I am sad to say that this florist is a POOR example of the beauty that can be created with flowers and a worse example of good customer service, especially from a local business that has been around for nearly 70 years. I guess they rest on the good name they once set for themselves. Below is an email I sent and the response to be fair. I am also including pictures of what was ordered, what I got and the sad attempt to “make it right” AFTER having to apologize for treating me poorly. Keep in mind, this exchange was with Matt who is the manager. Good Afternoon, First let me say that I am appalled by the horrible attitude and poor customer service I received when calling about flowers that should have brightened my day. I've never been treated so poorly, especially when I called and addressed my concerns as nicely and politely as I could. Attached are the photos and the compared "art" you refer to on your site. You mentioned over and over that what is online is art and honestly I believe all floral arrangements should be looked at as a form of art. The fact that you dismissed my concerns as me comparing the poorly arranged flowers I received to art when I see good florists as being artist that use flowers as their medium is shocking to me. I would think you and your company would take more pride in your "art". Then to further dismiss me by letting me know you would handle it with my partner if she calls shows you only care about the one paying you, not the recipient they are thinking of. I guess you bet on the fact that the sender rarely sees what they sent and the recipient rarely, if ever, knows what to expect. What a wonderful way to do business. As I said on the call, I am attaching the photos, both the ones I took and the example online. If you can look at the two and think for a minute that they are comparable then you truly care nothing about what you send out of your doors. Kind Regards, Kim Kim, Good morning. Sorry you were disappointed in your arrangement yesterday. I apologize for my reactions by no means was that acceptable I do my best to oversee every arrangement that goes out of here. This one slipped by as I was gone to lunch; after looking at the pictures sent your arrangement did not meet the size requirements but as I did say in the phone conversation it had more flowers than the recipe calls for just our standard here we want our customers to get there monies worth. Thats why I believe we have been here since 1951 family owned and operated and in the same location. That being said again my apologies and I am gonna send you a complimentary arrangement to enjoy as well and in hopes we can keep you as a valued customer . Matt

My father did business with Lawrenceville Florist for years and years and as a Funeral Director always recommended them to anyone in the Lawrenceville / Gwinnett area. Most of the "older" florists have been sold or retired out the business. Lawrenceville Florist is passed down to the next generation and they still provide the prettiest floral arrangements. This week I purchased a casket blanket for my late wife and received so many compliments on this beyond beautiful arrangement.
