sHe replaced expensive gutters and came out personally several times to go over the contract, concerns, and has integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness that is hard to find in this business or most businesses for that matter. Damage found was repaired at a very reasonable price and I would recommend Findlay Roofing to anyone. He deserves the highest awards for his personal interest in completing the project from beginning to end. I can not stress this enough. You will be in good hands I promise. The key is to make sure you understand what they are going to do and what problems could be found like rotting plywood. He will replace a several boards usually at no cost, depending if you get a Angie's List deal, and is cheap on the plywood and installation. A+++ Findlay roofing specializes in architectural lifetime shingle, but they will do cheaper shingle for folks that cannot afford the expense. If you home is smaller and you want standard 25 year shingle, that would be cheaper on Angie's List ONLY. Usually roof cover with minor repairs runs $10,000-$15,000 as you calling out of the Yellow Pages.

Let me start out by saying that I loved my experience with Findaly Roofing! I screened and received three quotes for my roof and gutters. The company that stood out among the crowd was Findlay Roofing Company! Chris Stull from Findaly came out to my house first and gave me a very informative quote. The information I learned during our visit proved to be very valuable when I screened the following roofing company's. One company's representative knew less than I did about the roofing process and how your insurance handles claims. Findlay was wonderful to deal with from my initial estimate provided by Chris Stull to payment with Cindy Lou. Findaly came on the day schedule and installed everything as planned. The crew did a great job! You couldn't even tell they had been there after they were done. They did a thorough cleaning job. My new roof and gutters look amazing! We upgraded to architectural shingles which really make a difference in the appearance of our house. If you want an honest company that does a great job, charges a fair price and is friendly to work with than choose Findlay!! They are a five start company!! I recommended them to my parents and they did their roof and gutter as well...another satisfied customer!

My hip roof is @ 32 squares in size on a one story 1961 ranch, with a 5 in 12 pitch, with one layer of 20 year Tamko shingles that were fifteen years old laid over a decking of one by sixes. (Advice on the Internet suggests that fifteen years is a good life expectancy for 20 year shingle in Georgia and I prefer to be proactive with maintenance rather than waiting for an emergency to happen at some inopportune time.) The new roof is Owen Corning TruDefinition architectural 50 year shingles in Shasta White Energy Star, laid over felt paper, with 230 ft. of starter shingle and 230 ft. of drip edge. A complete ridge vent was installed and the old power fan and vents were removed and the holes closed. A broken HVAC vent pipe base, collar, cap, and pipe were replaced and new collars and flashing were installed around other vent pipes and the electric pole. The original estimate was $7595.00. 70 feet of replacement wood added $245.00, and the sales tax was $193.20 for a total of $8033.20. The shingles and trailer/dumpster were delivered on Thursday, July24. Friday, 7:30 AM, July25. Crew arrived right on time. The crew finished tearing off the old shingles, laying the felt paper, and sending the shingle bundles to the rooftop by lunchtime or so ,and before 4:30 PM the crew had finished putting on the new shingles and had cleaned up and left. The workers were very efficient and the new roof looks wonderful! Everyone at Findlay with whom I have talked or dealt, from Alex, the gentleman who came out to give me the estimate, to Tawny in the billing office and Kelly on the phone, has been extremely courteous and helpful, making the experience a pleasant one. Monday, July 28, the trailer/dumpster was taken away.

Our home is 16-17 years old, with the original roof. It was beginning to show it's age, so we had Findlay Roofing come out for an estimate. We decided to completely replace the roof with Findlay. We are very happy with the end result, and the overall process. I received a call and visit for the quote the same day I filled out the online inquiry form. Alex was very accommodating in answering our questions over the next couple of days before we made the decision. With the $600 Angie's List coupon, we were even able to upgrade to the architectural shingles essentially for free (the upgrade was around $600). On the day of the job, the guys showed up early and were ready to go with no issues. It did take 2 days, and we did need to ask them to pick up some debris that was in the neighbor's yard after the first day (since they don't clean up until the job is done), which they did. They did a fairly decent job of cleaning up when the job was done in our yard, but we did find pieces of debris and nails in the grass in the days afterwards. Overall, we were pleased with the final product and working with Findlay!

They came out as scheduled and completed the work the same day. I had a small issue that they happily came out to check. I found them to be very responsive. The warranty department is easy to work with. My roof looks great.

I contacted the company via the website in the evening after 9 PM and received a call first thing the next morning. He was able to do the roof inspection that same afternoon. The report and pictures were emailed to me by 6 PM. I appreciate Cody's responsiveness to our situation. (buying a house) It helped us negotiate with the sellers. I would use Findlay's again when and if I ever have the need.

Best experience I have ever had with a contractor, very knowledgable, professional and experienced. I will recommend this company to all of my friends and neighbors and will use them in the future if the need arises.

Excellent service through quote and purchase process. They were not the least expensive, but were reasonably priced and knowledgeable. Advised them I would be seeking additional quotes...usually get sales pressure when mentioning this, but they were great. No pressure. Work done just a week after we decided to go with Findlay. Only complaint would be that we found a handful of screws and a couple of large nails after gutters were finished. Clean up could have been a bit more thorough. Other than that, we were very pleased.

Their customer service was outstanding and we set up a fairly complicated communication system and they were more than willing to comply and take care of everything. It was a very difficult job a 90 degree roof. It was a complicated job and they did very well. I recommend them all the time.

Our job was completed in one day. Clean up was great. They were incredibly hard working and conscientious. We are very happy with the new roof.

