Great service. Performed job well, crew worked very fast and efficiently. They cleaned up all debris perfectly as well.

Mr. Snyder arrived just as promised to provide the estimate and was thorough in his approach. We have quite a bit of work that needs to be done and Mr. Snyder helped us prioritize and work within our budget. His crew arrived as planned and performed all the work, exactly as promised. The team was courteous and professional as they worked and thoroughly cleaned up all of the debris. We will definitely use Little Bear in the future!

Today, Little Bear Tree Services cut down a dying double-trunk tree in our backyard. It was by far the best tree removal experience we have ever had. The crew was amazing. The quality of their work was the best. And the clean-up was perfect. And we used an Angie?s List 20% discount!

One word - FANTASTIC! I have used Little Bear before, so I knew the job would be done well. Greg brings about 4-5 people and their skill will blow you away. They removed a total of 4 medium limbs at 40 feet up and one very large limb at about the same height. They also removed a fallen pine tree off my fence. Everything was ground up, the yard was raked and blown off, the roof, decks, and driveway were blown off. Once they left the only evidence that work had been done were the missing limbs. You can't go wrong with this company!

Arrived on time at 8 am, worked steadily and were all cleaned up by 4;30, 5 man crew. Worked very safely and were very skilled at their work. All the logs and trimmings were removed by hand, no Bobcats or other equipment run across the lawn areas. All of the trees removed were close to the house and removed without incident. Yard was cleaner after they finished than when they arrived!

Greg's crew showed up on time and got the job done quickly. They did a nice to call several times before they came and cleaned up the bank nicely. Great job.

I have to say, Greg & his team were phenomenal. They took out 40+ red tips for us (I think it ended up being 45) in ONE day. It was incredible. Great work, great team, and great price. I'd hands-down recommend using him. We'll definitely be using him again (we live in a wooded lot) and have already been recommending him & his team to our neighbors and friends. Really, stop looking / price shopping here and call Greg / Little Bear Tree Service. His prices are great, he's extremely professional, and timely. We had that good of an experience with using him & his company. (I should note - I realize this sounds like an overly glowing review. It's actually our real experience and we'd definitely hire them again. We've used other tree services in the past, and I was/still am just really impressed by Greg and his crew) (Other side note - we did get them some cold waters/gatorades as it was a lot of work. They really appreciated it!! I'd suggest doing the same as it's hot out there! They did our work in late July!)

They were very prompt in getting me a quote and very professional in reviewing the process and timetable. I chose to go with another company, based on price alone. Good experience and would give them a call if I have another job.

I decided to get another quote which turned out to be half the price.

Initially called Little Bear Tree service on 2/25 for them to come out for an estimate. Not sure who I spoke with (no name given, forgot to ask), but they said with the impending possible ice storm they weren't sure of the schedule for the next few days. The guy said he'd call be back the next morning (2/26) once he had a better grasp of their schedule. However, never heard back from them. Called on Friday afternoon and let them know of the lack of a callback. Apologized for the issue, and scheduled someone to come out Monday (3/2) for a quote. Stan Tucker came out on time and took a look around with me. I expressed what I would like done, and he was very responsive to my desires and took accurate notes. Also pointed out a couple things that I may not have noticed otherwise, which was nice. He seemed very well versed. After going through the work, he gave me the quote. However, he just wrote the figure on the back of his business card. No official written quote of any type. Just felt 'off' to me, and didn't like it for simple 'proof of purchase' reasons (without an official written quote, in hand, how was I to know that rate was locked in or that I'd even get an official receipt). Anyway, the 'quote' was reasonable. I called Stan back on Friday (3/6) to ask about the 20% Angie's List coupon. He initially told me his original figure included it (how would it though, as they never asked how I found them), but he did take it off his original figure anyway. That was nice. However, when I asked for proof of liability insurance and workers compensation coverage (which everyone should do), he balked a bit. Said he could 'work on' getting me the liability proof, but revealed they don't carry workers compensation, which would plant an injury to their any of their workers while on the job square on me (especially if they hire any day laborers for their jobs). That is a MAJOR point, especially with a job the consists of climbing up to high places with dangerous power tools in-hand). I understand the expense issue for them, and I am sure they still get plenty of jobs otherwise. But, I feel that preys on a customer's ignorance in that they have no idea what they are getting into without doing the proper research beforehand. I can also deal with paying a bit more knowing that I am protected if, God forbid, something does happen on the job site. That issue, along with the apparent lack of ISA/TCIA certifications (none listed on AL or their website) made me look elsewhere, even though they seemed knowledgeable and their quote ended up being the lowest one we received.

