We had only the estimate from Dr Roof, as the reviews were good. Therefore, I can't compare this price to others. It did seem reasonable. In retrospect, I would like to have seen pictures of the repair needing to be done, as I saw other companies had provided. Dr Roof did not offer to do that and I forgot to ask. The first app't was cancelled because the office was closed on the scheduled day. I was promised a call to advise arrival time the evening before the 2nd app't, and I did not receive one. Once started, the work was done in a timely manner but only time will tell if it was good work since I don't climb on 2nd story roofs -- or any roof! I hope it is a good repair because I hired them only because they are on Angie's List. Would I use them again? The choice is only yes or no. My answer is that I don't know. If the repair is good, then maybe.

One of the best contractor experiences I have had on Angies list. (Justin) came out promptly (at no charge) and helped identify source of a leak, which was a window not a roofing issue. Justin noticed some missing nails on some ridges and offered to fix them. I decided to go with the Angies list deal and have them check everything and seal small issues. Justin was direct and very honest, did find a few small things/gaps that he sealed up, and he also sealed the window frame area that was leaking. He takes pictures to show you clearly what is going on. Office staff was courteous, and Justin called when he had to reschedule due to weather.

Repair was good, but I did not like the price surcharge on equipment that was not used.

Company was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Was told last year I would need a new roof this year (on top of my "30-year roof", which was only 12 years old). Dr. Roof said "No way." I probably have 8+ more years on my roof. I did think they were pricey though. $1,000 for 1 hour job, minimal materials.

Alberto was on time, very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain everything he would be looking for during the inspection. He did the general maintenance work with before and after pics. He came down and showed me a picture of the boot needing to be replaced (I already knew it needed replacing), made sure I was in agreement and proceeded with repair. He did a great job and as I was viewing the pictures, I thought our hot water heater flue looked rusty, he assured me that it was perfectly fine and didn't need replacing. I thought that was very honest as lots of people would try to sell you something you didn't need.

Aaron Morrison is excellent. From the start, Aaron fully discussed with me his thoughts and evaluations of my "mystery leak" problem. Phase 1 was the repair of the vinyl siding at the back of the house. In Phase 2, he proposed that Dr Roof start with the step-wise method of solving and stopping the leak at the front of the house. That way, the repair cost would be kept to a minimum and we would be able to pinpoint how the water was entering the house. Aaron conducted all the water testing, and supervised the repairs and wall sealing, in a logical and methodical step-wise manner. His first water test showed that the water entry was not from the bay window's metal roof. He found poor workmanship in the bricklaying of the exterior wall above the bay window. That site of water entry, and caulking around window frames, was repaired in Phase 2. But, the leakage continued. In Phase 3, water testing showed water was entering from other lateral sites in the wall. Aaron recommended removing all shutters from all windows and recaulking all mortar joints and window frames, and applying a siloxane sealer to the entire brick wall. That stopped the leaks in the entire exterior wall.

I think they did a very good job, and I was pleased with their results. The crew was courteous and efficient. The crew leader followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with everything, which I was. I would certainly consider using them for work again in the future.

Their work turned out very well. In fact, my next door neighbor liked the work so much she asked me for their contact information. I think they were responsive, and I’m happy with how my chimney now looks.

We were extremely pleased with Dr. Roof! The gentleman who arrived was able to locate the problem area quickly. He provided honest advice by letting us know we only needed repair work instead of a complete replacement. He fixed the roof quickly and professional. I thought the price was reasonable. We would definitely use them again in the future!

Dr Roof Inc Dr Roof Inc, was very, very good. Very responsive. I called them and they came out the next day to do an estimate. Then came out the day after that and installed the attic fan. On time, efficient, did great work. They actually replaced my entire roof about 8 or 9 years ago. Did a great job !

It went very well. We had used them before and they always do a great job. They are very prompt and always follow up with projects after they are completed.

They did a great job. They were all so very professional. Even the crews were just great! Everyone was very considerate and polite. I always had someone to talk to when there was a glitch. They were right on top of everything for me. The man who rebuilt our dormers was so nice and so good! He even washed the windows for me.

I'm using them and they are up on the roof now. Actually they are working with the insurance so I'm not sure in the end certain things may not be covered and there may be some expense. He has pretty much told me that he will work within the package. They were the only company that I have ever seen who showed me first thing when they came in was their certificate of insurance showing general liability and workers compensation insurance. I won't have anyone come and work in my house without it. They came highly recommended. A couple of my neighbors have used them and so I went along with all that as well. I wasn't happy with the other guy I had who originally replaced my roof seven years ago. They just started work this morning.

They did an excellent job and I will be using them for my future projects, too.

Their repsonse time was the very next day. The technician was early, friendly and very helpful. He performed the service the same day for a fair price. i was going to get other estimates, but the price was great and he could do it same day! I would definately use Dr Roof for any future roofing needs.

