Job went OK but was totally dissatisfied with professionalism of contractor. We had a $50 coupon from Angie's list but when contractor came to collect money said he wouldn't t take coupon because he under bid the job. I told him that this was not my concern and that perhaps he should learn from this. He said that he would make up for under bidding this job by over bidding on the next job. He said "you know how that works". I do indeed. I will never use this contractor again, nor will I recommend this company to anybody.

They were on time, very professional, reasonably priced and gave us a good honest opinion. They did a good job, we have not had more roof issues.

We are very pleased with the quality of work, no evidence of further leaks and the roof, fascia and gutter all look fantastic. The roofer that did the roof repairs was extremely courteous, thorough and pleasant to work with. We did not interact with the individuals on the fascia repairs/gutter install. Our one issue was with communication, very long turnaround times for quotes and getting the work scheduled - we typically had to follow up multiple times to any request for information or for scheduling. The job to replace fascia/install rain gutter was half completed (old rain gutter removed, fascia replaced, but no new rain gutter installed). We waited several days with no contact from the repair crew or Dr. Roof. When we called to inquire, Dr. Roof had no idea that the job had not been completed. It took several days to get the crew back onsite to finish the job, we didn't receive any explanation or apology. It didn't really hurt anything, but was a bit concerning that they had no idea whether their own crews had actually completed all of the work we had contracted to have done. At the end of the day we would consider Dr. Roof again, but we would be very clear in wanting better oversight that work is completed the first time.

I recommended Dr. Roof to our HOA because they roofed our house years ago and did a great job. This time I had to park my car outside of my garage along with others one night because their trucks were in both driveways working until after dark and their dumpsters and equipment were in the way. I could not park in the regular visitor parking spots but had to park parallel to our private driveway curb leaving enough room for cars and trucks to pass. The next morning both myself and a neighbor noticed the door on my car had been most likely backed into that night as they left. The paint left on my car was white and all of their vehicles were white. They also didn't block the driveways on another day and I got a nail in my tire. I am still finding nails in our yard and driveway. Contacted Michael Friedlander of the company to complain and they offered to pay $250 on an $1000-2000 door repair estimate. They will not get anymore recommendations from me and I have given them many over the years- not because they are poor roofers but because they refused to take responsibility for something that was obviously their fault or the fault of one of their contractors.

They did a fabulous job and part of the cost for that service was paid by our insurance. They cleaned up after themselves and I only found one nail in the driveway. They cleaned up fabulously and did a great job. We would absolutely use them again in the future if needed.

I saw them on Angie’s List and had others recommend them to me so I had contacted them the work. I had a leak in my roof and the job was covered by my insurance company. They worked very hard to get the job done as fast as they could for me. They arrived very early each morning and stayed late each night. They were very good. Everything turned out perfect! I would recommend to anyone.

The contractor replaced the rotten wood, and some shingles. Put some leak-proof material under the new shingles, caulked at various places. He was punctual, professional and thorough. This was a great experience.

The job was finished and paid for, then the roof tiles started lifting on the screen porch. One guy returned, spent 2 hours but didn't fix the problem. Several phone calls later, I was told I wasn't a big priority as my roof wasn't leaking. I am still waiting for the fix, was told the crew would come last Saturday at 8 am, but to let the foreman know if they didn't show. And yes, as you guessed, they didn't . Sorry Dr Roof, the mark of a good company is how they deal with things that go wrong, so far you have failed miserably.

Dr. Roof actually made putting a new roof on my house a much more pleasant experience than I ever could have imagined! Everyone from start to finish answered my questions, explained what to expect, and handled my job in a very professional, organized way. I can?t thank Dr. Roof enough, and the finished product is just what I was looking for. The crew who actually did the work were wonderful, hard-working courteous people ? finishing the job on Friday in a cold, drizzling rain. They went out of their way to protect my landscaping which they could tell was very important to me, obviously did a superb professional job in replacing my roof, but most of all, they worked hard to make the entire process as ?painless? for the homeowner as they could. They methodically went about their work, did not rush to get done, and obviously took pride in doing the job correctly down to the last detail. I must say that of all of the contractors I have had do work for me on multiple houses over the years, they were the best from start to finish! Hector was an excellent on-the-job ?coordinator? as the materials truck always arrived on time to either deliver or pick up unused materials, and the bright red dumpster disappeared from the street just as the guys were finishing the job. You could not have asked for better supervision and timing! I would not hesitate to use Dr. Roof again for any job large or small.

He was here when he said he was going to be here. He did the work quickly. He worked the whole time they were here and showed me pictures that need to be done so I would understand what the damage was. He also identified some additional work that needed to be done by my air conditioning contractor so I was able to schedule that for repair.

Exceptionally well, arrived on time, my husband showed him the leak, he said he could take care of it right then.

Everything was fine. They sent 3-5 people out to do the painting. The only problem we had was that it took them a while to get the job done, and they had to work the day before Christmas to make sure it got done. I thought they were expensive overall. They were very accommodating and the cleanup was pretty good.

They are professional to work with. The workers they sent were good and professional. They have a quick response.

