Dr Roof Atlanta Inc

We used Dr. Roof Atlanta Inc. They were here the beginning of May, 2015. It cost close to $1000. Quality was hard for me to tell because I can't really say what they did fixed the problem or it was really a non issue to begin with. The workers were decent, I mean they came, did their job and left. They pricing and then when they did a job they told me they were going to give me a close out package showing me pictures of exactly what they did on my roof by the account of the fact we had to tell them what they did on my roof without going up there and they did not and that's not necessary that I have to chase them down and eventually I got photos he wasn't necessarily what I expected it to be. I expected them to show me the ripping off the, you know, what's up there, show me the problem, show me how they fixed it with the pictures and then provide him with photos, that's what they said they would do. They didn't do that.

The job went extremely well from start to finish. Thomas who came out to give the estimate was very punctual, professional and comprehensive in his analysis. Roger who actually did the work was diligent, professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We had gotten an estimate from another roofer prior to deciding to go with Dr. Roof. We were so impressed by the attention to detail when we got this estimate that we decided to sign a contract on the spot (we thought we wanted 3 estimates, but changed our minds) Our ranch house was built with a partial ridge vent. To install ridge vents along the entire length of the roof, a supporting structure needed to put in place under the roof where no ridge vent existed. The fist roofer who had come out missed that this needed to be done. Durell Thomas, the gentleman who came from Dr. Roof , took careful measurements for the supporting structure and helped me pick a shingle color in keeping with what I had in mind--a brown that works with the masonry and light brown siding of our house. The previous roof was black. We are delighted with the color and look of the shingles, they look spectacular even in the rain. Laurie from the office worked with me as I needed to keep changing the date for the installation--she didn't make me feel at all bad for all the times I changed the dates. I had sent pictures of plantings all around the house that I had concerns about protecting (I have dozens of hydrangeas not far from the house and a garden immediately in front of the kitchen). As it turns out, most of that was unnecessary. I pointed all the planting out to the crew leader the morning of the job. All of my plants were protected to perfection. The work was done very professionally and systematically and they cleaned the property up wonderfully (no nails!) We could not have been happier. It was an additional surprise to see that they left us a package of spare shingles for future use.

They called me on Wednesday to set up the time they would begin work that Friday. In that conversation, I asked them if I needed to be home for work to be done and they said no. Since I wouldn't be home and I park my car in the garage, I requested that they place the container for debris in a very specific place, on the far left side of the house facing on the side of the house. When I got home around 7:00pm they were still working and I found the dumpster right in the middle of the driveway! When I brought the issue to the quality supervisor’s attention he informed me there was nothing that could be done anytime soon as the company had closed for the day. The next morning, I called the office I believe I reached an answering service who told me no one was available to speak to. I requested my request for a callback to be expedited so I would receive a call back as soon as possible. In the meantime, I do not feel comfortable parking my car on the street unless I have to so I ended up driving around the dumpster, over the grass to get my car in the garage. I ended up hitting the dumpster and damaging my brand new car in the process. That Monday, I received a returned call from Mr. Freelander, the general manager who asked me to tell him about my experience, which I did. He then asked me what my insurance deductible was, and I answered. He then proceeded to say that he thought I was blaming them for the accident and asking them to pay the deductible! I had just answered the questions he asked, never asked him to pay for anything. They ended up offering a $600 credit on the roof job which was appreciated but not asked for. Once the roof was finished they said someone would be by to pick up their things the next day. Two weeks later, their things were still at my home so I finally called the office to ask if anyone was coming by and ask what the next steps were since they had just completed the roof and left. The person I spoke with informed me they should have done a follow up walk through to make sure the roof was up to spec but that had not been scheduled yet. It's like they came, did the job and left! If I wouldn't have called I don't know if I would have ever heard from them again, I hadn't even paid! The sales person was good, I'm pleased with the aesthetics of the roof but the customer service and follow through were not good. We'll be doing the follow up visit soon so I'll learn more of the quality then.

Very prompt response, timely completion of work. Reasonable price. Work done efficiently and with minimal noise or disruption to our routine.

I would use them again in the future.

It went well. They were reliable. I just think they were a little expensive but they did quite a bit of work.

It was very good. They were awesome. They were very, very good. I have no problems with my roof and gutters since then. They were very professional. It was a very good experience.

They were not punctual and they were difficult to get in touch with. They weren't coordinated between the guys in the field and the guys in the office.

They did an excellent job. I think they came out in April, toward the end or the last two weeks of April. They did quite a bit. There were several things that they did on the roof. I am not sure how much they charged us because I didn't take care of it, my husband did. I think that they did a very good analysis of the work that needed to be addressed. They picked out everything and showed it to us so we knew what was wrong with it and then they ordered the product. I think it was less than a week or so, they came back and they spent a great deal of time up there and took pictures to show us what they had fixed and it really looked really good. They did a great job. The price was probably over a thousand dollars and it was fine for as much as they did although we were not up there to see what they were doing. They were great in response. As soon as we called them, they came right out. I have used them two times already.

The service from Dr Roof of Atlanta was okay. They were great, they were excellent workers. What made them good workers was good communications. They never pressured to do any services. They explained things well and seemed very knowledgeable. They actually didn't try to sell us on a new roof, they fixed what was here. We didn't know that and we were planning to buy a new roof. They saved us a lot of money.

They kept getting delayed at first due to weather and other jobs getting backed up. Otherwise fast and careful of our property. Quality control manager didn't come out until after the job was completed so they had to re-do some areas that he found done incorrectly. Once work was corrected no one ever came back out to check it. This caused our job to get put into the "hold" file - in other words the black hole. Never got an invoice. We finally had to call them in order to pay them. But still we are very happy with the work done.