This was my first experience with Dr. Roof. I called them because I noticed signs of a roof leak in the ceiling of one of my bedrooms. I had no idea where the leak was coming from. The technician from Dr. Roof arrived on time and in a well-marked vehicle. I showed the tech the water spot on the ceiling and gave my opinion as to the source. The problem turned out to be in a different area. While the technician was going around my attic, he pointed out that my stack boots were leaking and a there were a few holes due to the original shingling of the roof. Previously, I hired some fly-by-night roofer to go up and fix these holes, but the material this guy used was substandard, because it started to leak after a year and the adhesive did not bond correctly. (Lesson learned here). The tech provided an estimate and this was the cost. The work was actually performed a couple of days later by a roofer. The work seems to be holding up very well, because I see no evidence of leaking. The stack work was very well done and the technician repainted them so they look like new. I am pleased by the work performed by Dr. Roof. Given my previous experience with gypsy roofers, I will never hire another roofer who is not licensed, bonded and insured. Sure, Dr. Roof is more expensive--but you get what you pay for.

Called Dr. Roof a couple of weeks ago, and asked them to come out for an estimate. They were quite responsive, and returned my calls in a good amount of time. I set up an estimate appointment with Alberto, and he was great throughout the process! I first showed him the leak in our dining room, and went through with him what I could best tell where the leak was coming from when I inspected the attic. He went into the attic, inspected, and took pictures. Then, went to roof and did the same. He then took a few minutes to draft up a proposal. When he came back in, he showed me the photos he took, told me he agreed with my thoughts on the leak, and explained to me what was leaking and why. He also went over that he did not do a storm damage/full roof inspection, but that the leak in our roof could have been from hail or wind damage, but possibly just wear-and-tear/age. He then allowed me to take the estimate and discuss it with my wife...no pressure at all on 'selling' the service at that point, aside from reminding me that he didn't recommend that the leak continue to avoid damage to our ceiling, and the positive points of Dr. Roof (fully insured, work guarantee, etc). I talked to my wife that night, and we decided to go with Dr. Roof. We didn't get another quote, just because we thought the Dr. Roof quote was very reasonable. Called them back a couple days later to let them know we accepted the proposal, and ran into the only speed bump during the process. Left a message for Alberto with a gentleman who said he would relay the message and have Alberto call us back to set up the appointment. Left it on a Thursday morning, but didn't hear back for days. Had to call Dr. Roof on Monday afternoon, and turns out Alberto was never given the message. Not a big deal, but if I had another quote on the table, they may have lost a customer due to the oversight. Regardless, we scheduled the appointment with Alberto, and he was there the next day, on time, for the repair. Took him about 90 minutes to complete, and the job looks great. We haven't had enough rain since the repair to make sure the leak has been completely fixed, but once we do I'll update accordingly, if need be. Barring a negative outcome there, we were very happy with Dr. Roof, and will most likely use their services going forward.

The job went great overall! I actually plan to use them again soon.

Nick arrived on schedule. Showed him the water stain on the inside ceiling first. He took a look at the roof from inside the attic then did an outside inspection for 15 to 20 mins. Came in and wrote me up an estimate. Explained that any replaced roof tiles might not match exactly because of the age an style of my current tiles. He didn't have the parts on him so he said he would come back the following day. Got a VM from him the following day that the work was done. Looks great from the outside, can't even notice the changed shingles.

The first person that came out and gave me and estimate on a new roof I was not very happy with. He wasn't very knowledgeable and quoted me a high price. When I called back to just have the repairs done they sent out another man. I was very happy with this employee. He was very knowledgeable and honest.

I received quotes from 3 reputable companies and chose Dr Roof based on neighbor recommendations and reviews here on Angie's List. I am very pleased with the service provided. It started with a very professional and courteous estimate. Nick took the time to listen to my concerns/requirements and fill me in on potential issues once the project started based on the condition of my existing gutters and fascia boards. He was willing to reduce the cost of the project to align with other quotes received for the same service. Once the sub-contractor was assigned, he took the time to stop by and assess the project before he began to avoid any delays and pitfalls. The sub used has been a partner of Dr Roof for years, so that put me at ease. The project included removing the existing gutters, repairing approx. 30 feet of fascia board, painting to match the current fascia board, installing new gutters and removing all debris. The project took 2 days and at the end of each day the job site looked clean and safe. The new gutters look fantastic and were installed CORRECTLY. I would recommend Dr. Roof for gutters or any other project. I know they will be the first company we call in the future. Thanx Dr. Roof!

I am 100% satisfied, they did such a great job! I have complete confidence in their quality, as also noted in previous customer comments. I am so happy that they took their time to do the job right, working only in the daylight. (I have seen other companies in my neighborhood attaching shingle's at night to 10:30 pm - not a quality project.) You get what you pay for and I chose to go with reliable quality.