From my first phone call to Greg at Little Bear Tree Service I could tell I had called the right company. Greg was cordial and personable and committed to take a personal look at the tree that same day. Within 2 hours of my call Greg was at the home and called me to give me a price quote. We quickly came to terms and scheduled the service 2 days later. I requested a 1-hour advance notice call from him and it came promptly the day of service. A five man crew showed up with trucks and equipment that looked to be modern and in good condition. They had to remove a section of wooden fence in order to fall the tree in a location that would miss the house and nearby trees. It was a tight fit, which meant they had to secure several ropes to keep it from falling in the wrong direction. Right before it fell Greg arrived at the home and his men cut the tree and lowered it slowly to the ground. Safe and sound. No more risk for us and our neighbors! Greg has a great company and some good employees and I would highly recommend that you use his services.

His crew were fast and did well considering that the branches could have fallen on the roof, could have broken a window, or large branches could have damaged the deck. None of those things happened. They chipped the wood and it was like they were never there afterwards.

Very well. I called on one day, his crew was able to come out the next because they had a job scheduled near by. They were done within an hour and left no mess. Greg, the owner, came with his crew. Before leaving he made sure that all the work was done to my satisfaction. Little Bear is first on my list for the next time I need tree service.

Stan and the crew were prompt in their arrival at my home on Saturday. Stan stayed at the site the entire time the work was being done. He was very professional, pleasant and courteous. The men on the crew did a great job removing the trees without damaging my plants / flowers in the area. They cleaned up so well I couldn't tell any trees had been removed. I received other estimates for this job. Some were slightly less in price but didn't offer the full service offered by this company; for example, the care taken to not harm the plants / flowers in the area & removal of the old debris from prior cuttings. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. Also, the owner, Greg, stopped by to check on the work. He was also professional and courteous. I was pleased to see that the owner wanted to ensure all was going well with the work. I give them a A+.

Greg and the crew from Little Bear were very nice and efficient. They did an excellent job taking down a couple of tall trees and trimming some others and removed several bushes that were overgrown. They were very professional, cleaned up all the limbs and left the yard looking really good. We would definitely recommend Little Bear Tree Service and we will definitely use them again.

Greg and Little Bear Tree Service did a great job. The appointment was quick and easy to setup. The estimate was performed and the work was ordered. They did exactly what we asked by removing the trees. The didn't cause any damage and the clean-up was through. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Little bear was very responsive - he even came out to do an estimate that night around 8:30pm to make sure that we weren't in any sort of imminent danger from it falling onto anything. I was very impressed by that! He was great about explaining what his team would do, when they could do it and the risks involved (it was hanging over our neighbor's house). In the end, their quote was higher than another company but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for some additional bigger jobs we will be purusing later this year, even though we did not end up using them.

The owner visited us to provide a quote. He was thorough, pointing out the types of trees in our yard and how often each needed to be trimmed. When he returned to trim the trees, he did a walk-through of what would be done prior to starting. He was focused on doing what was right for the trees. The trees look great!

Large crew worked quickly and efficiently - service was great- would use again.

The crew of Little Bear Tree Service arrived early in the morning to start work, branches were all lowered on ropes, not just dropped to the ground, and they listened and acted to all our concerns. The cleanup was amazing, it was left cleaner than when they arrived. We would definitely recommend this tree service to anyone. We will definitely be using them again!

It went great. He came out and looked at the tree, then we scheduled a day. He came with a team of a few people and they removed the tree. Then they did a great job cleaning up. They didn't cause any damage or problems. I highly recommend!

They got there early in the morning, 8:00 am and stayed on the job till it was complete, about 4 pm. There were a few miscommunication and the job was more expensive than I thought it should be (and that was with the 20% Angie's List member disc), but the men did a great job. They did not tell us that we could keep the mulch from the trees until my husband inquired about it.....b/c we were on our way to buy mulch for the yard for the new trees we are planting.

I was very impressed with the work and professionalism of Greg and his team at Little Bear. When the tree fell, I immediately called a number of tree services to get estimates. Greg was quick to both respond to my call and come out to my house to give an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable to start out with, and then he even gave me the additional Angie's list discount on top of it when I asked about it. To give you an idea of the difficulty of the job, some of the other companies I contacted wouldn't even give me an estimate due to it being outside of their ability to be able to take it down without damaging my house. Due to some expected rain, Greg called the night before they were scheduled to come out to reschedule it for the following day. I really appreciated him communicating to me the night before, rather than morning of. Greg and his crew showed up on time, and methodically removed the tree without damaging my property. Overall, I would highly recommend using Little Bear Tree Service!! .