From the quote to the scheduling, everyone at Dr. Roof was very courteous. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to work me in considering the large hail storm that happened in the area the week before. Alberto, the technician, was very professional and did great work. I highly recommend Dr. Roof and will certainly call them again when I need their services.

Since the work was done, I have not detected any new leakage and there has been rain. I am now scheduling repainting of the interior walls affected by the leak. - they were very responsive and quick in coming out for the estimate and in coming out to do the work - EVERYONE, was right on time for every appointment from their sales representative, to their repair guys, to their supervisor who came out and inspected the work - The repairmen (2) arrived on time and completed the work in one full day, staying until they were through. Then they cleaned everything up before they left. - I was given what I believe was a very fair price that was inline with my budget. However, I believe that price is secondary to getting a top notch professional company that knows what they are doing and plans on staying around and not leaving town ahead of the complaints. I know because I bought a new roof and was told I would have to go to court to get them to honor their labor warranty. - I highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or repairs. I believe that you can trust their advice on what actually does need to be done and depend on the quality of their work and their integrity to get it done.

They are very good and very reliable. They are very honest and reasonable in pricing. They do a very good job and they know how to do it well. Workers were very good and cleaned up everything.

Great! Third time I have used Dr. Roof for repairs. All good, so far.

Overall roof installation went well. Pricey, but insurance paid. On down side I had a small gutter repair job I called them on and got no return call. After a couple to attempts, they called, but never gave a quote. So that was disappointing. Maybe job was not big enough for them. i would use again based on quality job on new roof. On new roof "A". On other "C".

Overall it went very well. We had used Dr. Roof before in 2004 to replace our main roof and were satisfied with the work. The porch did not need to be replaced at that time. It did need to be replaced this year. I was impressed with our conversation when two people came over to assess the need. We talked about the porch roof and they also helped me think about why we are having a gutter overflow problem on the section of gutter next to the porch. He helped me visualize the cause of the problem and proposed a couple of alternative ways to address it. We chose to go with the easiest and least expensive fix of removing gutter guards on that section of gutter. We will see if the problem persists and we know that we have other alternatives if it does not fix it. We were kept up to date on the scheduling which changed a few times due to weather and unanticipated complications at a prior job. The roof replacement went smoothly. The work site was cleaned up at the end of the day. The billing worked smoothly and was in line with the contract. It seemed expensive compared to what it would have cost us to add it on to the job 10 years ago but I also understand economy of scale and inflation. It also would only have carried a 10 year warranty instead of the 30 year warranty of the rest of the roof so we may have been replacing it this year anyway even if we had added it on to the prior job.

Overall - satisfied with Dr. Roof and would use them again. Thomas on their team came out on time and was very professional in giving the initial quote. He listened to my concerns about lighting and wanting to keep the symmetrical look of our living room windows etc.. once the skylights were installed. Their pricing wasn't the most expensive but also wasn't the cheapest of the quotes I received. That combined with their reviews on Angieslist made me comfortable moving forward with them. They came out on first day and the cutting roof and installation of lights on exterior went well and took one day. Then they came the following day and did the cutting out from the interior which also went pretty smoothly. Was pretty comfortable with everything up to this point. Had a small issue when the final guy came on last day to finish the sheetrock work on the inside of house which would make edges of ceiling look nice and smooth. He didn't have a ladder tall enough to get to the ceiling so he hadn't been communicated the layout of our house. He had to go to Lowes and get one and come back which ate into his time. He finished everything up and cleaned up perfectly when he was done. Next day when inspecting the work a little more closely I noticed that sheetrock on one window was about 1 inch higher than the other and given the angle of the windows it was noticeable. I sent them pictures and Leigh and the team were right on it. Told me not to pay until they could come back out and rectify, and had the guys back out at the house as soon as my schedule allowed. Now that is what I call customer service!!! I happily paid the final invoice and couldn't be happier with results of the job. Overall - a big fan and would highly recommend Dr. Roof.

He did not honor the coupon. They were basically sub contractors and he said that he has nothing to do with the coupon. I did not know that until he finished half of the work. I would not recommend them.

It has been a while ago and it was absolutely fine. They helped do some small repairs prior to us putting our house on the market. They were timely and within scope. They passed inspection and the house sold and everything is good. They replaced some tiles and put some vent caps on some of our roof vents and fixed a little bit of flashing.

The service was great. It is always great. They are a great company. I would tell friends and family members that they are great.

It worked out fine. I can't get on my roof so I'm assuming. I had no trouble. They were very prompt. They came highly recommended.

They told me certain things so I couldn’t get an architectural roof. They were very honest about it so I went getting the three-tab roofing. They told me that the pitch on the back of the house wouldn’t warranty that and they will cause problems. They were very honest with what they could do or not do. The work turned out great. My interactions with them were good. They were a little more expensive.

They weren't the cheapest quote -- Dr. Roof was somewhere in the middle as far as price goes. But they were the most complete quote. All the little details were addressed. They replaced more plywood panels that I thought we would, but that's ok with me. My roof is shallow angle. We got our new roof and it is great. I felt confident with their work and they earned my respect. Last year I called about a bad spot on the roof that a tree-limb nicked. Someone came out and fixed it at no cost. It WAS a tiny spot affecting two shingle. One tiny thing. They said they'd replace the vent covers with new ones for the roof vents but they didn't. They just spray painted the ones I had. I have no idea why. They were hoping I wouldn't notice, I guess. I noticed.
