Not good, had waited months to get this appointment for a cleaning, and was not able to get the work done. I was unemployed at the time, so couldn't afford to get the deep cleaning done that they insisted that I needed. I had dental insurance that was supposed to have covered not only a cleaning, but x-rays as well through Humana at the time of the appointment. I paid my co-pay at the time of the appointment, and assumed insurance would have covered the "cleaning" and the x-rays, as there was nothing else I was told would be due when I left the office. I changed to a new insurance plan on 1-1-16, and in February 2016, got a bill from Sprayberry saying that I now had to pay for the x-rays, since their contract with the Humana dental plan specified that I had to keep the Humana insurance for a year, or Humana would not pay for any work I had had done during the time I had been covered (June 1, 2015-Dec 31, 2015). I had never seen any information like that in my dental enrollment contract with Humana nor heard of anything like that and disputed being billed for a covered service when I had insurance at the time of the appointment. I tried talked to the billing person at Sprayberry, who happens to be the dentist's wife, and she refused to discuss it, saying that I needed to take it up with Humana. I took it up with Humana customer service, who at first said I did not have to pay, and to send the situation to their appeals dept., they told Sprayberry the same thing. I then got a letter three months later from Humana, saying I would have to pay the dentist because I did not keep the insurance for 12 months (even though I never saw this paperwork from Humana when I enrolled online in their program). Meanwhile I continued to be billed monthly by Sprayberry, PLUS interest, on this bill. It was impossible to work with Sprayberry's dental office since they refuse to even discuss writing off this charge for x-rays that I don't even have, nor could use, due to the cost of their deep cleaning services, nor was having the x-rays something I would have ever agreed to have done, had I known that I had to later pay for them just because I chose another insurance provider. It would have been cheaper for me to stay with Humana for 6 more months than to pay this old x-ray bill. I am now being threatened with collection agency by Sprayberry, if I don't pay them $280 for x-rays. I would never recommend this company, nor have any services done here.

Had been going to Sprayberry for a year or so per in our network + above
all , Dr Anderson who was truly an honest guy and a very good dentist . He has
left Sprayberry Dental .
One particular office clerk (Lisa) was
quite rude to myself and my wife , a couple examples - once when after
we had switched over to their office and the insurance company had
mistakenly not put us on their roster but instead on another office
roster she in so many words accused me of trying to 'get free dental
service ' and then later said "ok I understand , sometimes people dont
have enough money for dental insurance " .. you get fired where Im at
for talking that way to anyone apparently not at sprayberry ; likely
some type of relationship ongoing .... Later the same lady when I
requested a ($5 value!!) tooth kit that Dr Anderson had recc'd she went
literally flying across the office with raised voice to make sure I
could have this tooth kit and not pay for it ... very attractive ! ..
final straw with them was when they tried to overcharge me or a
particular procedure and dramatically swore up and down that the actual insurance
benefit$ sheet - which had been up dated for the 2014 year - was wrong
and that THEY f course were right ... fact is they got caught
overcharging which I would highly suspect have been doing to others for
many many years . They even brought in the Heavy Artillery some older scowl
faced lady from upstairs who obviously ran the show and was supposed to
run me off .But didnt......Their collective outrage that I would actually bring in
the documented insurance benefits sheet for them to own up to only raised my suspicions
more ..... I called the insurance company and they agreed firmly and
immediately ... i was issued a refund check from Sprayberry Dental
within a week ....I also filed a formal complaint with the insurance
company and suggested that Sprayberry Dentals books be audited for
benefits compliance .
Again , I suspect the dentistry is at least
acceptable but the office environment is awful . We found another
dentist where NONE of these problems have occurred .

I went in for a first time visit and they insisted that I needed a and quot;deep cleaningand quot; requiring two additional costly visits. The hygienist discovered no issues or cavities, however the younger Dr. Knauer insisted that I had some tooth decay in one of my teeth that required an immediate filling. I could see nothing on the xray to indicate that this tooth was different than any other, however. But I did not think to argue or get a second opinion in my drugged state.
So they took me to a different room and he drilled out my tooth, and scored the outside of one of my molars during the process. I did not discover the damage to my molar until later when my mouth was no longer numb. While he was drilling, he kept commenting that the wall of my tooth was getting pretty thin and that he may need to do a crown. That's when I got more suspicious and realized that he was a crook just trying to take advantage of my dental insurance.

I believe he's a criminal and should be put in jail. I'm still determining the most appropriate action to take.

They're good, fairly though, physically efficient and they're impersonal so they're not personable. If your looking for someone to be personable in dental office you won't probably find a lot of that there but they do get you in, they get you out and pay attention to detail when they're working at your teeth. The people that work on teeth are fantastic but the people on the office are stress and you can tell.

Sprayberry was amazing. Their professionalism was obvious from the greeting at the front counter and only got better during the appointment. The evaluation was honest, straight-forward and affordable. The subsequent treatment was first class. I couldn't be a happier patient!

I love Sprayberry Dental. I don't usually say that about a dentist but this one is special. They do a great job. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I have been to Sprayberry Dental for cleanings etc and always had excellent experiences. One of the things that I like best about this practice is that THEY DONand quot;T TRY TO GET YOU TO HAVE EXPENSIVE PROCEDURES UNLESS TRULY NECESSARY. This review may seem a bit over the top but here is the explanation. I came into Sprayberry Dental expecting to have to have a crown replaced and perhaps a re-do on a root canal that I had done about a year ago. The dentist examined my tooth, took x rays and told my to try a plain toothpaste (with no whiteners etc.) to see if it was just a tooth sensitivity. I brushed with plain toothpaste for 1 week and all of my pain was gone. The cost was only that of an office visit. They always try the easiest/least expensive possibility and then go from there. I definitely recommend them to everyone that I know.

It's clean and they are thorough. They are good about getting you scheduled and they are on time for the most part. They appear to know what they are doing. I've been using them for 8 years or more. They are good with making sure they are thorough with the cleaning and exam.

I feel that they do a good job. I feel they were polite. They treated me well. I got really cold because I was there for a long time and I got so cold that they got a heated blanket and put it on me, that I thought was very nice. As for availability I did not have any trouble making an appointment. I will use them again.

The dental hygienists were great but we had an experience with one of the doctors that made us leave this practice. He cursed at a hygienist and was disrespectful to her in front of my husband and that was a deal breaker for us.

The staff at Sprayberry Dental is efficient. Maybe a bit too efficient. The reason I rated them an overall C is because it feels like a factory. It's good to never have a wait, but their manner is as cold as their tools. The chairs are lined up in a row without walls or dividers between them. It feels like the keep asking to extract my wisdom teeth just to get more business. It's probably just a standard recommendation, since they are hard to clean, but the atmosphere puts the wrong image in my mind. Because of that, I'll probably get a second opinion for any serious dental work they suggest. I'll probably keep going since they are close, do good work, and are quick. Don't like going to the dentist anyway, so getting in and out is probably good for me.
