This review comes from a very successful tree business staffed with Certified Arborists. We know what a good, safe tree job looks like, and the tree removal on our property by Top Tier was it. If we could give this job 10 stars, we would. Hereâ s why. The estimator was on time, listened to our concerns, and quoted us a reasonable price. The crew was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what needed to be done and when. Every crew member wore appropriate protective safety gear; practiced safe work techniques (for example, both hands on the chainsaw while cutting!) and great teamwork; and watched out for the safety of onlookers. They were careful to protect our nearby shrubs and trees while lowering the large dead branches and trunk wood and then while they were clearing away the logs and debris. Finally, they got the job done quickly, without sacrificing quality or safety. Kudos to Top Tier. Highest possible recommendation.

Top Tier Trees was very professional from the initial estimate through completion. Their arborist was extremely knowledgable and their crew was skilled, hard working and cleaned up completely after the job. They even followed up with a phone call upon completion to ensure everything was done, as promised. A very professional organization.

This is an experienced and honorable company. Because of the efficiency and variety of equipment, it may be more costly, but it is also able to almost surgically remove large trees without damaging landscaping features, etc. When you want it done right, this is who you hire.

Top Tier Trees is the best! Highly recommended! David and Mandy Hall have built an exceptional company. I got a lot of quotes to cut my 12 trees (mostly huge old growth hardwoods) and trim two others. Top Tier was not the least expensive, but very reasonable, and something about David made me keep coming back to their quote, and more so, the advice. David is a certified Arborist who had a MUCH more comprehensive approach to his advice, considering not just sun, shade, safety, and access, as most did, but also tree health, age considerations, competition and codependence, risk management issues and vulnerabilities like torsional stress from uneven weight distribution and splitting of codominant stems. David was also more confident in his and his crew's abilities to handle safety issues. My trees were VERY close to my house, but he did not hesitate. I had a large storm drain with an exposed pipe in the back yard which was vulnerable to trees dropping on it or equipment crossing it. David was the ONLY one to state he could do the work and not damage the drain. Let me tell you, his crew worked like engineers to ensure the integrity of the drain/pipe and my house. They could drop a tree on a dime in slow motion and make sure it did not go anywhere except where it fell. AMAZING! David and I had a solid and clear plan going in, but there was one glitch during the work, because there always is, right? But know this, whatever happens, before moving on, stop and call David. He WILL answer, consult with the crew, and set things straight to stay on track with the plan. Finally, David and Mandy value customer satisfaction, have a focus on recycling or reusing tree waste if trees must be cut, and most importantly gives his staff the respect, trust, and support they deserve. I have no hesitation to recommend Top Tier Trees.

I am the Facilities Manager at the Catholic Church of St. Ann and I was tasked with the job of finding a tree company that would come out to do some cleanup of our property. On a random day of the week Kevin stopped by because he was in the neighborhood and we talked about our needs and how exactly their company could help us. I was so impressed with what they had to offer and knowing Top Tier Trees did alot of work at other local churches was a plus for me. The following week Kevin and David came by and walked through the campus and made their recommendations on what they thought needed to get done. I talked about what we could actually do for this project and they both immediately agreed that they could work with us. A few days later we had our contract in hand and the crew came out to work on the project. The crew was so professional and so respectful about what was going on at the church that day. Once done, they cleaned up and double checked all areas. I highly recommend Top Tier Trees to anyone needing to get trees trimmed or removed for a reasonable price with excellent customer service. We will continue to use them for our future needs on the property.

Top Tier came out and provide me with a quote for the work that I was requesting to be done and made me feel comfortable with having them do the work. They came out when scheduled and did an outstanding job and left everything clean when they left. I would use them again and would highly recommend them.

Top Tier Trees is well named. They do excellent work and exceeded my expectations. They responded to my request for a quote the next business day and sent over an arborist within a few days, who arrived on time and provided a written detailed quote with photographs the next day. Erin was very knowledgeable and readily offered advice on what was needed and not needed. The quoted was reasonable and there was no request for an increase after the contract was signed. The work was scheduled within two weeks and the crew arrived ready to work early in the morning. The work was completed, including thorough clean up, in early afternoon. This job included removal of one tree and multiple trees trimmed in my front yard and multiple trees removed and multiple trimmed in my back yard. My back yard is not easily accessed and two of the trees were massive so a very large crane was used to remove all. Since a basketball goal interfered with the crane, it was removed at no extra charge. The clean up was excellent with little noticeable damage to my yard.

Just had Top Tier Trees do some work at my house - they pruned/reduced the weight of several trees and took one tree down that posed a threat to my master bedroom. They did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them. I found David, the owner (and certified arborist) to be honest and candid in his recommendations ... I never felt as if he was just trying to sell me something just to make more money. I always felt he was making an honest recommendation based on what the situation called for. And David or others I reached out to at the company were always timely in their responses to me and any questions I had. What I also really like about the company is that they were able to prune and/or cut down the trees and take the branches and logs away on the same day ... unlike the company my neighbor used that used a 3rd party who came back several days later to do this (so the logs sat in her yard and then up on the street for many days before getting hauled away). Not the case with Top Tier Trees as they own all of their own equipment to do the job from end to end. Will definitely use Top Tier Trees again if needed!

Great performance today removing a 70" maple between two houses, and removing 3 50" birch trees in backyard. Crew worked together as a team to help each other. It was so well coordinated with each member knowing what to do next. Matthew (sales rep) was knowledeable and very helpful. I selected Top Tier Trees for their experience, full insurance, emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction AND competitive pricing. I received 8 quotes and talked with 15 companies. They work quickly, safely, and do a five star job.

Bottom line: This was the ONLY company that was able to obtain proper permitting for this major job in Brookhaven. Erin was fantastic to work with and the crew was extremely professional and courteous. I will use them for any future projects. I worked with four different companies prior to contacting Top Tier Trees for a major project at my property. I live in the city of Brookhaven which has fairly strict requirements for obtaining a permit and even though each of the previous companies told me they could take care of it, each of them ended up falling through and stopped returning my calls. One day I was driving through my neighborhood and saw a tree removal permit sign in a yard that Top Tier Trees had been able to obtain. I contacted them and Erin was able to come out the next day. She walked the property with me, consulted on what trees should come out, and made extensive notes. We eventually aligned on a list of 26 trees and she got to work with the Brookhaven Arborist. Erin was very diligent and even got the arborist to come out to my house and walk the property with her. The Brookhaven Arborist agreed that my property needed to be an exception to the normal â  Two trees per 18 monthsâ  rule the city has in place and authorized a permit. The crew was extremely professional when they came to complete the job and answered any questions that I had. I cannot recommend this company enough.

We received 3 quotes to have 4 trees removed from our backyard. Some unique features of this job: 1) we live on a golf course, so coordination and communication was paramount; 2) we want to use these trees for furniture, flooring, etc and as such needed them cut in 12 foot sections; and 3) the mill we used is in West GA, so needed trees transported there. Top Tier Trees' (TTT) was the only firm that gave us confidence that each of these conditions would be met...not only that but their bid was the lowest of the 3. Easy decision & the right decision. I read another review on TTT that described their team as a race car pit crew - great and appropriate description as each man performs his job beautifully. David Hall TTT's owner came by during and after the job to make sure we were satisfied. We were very pleased with all of their services including tree removal, stump grinding, fence removal / replacement, and pressure washing. In essence, could barely tell they had been there.
