I wasn't actually home so they made an appointment to come by while I was at work and left me the estimate. I remember two of them came that day. They were the highest one I got for the price. There's nothing wrong with them, I just decided that I wasn't going with their estimate.

Dave arrived at our home for estimate on time and professional. Explained in detail what he would do to repair the hole in our roof caused by a previous owner's Satellite Dish on roof. The hole was allowing rain to get in. Dave provided us with a written estimate. We hired Dave to perform the work and we are pleased that we did. He repaired roof and removed all debris associated with the repair.

Simply a fantastic experience with Findlay Roofing. As an out of town home owner, I am glad that I found and used a company that I can trust with peace of mind. Findlay roofing first impressed me with their most competitive quote among a few I got and their quote contains most technical details. In comparison, their written quote along shows me their professionalism and honesty with no gimmicks. It took a year since their quoting for me to make a decision to go ahead with my re-roofing project, and when I told them my decision, it was already Christmas and holiday season 2014. Findlay not only honored their quoted price over a year ago, but also timely scheduled my re-roofing project during the holiday season. My communications with their staff were always effective and helpful, which gave me an impression that all their staff were doing their best to address their customers' questions and concerns. The project was completed three days before the new year and I was not able to be on the site during the day. According to my tenant , their team arrived on time and the job was professionally completed according to the contract in the same day. To ensure that there is no more leaking, their team dismantled an area above the front porch and rebuilt/repaired it before laying down the shingles. They also added flashing to the existing gutter to avoid possible damage that may be caused by water overflowing from the gutter. Despite all their detailed professional work, they kept their price exactly to the initial agreement and there were no hidden fees and they did not charge for replacing damaged decking. I've certainly had a wonderful experience with Findlay Roofing and felt lucky to have chosen them. I'll have no hesitation to go back to Findlay when I have a roof related need in the future and will be glad to recommend Findlay to my friends.

I contacted them via the web site, asked them to get in touch and gave them my contact numbers, told them I was impressed with their reviews and their measured responses to their critics and wanted to do business with them. They responded a full month later with a "thank you for your inquiry" message and nothing further. Based on their reviews, I'm guessing they are a very good roofing company but based on other reviews and my experience, I'm also guessing that dealing with customers on the internet is probably not something they are particularly good at. They should fix that. I'm not mad at them but in order to make Angie's List work, folks need to post up honest comments about their experiences so others will know that if you want to get a new roof from Findlay (and they do sound like a good company) , don't even think about dealing with them online, you probably need to deal with them the old fashioned way and give them a call. I just like the time saving aspect of dealing initially online with trustworthy folks which is why I use Angie's List and have, for the most part, been very happy with the experiences as a result.

Great, right from the start. I called and made an appointment for someone to come out as look at the scope of work and give me an estimate. Chris arrived right on time, we spoke about what I wanted done and then he inspected the roof. Chris was very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and gave me a complete packet of information, so that I could make an informed decision. He sent me my estimates and we set a time for the work to be done. He also let me know what work should be done first. The crews arrived as scheduled. Everyone was polite, considerate, helpful and answered any questions I had along the way. The work was done in a timely manner, the crew seemed to be well organized. Clean up was great, especially with all the nails, considering I have dogs. The house is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. It ended well. We found Finley Roofing on Angie's list. They was the first time we used Angie's list for contractors. We decided to get Finley Roofing as the rating on Angie's list was really good. They sent a guy over to my house and did the evaluation. I accepted and the work was performed. At beginning, I wasn't happy because the roof continued leaking after they were "fixed". I called the guy back over. He was responsive and came repeatedly 4 or 5 times in a span of 8 months. But the leaks weren't fixed. I guess it was partially my fault because I kept on going after the same person. Finally I gave up and called the company. They immediately sent another more experience roofer over. He was able to diagnose the problems and provided a quote. Although I had to pay extra for Finley Roofing to fix the leaks, I think it was worth it. They worked with me on the price, which I think is fair. They performed the work on time and this time, the leaks are FIXED. Although the first experience wasn't good. But I think the company has high integrity and did the right thing to recover their original miss. I think that's all I can hope for. I would recommend the company to anyone who has roof issues. Integrity is everything to a business.

They were prompt to provide an estimate. They were not the lowest estimate nor were they the highest. The estimate provided was very detailed and thorough which I appreciated. They completed the work satisfactorily and without issue. They could have easily told us that we needed a new roof for thousands of dollars more...but they didn't. They recommended we fix our existing roof and we had additional life left in ours. Their honesty was refreshing and I will definitely use them in the future because of that.

