Description of Work: For roofing purposes, all went well, however, there was a construction component for replacement of doors and a portico over the front door. The construction crew was professional and did a good job but the manager was non-communicative, far from punctual and very difficult to work with. The main office was responsive but seemed unable to resolve the ineptitude |While I might recommend Dr. Roof for just roof, if there is any other work (gutters, doorways, porticos, etc.) I would not use them again.

Description of Work: The original roof had Atlas Chalet shingles that were defective. I called for an inspection based on several roofs being replaced in the subdivision and if it needed to be replaced I wanted to use the most reputable company to do it. Upon inspection the representative said the roof was fine but recommended replacing the boots around the vent pipes due to nail heads showing around the boots. He also recommended some other minor work which I agreed to. Less than a month later the roof was inspected by another company that found wind damage and I filed a claim. An adjustor from the insurance checked the roof and agreed there was damage. He also stated that he saw there were new boots around the vent pipes and said there were nail heads showing and they were not installed properly. Subsequently I had a new installed along with new boots. I contacted Dr. Roof originally due to their excellent reputation. In their response to my inquiry about their inspection and nail heads they said you can get different opinions from different roofers on an inspection and that the boots were installed properly. They included photos of the boots. The insurance adjustor would seem to be an unbiased individual and I did not go on the roof to look at the nail heads. My opinion is that the inspection was not performed properly and that the recommendation to replace the boots and other work was a waste of my money since the work ended up being done again. I wasn't particularly satisfied by their response but there really does not seem to be much recourse other than to let others know that the ratings, at least in my case mean nothing. Prior to doing any work I should have gotten several different opinions. I was influenced by their ratings and trusted them.

Description of Work: They were not the cheapest but were the most professional and did good work. I've used them before, always with good results. They also gave me the most technical information about their service and guaranteed it for a year.

Description of Work: I had a roof leak. I was told there were 2 possibilities for the leak, and neither was conclusive based on location of leak around my chimney. A repair was made based on the first possible reason for the leak (cost about $800), the roof continued to leak; called them back, a repair was made based on the second reason for the leak (cost about $1300), haven't had a problem since then
