We were loyal Allgood customers using them for both HVAC and plumbing needs over the last few years. However, after charging us $375 to plunge a toilet which only flushed one time correctly after they left, we will no longer be using Allgood. When we asked them to come back and further evaluate the problem, they asked for $475. We said no thanks and went to another company. After asking Allgood for an adjustment to the incredibly high fee for getting one flush from the repaired toilet, they responded that their fees are set by a corporate office. I no longer want to deal with a company that has no local empowerment to look at a situation and make adjustment of fees as warranted. Allgood does not honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee.

the service was horrible. I was scheduled to have a tech come out to repair a condenser fan motor. the tech did not show on the day scheduled. I had to call repeatedly to finally get rescheduled for the next day. the tech showed. confirmed the motor is bad, Confirmed the part is under warranty (less than 2 yrs old) Then said the labor cost is $1352. WHAT??? to change a fan motor?? This is a job that would take me 30 min to complete. It took the Tech 15 minutes. I feel ROBBED!!! Do Not use Allgood for service. They will over charge you and if you question them their canned response is "these are corporate prices" Bad excuse and bad service. they lost me as a repeat customer!!!

have given over $15,000+ of business across two new HVAC units and a tankless water heater plus multiple hundreds on one off problems. Saturday, a gentlemen came to the house to fix my AC which they had installed, the fee was $79. He told me that my coil was bad and the replacement cost was $3,000 in labor, even though the part was covered by the manufacturer. With my long standing relationship a manager agreed to a “free” second estimate. Today the call center called my wife and told her that we would have to pay for the call out and if that was not acceptable, we can go elsewhere. She tried to explained the relationship and the fact that there was a prior agreement for a free estimate. The lady on the phone would not budge and told her again to go elsewhere. So we did, and the problem was not the coil but an issue with the low voltage wiring which was blowing a fuse (Allgood installed this). All in all I paid $350, 10% of what I was going be paying Allgood. I am so disappointed that they did not honor their commitment but more importantly the diagnosis was wrong. And it seemed that they were hoping that we would be pushed into a $3000 con job. Sorry to say I will never use Allgood again. Also get a second estimate or opinion before being conned.

Beware of Allgood. During due diligence, in August I paid them $737 to come out and provide an inspection, diagnosis and estimate for repair on our water supply line leak in our foundation. Estimate was for "not more than" $8500. Scheduled work right away for the day after closing in September 5 weeks ago. They didn't show. Rescheduled work and they came out, worked all day then said it will now cost $23k because they didn't check the pipe they were going to connect to in the first place when they put the estimate together and deemed it unable to be used. Need to trench across the street and connect directly to the main. I paid half and asked to settle on final price with the supervisor (who never called. I had to go on facebook to find out his contact info and he quit a week later.). The team worked another day and then said - they were digging around looking for the main. They had not located it and it would cost another $7k to continue. Exploratory digging isn't a plan. So I paused the work to have them or the HOA locate the main using technology and to settle on a fair price to resolve. Determined a work plan. Offered them the first opportunity to complete the work. They demanded payment of the rest of the $23 K (another $11.5k) plus more to continue work. What exactly am I paying for? They never repaired the issue, trenched property and street leaving rubble, damaged the whole home filtration system and left me with a hot mess all for the price of$23 K? I hired another plumber who is fixing the issue for $7k. I was and am very disappointed, I was a long standing customer who used Allgood since 2013. I defended their diagnosis and repair to our HOA and kept them in the loop every step of the way so they could be part of the solution. Instead - they swindled me, They are threatening to send my account to collections. Said their money back guarantee doesn't apply to water supply plumbing when the website only indicates sewer work is excluded. Do NOT use Allgood.