Project was completed on time and at the agreed upon price. Sales team and workers all arrived at the expected times and understood the nature of the work to be done. Post work cleanup was handled well.

Honestly I can't say enough about Findlay Roofing. From the minute their sales rep Tony came out and gave me a quote to when they cleaned up the job site and left this company was great! They communicated every step to me which I couldn't of been happier with. They notified us when the trailer and materials were coming, notified me when to expect the crew and followed up 5 minutes after the crew left to ensure everything went fine. Honestly they are the best contractor we have worked with during our renovation and I would 100% recommend them again in the future. ROOF ROOF! is the best!

The gentleman completed the job quickly (before I got home from work). They cleaned up after themselves. There was a followup miscommunication and they were very responsive and solved the issue promptly.

Our experience with Findlay was mostly satisfactory. Their representative, Shawn Dawson, who gave us the initial estimate, was thorough with his information, patiently handled all my questions, and inspired more confidence than the representatives from other companies. We have very steep pitched peaks which caused one other roofer to simply say that he couldn?t handle the job. But the Findlay crew of eight, supervised by José, was efficient, hard-working and capable. José was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The crew appeared when scheduled, worked long hours, and were thorough with their clean-up. Another crew appeared after the roof was completed to do wood repair work on two dormers. My only complaint was that after paying $13,200 for the re-roofing job, we were still left with a major hole from a water leak in our dining room ceiling that the company refused to fix; the office person said that they ?had no one who could do that work,? although I found out later this was untrue. Although I would have paid whatever they decided to charge for this small related job, I was told I needed to go elsewhere for someone to do that. This left a bad taste, though in every other respect the re-roofing experience was a good one. I would recommend this company.

Crew arrived promptly, and Ben, the boss, asked me to walk around and point out any details or areas of concern. He was friendly, gave good attention to detail, and answered all my questions with thorough explanations. The crew started in the morning, and had the whole job thoroughly and beautifully done by afternoon. I have a big two story house, so there was a lot of work to do. When the job was done, Ben asked me to walk around the house with him and make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The new gutters can never rust, Ben designed them to expedite the water flow for better draining, and they look beautiful,enhancing the appearance of my home greatly--looks like high-grade crown molding all around my roof! Again, I had gotten quotes from other companies, but honestly, no one offered this level of quality for this price--they couldn't beat Findlay! Since I was so pleased (had such a great experience) with Findlay when they replaced my roof, and also when they power-washed my house, restored my deck and painted my fence, I contacted Findlay to give me a quote on my gutter replacement. Once again, I wasn't disappointed. I am very pleased with the service and the price. And again, Findlay's after-job clean-up is the very best! I recommend Findlay Roofing for any gutter replacement you may need. Let them give you a quote--and if you are actually comparing apples to apples, I bet you'll choose Findlay like I did. If you do choose Findlay, you will not be disappointed--AND you couldn't do business with better people.

Everything went great. Armando came out and did a thorough walk around with e, making suggestions, and explaining every facet of the job to be done. On the day of the job Armando and his crew arrived promptly, and did a thorough and professional job. They also did a high very quality job, and thorough clean-up afterward. I couldn't ask for more. They were easy to work with, and they had a supervisor who remained on-scene until all work was done to my satisfaction. My house, deck and fence look beautiful! I'm glad I used Findlay Roofing for this job, I got other quotes from other companies, but no one else could beat Findlay's quality or price. If you need this kind of work done, make sure to call Findlay Roofing and let them give you a quote. You'll probably choose them for the same reasons I did. If you do, you'll be a very satisfied customer just like I am.

Shane, the sales rep, did an excellent job of presenting the services and materials offered, detailed explanation of the job and thoroughly detailed answers to all my questions. I had gotten seven quotes on this job from seven other roofing companies, and Shane's presentation of Findlay Roofing's service, materials, etc. was head and shoulders above the rest. Not only was Findlay's standards, quality and references better than the others, but Shane quoted me the lowest price as well. Needless to say, I chose Findlay Roofing to repair and replace my roof. The Findlay crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date. Instead of a heavy metal industrial dumpster dragged across my driveway, leaving scrapes and marks, etc., Findlay had a dumpster mounted on rubber tires to hold the debris from the job (I believe they are the only company to provide this feature). The crew supervisor introduced himself, and remained on scene until the job was completely done, always available to answer my questions, etc. They covered my shrubs and the area around the house with big lightweight tarps to protect everything. Their tarps were attached to the eaves of the house, extending out and over the plants so no weight would be on my shrubs or flowers. The crew started work right away that morning, and by the late afternoon the job was done, the tarps were removed, and the entire area was completely clean. They picked up even the tiniest bits of debris, and went over my lawn numerous times with magnetic sweepers to make sure not even one nail was left behind. I mean the area was emaculate! The supervisor asked me to do a "walk around" and make sure I was 100% satisfied with the job and the clean-up. It was perfect. No one would believe I'd just had my entire roof replaced. The roof looks beautiful! I couldn't be happier. I can whole-heartedly recommend Findlay Roofing for the reasons mentioned above. Best quality, best service, attention to detail, and last but not least--the very best price! Every person I talked to at Findlay was friendly, helpful and service-oriented. These are good people, and great to do business with. Believe me, you can't go wrong choosing Findlay Roofing.

