one in the same day and bring the house up to code. He also rebuilt my rusted toilet innards. All the work was done quickly and efficiently and came with warranties on parts and labor. James also took the time to explain the code issue and show me the innards of the toilets where the issues were. The repair gave me piece of mind with my plumbing before listing my house. James was friendly and easy to talk to and explained my other options to me.

You don't think of "smart," "creative" and "good listener" as the key traits you want in a plumber. But of the four folks that came out and gave estimates, only James N. listened carefully to what I was trying to accomplish and came up with a great suggestion based on getting me to my goal. Even more impressive, the model he wanted to install was precisely what internet research pointed to as the best value on the market. AND his price for the install was the most competitive, AND he was flexible on price and knocked off a few shekels in exchange for me doing some of the demo work. He did the install precisely when he said he would. Professionalism just doesn't get better than James N.