July 2020. The system was put by two men that did not know what they were doing, old parts with new parts, caused flooding into closet my bedroom. They fixed the damage, the unit hasn't worked properly since. We have called repeatedly they come fix the issue then something else breaks down, I paid it off in 2021. We have been getting the run around ever since, every summer the air goes out, they are telling me it need freon, are you serious, it's a year old. Then it's the lines, oh they are frozen, oh really. Then they tell yes corporate was in town and they were cleaning house, getting rid of incompetent workers, that came from some representative. They extended the warranty last year because of all of thr problems, 2022 now the same issues, sending representative after representative out to the house it's never the same issue. I wish I had followed my first mind and went with someone else. I wouldn't recommend this company they don't make issue right, never follow up, oh we are working remotely and we are having meetings about what to do. It's been weeks, still nothing. If you don't want the problems we are having with this company do not do business with them. I have cried to my husband about all of this. He is frustrated to no end with the run around he has been getting. You pay for the system.l, you expect it to work. They have not tried to make this right. Oh, I have a paper trail to prove they don't do what they say

They did the job fine and came in a timely fashion. Beware they charge over a 600 dollar mark up for parts. We were charged 600 dollars for a 50 dollar part and the tech was here 40 minutes. They take full advantage of a customer’s need. Will never use again. This is why people hate companies. Use a local guy if possible.

Horrible. Just barely over a year after install the unit died. The tech missed 3 service appointments. We had to cancel meetings to meet with him two hours outside his window. The fix will be $2,000. We called another company out and they said, “that piece rarely goes bad, even in units over 10 years old. When it does go bad it’s either an install error or manufacture defect. If you need me to fix it it’ll be $1,250.” Allgood refuses to fix the error but have decided to “work with us” and ONLY charge us the 1,250 the other company would have to fix their mistake. Horrible horrible experience. Only use them if you want to pay them to fix their mistakes only a year after buying an 8k hvac. Zero

Installation was done 2 service appts were suppose to be made during 1st year of installation only 1 was performed and later then 6 months time after install ation Approx. May 25 2020 alligood tech Demetris Madden came to address a complaint of unit not cooling my home it was fixed supposedly with a new thermostat installed this worked for about 2 weeks than on July 1st i called again because unit wasn't cooling i insisted that someone come today because my place was very uncomfortable the tech didn't come by 5pm and the offfice catlled and said he was behind I agreed that he come 1st appt next morning well he came and after working for a while he reported wiring had been done wrong he corrected it and stayed to make sure it was working well it wasn't so he investigated mor'te and finally admitted to me the unit wass defective and had to hicreplaci ment the holiday were here so i waited til Mon to hear from him no call tues I called and they said someone would call they couldn't give name. Well its been a week since and no one has called me or left a vm message i have been with air conditioning my homes humidity has gone above 60 which is favorable for mold growth the unit kept the humidity lower today i called and told the person who answers the call i wanted my money back the unit removed from my home and they told me again someone would call me back in 24hrs ago i've been without air for a week I CALLED ANGIES LIST

THIS WAS BEFORE THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK, so no excuse for the complete lack of customer service. I made an appointment to have my kitchen sink drain cleaned out. It wasn't draining, and the block was beyond where the drain line went into the wall and then under the floor. The appointment was for a Saturday afternoon between 2-6. When no one showed up by 6, I called the company and was told that the service tech would not be able to come to my house that day. The appointment was rescheduled for the following Saturday afternoon between 2-6. Again, no one showed up, and no one called to let me know. When I called AllGood, I was told that the service tech couldn't come that day. I complained that this was the 2nd cancelled appointment without any notification. The appointment was rescheduled for the next day, Sunday, between 2-6. NO SHOW. NO CALL. NO NOTIFICATION. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced from a service company. DO NOT COUNT on AllGood.

Fraudulent thieves. Called to make an appointment, and thoroughly explained the situation. the person on the phone didn't seem to be able to comprehend simple English and missed the phone number three times. When she finally repeated it back to us correctly we thought we'd be ok. She still gave the plumber the wrong number so even though they had the address and email they "attempted to call" the wrong number and never showed or emailed until we waited for the full 4 hour window. We called back and they said they couldn't make it without a $100 emergency fee, even though it was their fault. So now out a 2nd day without water. Later that night, having rescheduled, the plumber calls and says "hey I heard the situation and yeah the $99 advertised fee isn't going to work for your job. it's gonna be at least $700 oh and the free inspection won't count either. Mind you the tech hasn't been here to see the site, and already saying the promotion is no good. Bait and switch with them pushing the date purposefully to put us in a state of emergency.