Findlay did a great job on our roof, and for a fair price. Our install was pushed back one day, which is understandable. The crew was professional and courteous and worked hard to complete the job on time.

On the day they replaced my roof, the crew arrived before sun up. As soon as the sun came up they were in motion spreading tarps around the house to catch the debris. Then it was as if a roofing machine descended upon the house. And a few hours later, I had a new roof. Watching them work was simply amazing.

They did a nice job. Workers were always on time and left the site clean each day (it took 2.5 days). I still have yet to find a nail on the ground. Gave them a B on responsiveness just because they took a day longer to call me back to schedule the work to be done and the dumpster sat in the driveway I day longer than I thought. Pretty minor issues though. I would definitely recommend them and will likely use them for some other work as I think they have a division that does remodeling.

Everything starts with the salesman. If he doesn't perform, you can expect the same from the rest of the crew. The salesman, Cody Radtke, was wonderful. He did a great job, and so did everyone else.

The attitude of the customer service manager Marcella is even worse than the quality of the work that they did with roof installation. The last company you want to hire , whether it is replacement or repair. Call elsewhere - plenty of members with good reviews.

They did great. I am extremely pleased.They are neat and I highly recommend them, The office staff was friendly and professional.

I emailed the company on 8/26 and never received a response.

I am big on customer service and that's just what I received with Findlay Roofing. From day one, I felt like I was taken care of and my business mattered. Shane Dawson who came out to assess my roof is so friendly and answered all my many questions. Findlay Roofing is a family owned business but not everyone there is in the family, which did not matter, because after speaking to several of the employees I feel like they were all part of the family and made me that way too. I rec'd a quote from another roofing company and Findlay Roofing beat their price by over $3000 dollars. I believe that's because Findlay Roofing does not have their assessors work on commission so they are able to offer the best prices and I couldn?t believe the great price to upgrade to Architectural Shingles. I would highly recommend Findlay Roofing (and already have)!!!.

Given the many excellent ratings this company has received, I expected a good experience, but there were problems with the project from beginning to end. On Thursday afternoon, the day before roofing was to begin, I was informed by the office that I could expect a crew of eight or nine working under crew chief A, but the next day a crew of five showed up under crew chief B. As a result, the project was not completed in one day, as I had been led to expect, but took all day Friday, all day Saturday, and part of Monday. To be fair, it did rain for about an hour on Friday. Another problem that arose is that the new skylight to be installed was not ready when the job began. No one at Findlay informed me of this until the crew chief did at the end of the day on Friday. Had I known about this delay, I would not have spent Thursday evening putting down a tarp in the master closet and moving all our clothes to other closets in the house. When the skylight finally did arrive the following Friday, it was the wrong size. So not only was there roofing rework to be done, but modifications had to be made to the roof cutout and the sheet rock inside the house. (I just hope this does not lead to future problems.) Due to the rework, arrangements had to be made for inside trim work and painting to be completed the following Monday. Next I was billed for about $130 more than the ?total amount due? on the proposal. When I called the office, the billing clerk sent me a corrected invoice, but once again I had to spend my time straightening out errors and problems caused by Findlay. Finally, when I paid my bill and received the 10-year leak-proof warranty in the mail, I noticed that it was transferrable for a period of only ninety days. I had been led to believe by my sales representative that it was transferrable anytime within the 10-year period. When I complained about being misinformed, someone from Findlay did call and apologize for this oversight and offer to extend the transferrable period to one year. I was hoping that Findlay might offer some reduction in price for all the trouble I experienced, but the one-year transferable warranty was all I was offered. I want to add that the crew that installed my roof seemed very experienced and efficient; it was not their fault that the skylight was not delivered on time. And I finally did receive an apology from someone at Findlay, but only after the project was over and I had complained.

I was very impressed with the usual stuff (punctuality, quality of work, clean-up, etc.) but the real test of a contractor is when there's a dispute, and how that is dealt with. There was, and it was dealt with professionally and promptly That is why I would, and will, hire them again for our rental property.
