Provider arrived on time calling ahead on his way so I was prepared for him. He was very friendly and had me walk him through the issue. After confirming the problem he provided me with price for the work, and then quickly replaced the part and tested the fix. All together the visit was quick and painless and I couldn't have asked for more servicewise. The price given to me was slightly higher than the quote I had received from a different plumber. However, after using the coupon found on Angie's List the actual cost came in right in line with what others had quoted. So, they may be slightly more expensive than the next plumber, but that is made up for in spades by the service they provide.

It went well. We had to turn the water off on the outside of the building. It took some time to do that, and I got the feeling he was a little frustrated about that.

Very responsive! We had another plumber out who wanted $700 to replace the leaky valve and charged us $89 to give us his estimate. I called Pell and they had a man out in 15 minutes to give us a free estimate and then repaired the problem for under $200. I had even told them the price that the other plumber wanted to charge, and they based their price on the work they needed to do and not relative to the other guys $700 estimate. An honest plumber and one that we will definitely call again.

Great service, punctual for appointment, detected and repaired leak in drain line located in garage wall. Cleaned up afterward, no complaints. The price seemed a bit high based on the time required for the job. If a service call flat is $89, then it would work out to $120 per hour for the repair. (parts were minimal. maybe $20.) Although pricey, I am very satisfied with the work.

He was responsive, even offered to come out on a Sunday to fix the problem. Noticed a problem in the overall configuration of the plumbing and offered advice about correction, and did so in a way that wasn't pushy. Great experience.

After calling several plumbers last Saturday night who either did not answer or would not come out, I was lucky enough to try Pell Plumbing. I needed someone to come out that night because the toilet on the lower level of my house was clogged and it is the only one my disabled father can access. Jeff came out within an hour and figured out that the sump pump was the issue within about two minutes. Although he quickly got the pump running again, he nevertheless stayed and tested the system out several times, which meant he had to wait until the holding tank filled up each time. Even though he was out there on a Saturday night, he only charged me the regular service fee since the job ended up being so simple. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable, courteous and professional, Jeff took the time to show me how to fix the problem myself if it ever happened again. Pell will be the first company I call from now on when I need a plumber!!

He was prompt and courteous. He replaced the kitchen faucet with a brand new one that I love and works Great! He also rebuilt the mechanism inside the tank of my guest bath toilet and adjusted the water level so that it doesn't use too much water as it is a 24 year old toilet. I especially liked the fact that he answered all of my quesitons and gave me pricing on some future plumbing needs. He took extra time to show me and label all of the water shut-off valves in the house. I really appreciated that. I would definitely call him again if I have plumbing issues.

He not only replaced the toilet flush mechanisim but decided to replace the old solid pipe connection with a flexible one.

I called for an estimate and the receptionist was very nice and professional. I described the desired work to her and she connected me to Jeff. I described the work needed and he quoted me a price I felt was high for installing a faucet, reconnecting a disposal and drain. He estimated $350 minimum over the phone .When I questioned the price he told me it wasn't cost effective to send someone out to estimate jobs under $500 and make two trips! Not exactly the "great service" they propose to offer. I have a quote of $200 from another plumber for the same work after an on site estimate.

I appreciated him because he did find the valve that already existed and he saved us from having work done that wasn't necessary. I didn't have anything to compare the price to but it didn't seem unreasonable.

We have two 50 gallon water heaters hooked in series (first feeds into second, then second feeds whole house). Thursday night, discovered the first heater was leaking significantly, and we had water over most of the basement floor. House is 15 years old, and these were original equipment. Called Pell Plumbing Friday morning about 7:15. Jeff said he would schedule me in that morning ,and shortly called me back to say plumber would be there between 10:30 and 11:30. Robert showed up about 10:45. We discussed options of replacing one, or both, or replacing with a tankless water heater. I decided to replace both heaters due to cost and age. He estimated about $2500 for both, and to replace one valve and add expansion tank (was not required 15 years go). He wrote up a detailed quote, which came to about $2150. Then i showed him an Angie's list coupon for 10% off, and he agreed to apply it to the quote. He had the tanks on the truck,and I authorized him to start, which he did immediately. After work began, we discovered that the valve on water main coming into house was also broken - would not turn off the water into house. He did not have that part on the truck, so we went out to pick up the right size valve while the water heaters were draining. This valve added about $155 to cost, before applying the coupon. When he came back he did the complete install on both tanks, reconnected all the pipes into and out, and the over flow pipes, as well as replacing both valves and adding expansion tank. He finished up about 3pm. After applying coupon to total work, the final price was $2042. I saved $227 with Angie's list coupon!! I am pleased with the work and the results, and we had hot water again by 4pm.

The technician arrived on time and was in and out in just a few minutes. He knew exactly what to do and got the job done.