Be prepared to be ripped off by some of the folks in this company. I called for an electrical estimate...a simple job involving retrofitting 4 pendant lamps into 4 existing overhead kitchen canned light outlets. I would have done it myself but a back injury prevents me from using a ladder. I got several estimates in the $150 to $250 range...and then I called Allgood. After carefully describing the job the electrician quoted me a price of (hold your breath)... $1200. I should have known better than contacting these folks.. They also do plumbing work. A few years ago I had a sewer line blockage. They sent a guy named (I think) "Ted" over. Ted reminded me of everyone's granddad...pleasant and honest looking. After looking at the problem "Ted" told me that he needed to dig up my lawn and driveway..because he was certain that roots were invading my sewer line. Ted furthermore said that the cost for the project would be $3005 dollars. Think about that...not $3000 or $3100 thousand...but exactly $3005 dollars!!! At that point, I got very very suspicious. Ted, I later found out by speaking to one of the managers of this company..does about 2 or 3 "driveway ripping up" projects a week. Anyway..I decided to get a second estimate and (as it turned out) the blockage was caused by my grandson flushing some paper toweling down the toilet. I haven't had a sewer problem since. It cost me $100 ..and NOT $3005 dollars. I didn't want to have to write this report. but the same ******** has happened again with the $1200 electrician estimate for what turned out to be a $150 job. Disgusting. someone should investigate the practices of this company

RARE miss for Allgood. Full disclosure, my brother has been in HVAC work for 20 years so I knew going into it exactly what I needed. I used Allgood because I didn't want to have him drive 90+ miles to do a simple job. That said, the guy didn't do the work that was requested and insisted it was something completely different when explaining it to my renters. I called him and he tried running the same thing on me until I took apart his explanation point by point. He ultimately agreed and asked if he wanted me to have him reschedule an appointment - NOPE! Had another HVAC friend come and swap out the thermostat - system works like a champ. As a returning /long term client I was given a discount on the service that was provided but a discount on junk is still money I shouldn't have lost. I will continue to be an Allgood customer, just not the HVAC side of the house which is a shame because I am replacing the entire system and water heater within the next 6 months.

the cost to purchase and install was a little over $1500. the filtration system worked poorly from the outset, and allgood has not been able to fix the issue... on top of that, they have cancelled 2 appointments (not cancelled, just a complete no-show). i'm very disappointed in this once family-owned company...

They are professional and go-getters. There are couple of other company but they responded to me the same day and came out tomorrow morning. At first, not so well. The dispatcher lady assured me the men she was sending would give me an estimate before doing the work. So, I blame myself for not making that clear to them as they came in the door. I wanted to "stay out of their way," so as I was working on the other side of the house, it turned out that they were doing the actual work of changing washers on two sinks and starting work on one toilet. When they came out to give me their estimate, I was appalled that they wanted $500 and had already done much of the work. So, it was hard to back out and get other estimates from other companies before accepting the least expensive. I got them to price the work already done at $175 and paid them, assured that all the toilet needed was a new clapper, which I was confident I could do. Unfortunately, once I had the new clapper in, the drips continued, so I called to have them send out another guy (James Nuckles) to finish the job. He did that for $500 (there was a cracked pipe at the toilet that needed replacing, in addition to the other one on the exterior of our garage that we already knew about). So, in the end, we spent more that the original estimate, but the new guy (Mr. Nuckles) really knew what he was doing, gave me estimates in advance, and has left us with a house that now has no plumbing problems for the first time in a decade. Like with everything, your results depend on getting experience with how to utilize your tools, such as with Angie's List !!