Repairs were done to correct an ongoing problem which has been outstanding for "years". Root cause was poor drainage of rain from the roof. Siding and trim was in bad shape and would have to be replaced. Estimator showed up on time and was very helpful with his insight; he set my expectations accordingly. When asked, he told me that due to this area's cold spells that much work was outstanding and there was a heavy backlog of work for the staff of Dr. Roof. Eventually with the assistance of the administrative staff of Dr. Roof, a specific date was set for the techs to show up and make the needed repairs. The two techs were early and proceeded to remove the damaged siding and trim to determine what was needed to make the repairs. They also removed samples in order to get a good match for the house colors. Upon their return from shopping for supplies they proceeded to make the repairs at a good and effective speed. I was very pleased with finished work. The work had a very good appearance which included a better than expected result with the paint color especially considering the house had some fading since the last paint job was not recent. I do recommend Dr. Roof for those who want excellent work at a good price. My expectations were exceeded. Many thanks to the staff of Dr. Rood. Finally will add that cleanup work on the part of Dr. Roof was done in a superior fashion.

Poor customer service. Dr. Roof's sales rep/supervisor, Thomas S., was quick to come to our house and give an estimate. However, he was very poor on follow through. We wanted to give the job to Dr. Roof based on the price and appearance of expertise, but Dr. Roof lost our business due to Thomas' lack of responsiveness. We had a few more questions and wanted to meet with Thomas once more before signing the contract. Thomas would initially answer a text message or email, but he would not respond afterward. When we tried to schedule another appointment with him, he responded by asking if we had a day preference, but never got back with us after we told him that any day would be fine.

Their estimates was the highest of the three bids I got, although they came very highly rated. The interaction with them was excellent and their bid was very detailed. I just decided to go with another service provider due to the price.

They did a great job and only found a couple of nails sticking up.

I recently wrote a negative review of this company. The company?s CEO immediately contacted me after reading it and apologized for what had happened. He didn?t hide behind any excuses - his only concern was in trying to satisfy a customer. His candor and integrity was impressive. He asked for a second chance and I agreed to his proposal. The work was done and I am now completely satisfied. The crew was prompt, courteous, and very professional. It was clear to me that Dr. Roof places a high value on protecting its reputation. Although our association got off to a rocky start, it is now in good standing. I would not hesitate to use them for future work or to recommend them to others.

We knew that our roof was older. However, when we had an exterminator out to deal with squirrels in the attic, he told us that the roof was damaged. I called Dr. Roof for an estimate because they had a high rating on Angie's List and I had used them for a roof repair years earlier. An appointment was made, and Martin Shepard came out. He was on time, gave me a card, examined our roof, and agreed that it needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate using 3 different grades of shingles. We chose the more expensive architectural shingles because if their longer warranty. They were obviously thicker than the others. A date was set for the job to begin. It happened to be the Monday before the 2nd snowstrom in February. The materials for the job were delivered around 7 AM. They arrived around 7:30 AM, and they put in close to a 12 hour day. The dumpster was delivered around 10 AM, and they ensured that it was placed so that we could still exit the driveway. They could not finish the job in one day, but at the end of the day, the roof was covered either by old or new shingles, no tarps. They cleaned up the area as if the job was finished. Because of bad weather, they were not able to return until the next Monday. Again, they put in close to a 12 hour day and finished the job. Again they cleaned up to where you could not tell they had ever been there. Once a day on both days of the work, a supervisor came by to make sure things were going well, to explain certain aspects of the job to me, and to make sure that things were going to my satisfaction. I was concerned when I learned that they would have to move my Direct TV dish to roof under it. Somehow, they replaced it into the perfect position with no loss of service. I was impressed. I received an invoice my email and was able to pay by check. The following Wednesday, a Dr. Roof carpenter came out and replaced 6 feet of soffet and fachia board that was rotten. He did a great job. The dumpster was removed the Thursday after the job was done on Monday. The man who picked it up swept under where the dumpster has been sitting before he left. Of all the nails used on this job, I have only found 2 for me to pick up. All aspect of this job were handled in a professional manner, and I am very happy with the results.

They showed up on time. Did the work and did not try to up-sell.-Very nice, very professional. I will use them when it's time to put a new roof on my house.

First date of repair was a no-show. Employee showed up un-announced on a Sat. morning. Employee spoke little or no English. After he started work I noticed a young boy 10-12 yrs old climbing the ladder to get on my roof. I stepped out and told the boy not to get on the roof. The man finished working in about 2 hours and left. Two days later during a thunderstorm I noticed a water leak developing inside where the chimney meets the roof line. Outside inspection revealed damaged siding on the chimney. House had been painted one week prior to chimney repair. Damage was obviously done after house was painted. I called Leah at Dr. Roof and explained the problem. I was told "we will look into it and call you back". Never heard a peep from them again. I wish I had hired someone else. This is my first bad experience using a company I found on Angie's List.

Our HOA required us to remove a small rooftop satellite dish when it was no longer needed. Fearing damage to our roof, we decided to hire a professional roofer. Our experience with Dr. Roof was a good one. While the tech they sent out was quite late, he got the job done quickly and charged a fair price.

I can't say enough good things about this company- from quote to clean up, they were fantastic. They constantly keep me up to speed as to project status. Who was coming over, what they'd be working on next, etc. Any little design detail or change that I inquired about was immediately addressed. They never asked for any money until the project was complete, and I was totally satisfied. Honestly, I didn't think companies like this existed anymore.

I have been using their services for about three years. They tried to find the leak, but were unable to do so and I was little disappointment. They have always been professional and done a good job when I have had them come before.