I had him do the work. He set up the area with coverings so that there would not be any damage if case something happened and to keep things clean. It did not take him long to complete the job. The water was turned back on and the plumbing was retested. No more noise. Everything was cleaned up and looked just like it did before the work was started. I was impressed by the time he took to make sure where the problem was. I would call Pell again with any problems.

Called Jeff on Saturday and he came on Sunday morning to look at the drain. We were having problems with the bathtub draining; if you had been running water in the tub and flushed the toilet, you would have water back up from the tub drain. Quoted price to snake through bathtub, but he cautioned me that he would have to requote me if he had to pull the toilet. He wasn't able to clear the clog through the bathroom but decided he would try to snake the drain through the attic vent before requoting to remove the toilet. He ended up having to get a piece of wood from me; he cut it to size to support his tools and him in the attic. The approach worked and I have a clear drain! I really appreciated that he put in the extra effort to keep the price down and he worked hard to make that happen. I've heard lots of radio ads for "any drain cleared for $99," but I wonder if they work as hard as Jeff does to keep that estimate down to size?

Work was done in one day, for the price quoted. I decided to have them disconnect the old heater and leave it in place for future removal, where I'm hoping I can take it apart piece by piece and get the tank out once all the parts around it are removed. Pell did a great job disconnecting the old unit and sealing off the connections, like I asked for. The penetrations to the outside of the house look very clean on the outside, although I ended up with some larger holes in the drywall of the workshop than I realized. But hey, Pell's a plumbing company, not a drywaller! The installation has been trouble free, and I'm looking forward to some energy savings from the investment in the tankless system. The bonus is it's now impossible for my teenage son to run us out of hot water!!

We would use Pell Plumbing again, and will recommend the service to our neighbors.

He arrived on time and I showed him where the tank was located. Our tank is located in a closet off of our play room. He made sure to cover up the carpeted area where he was working. Before just taking out our old water heater he made sure that that was the problem and not some pipes that were leaking. He made sure he lets us know what he was doing at all times. If we had any questions he answered them with no problems. The area that he had to work in is very small, but he managed to do a very good job. I will call Pell Plumbing again if I ever need a plumber.

We recently moved into a new house and, after about a month in the house, discovered mildew in a downstairs closet. We found Jeff on Angies list and I called to set up an appointment. After being routed through, who I assume was an office manager, I was on the phone with Jeff. I thought that was very rare that you find yourself talking to the owner of the company. We set up an appointment for later that day, which we had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict but he gave me plenty of notice and set it up for the following day. Jeff was very prompt, arriving before me. I explained our situation and he immediately got to work. As I am not handy or have any knowledge of how a house plumbing system works, I thought it very calming that Jeff explained what he was doing and asked before he had to do anything invasive. Eventually he determined that our master shower faucet was leaking. He advised that he would try and fix it, but we may need to replace the faucet. It turns out that he was able to fix the leak. After he had assembled everything and cleaned up, I continued to ask him about some other issues that we had noticed. One being the pressure in the house. Jeff tested our pressure and quoted us for the replacement of a pressure reduction valve and a thermal expansion tank. We had Jeff come out the following week to make the replacements. Once again, he was very accommodating in scheduling and, again, he was very prompt. He replaced the PRV efficiently and then determined that the expansion tank was not necessary. Nothing had changed in his pricing from his earlier trip and it wound up being cheaper because we didn't need to replace the tank. As of this review, the pressure in the house is much more stable and the faucet remains fixed. I thought that the pricing was fair and found Jeff to be very professional. I would recommend Pell Plumbing to anyone and I will continue to use their services.

Having used Pell Plumbing previously, I knew what to expect. Jeff arrived promptly and got to work. He replaced the inner cartridge of the fixture, had the water turned back on and was gone in about 45 minutes. I had attempted repair myself, but was unable to get a component loose. I had another plumber take a look at it several weeks ago and that person claimed he could not get the part off either, and left me with an estimate for $400 to cut through the wall behind the shower to make the repairs. I was glad I called Jeff and now, a shower head that's been leaking for about a month, is finally repaired. I appreciate the professionalism and integrity of folks like Jeff at Pell.

After a not-so-positive experience with another company just the week prior, I called Pell Plumbing about the leak. I spoke directly to the owner, Jeff, who agreed to be at hour home the same afternoon. He was on time and thorough. He discovered the source of the leak, talked with me about how it would need to be repaired and provided me with an up-front cost before he did any work. Once everything was agreed to, he finished the work in short order. There has been no problem ever since.

Called PELL described the situation - representative was at my rental property within an hour. Performed the analysis - discovered I did not have the gas on - and said (no charge) Now thats what I call a honest broker!! Had a small water leak at the meter. Called Paulding Co Water because I was sure it on their side of the meter. Their representative said that the leak was on my side and that I needed a plumber. Pell responded immediately and within 30 min had documented that the leak was indeed Paulding Co's responsibility. Had Paulding Co acknowledged their responsibility at the outset, I wouldn't be out $59.