I solicited quotes from 3 angie's list A rated roofers, Findlay has the best price. Overall the process is no fuss, their rep came out did the measuring, estimates, and the work is done without me on site. Happy with the overall experience. M

They did a fantastic job! I picked the roof color, and Shane did the estimate detailing each charge. He also mentioned they were giving a discount through Angies list, which I had not noticed and would not have even questioned it had Shane not mentioned it. They called a couple days later and set up an date for installation (weather permitting). The arrived when they said they would, installed the new roof and cleaned up the area where the dumpster was in the driveway. I'd like to mention they use a dumpster on wheels so that it does not damage the drive way when being installed or removed. I had a beautiful new roof in one day and it was great to see a company actually show up when they say they will and not have any add-ons to the price. I did get several quotes, and Findlay was in line with and even less expensive than some of the other companies.

They did a great job, everything came together just as they said it would. The estimate was very reasonable as well.

Just wonderful! One of the best business dealings I have ever done. They were punctual, honest, hard working, courteous, professional and I was extremely pleased with their work.

Findlay Roofing had their trash dumpster in and blocking our driveway for several days, continually saying they were going to start. Weather was not a factor. When they finally did start, they were initially shut down by the police because they were not familiar with city ordinances. This of course caused further delays. We had already postponed departing on Spring Break because we had wanted to be present when the work was complete, but we finally did leave town. When we returned, Findlay Roofing had not put on the type roof we had requested. We were VERY specific; we wanted the same type roof as our neighbors (which Findlay themselves had recently installed.) They had looked up and verified the name of the neighbor and type of roof. When we complained, they said they would put another roof on top of the one they had just installed, and would "do it at their cost." I was able to find the EXACT same supplies on the internet in about 5 minutes, and they were cheaper than what I was being quoted by Findlay. I believe we met with and/or spoke with 5 different people during the entire process. I would be very, very careful doing business with Findlay Roofing.

The guys got to work right away and spent maybe 30 minutes. At the time I felt relieved that I could get this done and satisfy my insurance company. Once finished, they informed that the shingles would start to lay flat at the roof heats up. I informed my insurance company that the work had been done and they came out to reinspect a couple of weeks later. The shingles never did lay flat and they continue to deny me coverage. This should be a very simple thing to fix and for $250 I feel like I've been swindled. I have since hired another company off of Angie's List to install the chimney cricket who had better pricing and they said they would take care of any buckled shingles at no cost.

I would NOT recommend this roofing company! I was out of town the day they scheduled to replace my roof. I received a call stating that they needed to replace 22 sheets of roof decking. I asked that they send pictures to show each decking that had to be replaced and agreed that they replace them. My house is less than 10 years old with no signs of exposed decking so I was a little leary but because they had already started on the house I told them to go ahead as long as I would receive pictures of the wood damage. They agreed. It was also agreed upon that they would stack the damage wood and I never saw evidence of that either. When I got home, I went into the attic to count the pieces of decking that had been replaced. It appeared that at most, 7 sheets had been replaced, not the 22 I was charged for. I have also done the math based on the square footage shown and the decking and again, at most, it would be 7, not the 22 claimed. I have continuously requested photos to document what was replaced and all I have received were ones taken from a cell phone that only showed a small portion of my house taken from different angles. To date, I have not received additional pictures, only a threat to place a lien on my house, if I do not pay the full amount charged to replace those 22 boards. I would NOT recommend using this company, however, if you do, I recommend that you be at the property and pay close attention the entire time they are working. I do not trust this company.

Everything was excellent about it. They were here early in the morning just like they said and completed the entire roof in one day. It was a crew of 5 people and they were done by 7:30 at night. They cleaned up well after themselves. The price was a little bit more than we expected but we had to have the boards replaced which elevated the cost. That was not their fault.

I received bids from 8 roofing companies. Findley's pricing was in the middle. The prices obtained were higher because of the materials I specified to be used. This was not an insurance job. After reviewing the owens corning web site I decided to have a higher quality roof installed along with new 6" gutters. I also decided to replace the existing two 4'x4' skylights with new units. Findley was the last company I received a bid from. Tony was professional and knowledgable . Pricing was good for the quality of the products and services they provided. The roof I replaced was the original and 18 years old. The decking on the existing roof had wood rot in many of the eves . 13 sheets of plywood was replaced. They installed water and ice shield on all the eves and valleys on the roof. They also used DeckArmor underlayment which is much better protection under the shingles than felt paper. Drip edges were installed on all eves to protect from wood rot and animals entering the attic through the gap in the decking and fascia board. Rigid ridge vents were installed the entire length of all ridges. Existing turtle vents, power vent and turbines were removed. The installation team did a great job installing new flashing on the dormers and fireplace . They installed the flashing under the stucco on the dormers avoiding having to flash over the stucco which does not look very good. They did a good job attended to the little details resulting in a very nice job. They install new rubber boots on all vent pipes.The installation team was professional and completed the roofing job in one day. Clean up was excellent. The gutters were installed a few days later. I was please with there work and would recommend them to anyone. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and Findley uses their own installation teams who have a lot of experience. They have enough work to keep the crews busy so they have good quality control. They also are one of the larger roofing contractors in Georgia. They get preferred prices on shingles from their supplier due to the volume they purchase which they take advantage of to stay very competitive .

I hired Findley before I was an Angie's List Member. They matched the price of any competitor bids I received. Quality work, crew was polite and VERY hard working. They finished my roof in less than 2 days and left the place immaculate. I liked their "dumpster" which was their own trailer, rather than the tradition dumpster which could damage the area dropped. It was picked up the next day. Great guarantee, though I have yet to have any issues.
