Rob was prompt and courteous. He carefully reviewed each issue with me, explained the process of each repair and demonstrated that each item was in proper working order when finished. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up completely. He reviewed the charges thoroughly. We are very pleased with the results and he is coming back next week to replace the kitchen faucet.

The installer was very well organized and paid attention to detail. The price was fair and I would use them again for plumbing services.

It went well. They came out for the installation and an additional tank was required (about $200), so they installed this as well. They were very professional and I had no issues with scheduling.

They did a good job. I don't remember much about it. I moved so I'm not in that area anymore.

The fix was simple and quick. Richard Hillhouse removed the handle to the Delta classic shower (clear plastic geosphere) and the surrounding metal bulb cover and quickly identified the problem to my daily leaky shower (approximately 5 gals/day). The cracked plastic washer needed to be replaced. He did that and replaced the 2 metal springs and their washers and replaced the plastic ball lever with a metal ball lever.

He was very professional, explained what needed to be done, fixed problem and cleaned up after.

We had a leaky toilet that had evidently been slowly leaking for years. I called Pell about 10am and had an appointment for 2pm shortly thereafter. They arrived about 30 minutes prior, which worked for me because they provided a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. The plumber was professional, took an initial assessment, gave me a ball-park cost estimate, explained the issue when he discovered it and advised what he would do to repair it. He had the toilet fixed, included my Angie's List coupon on the bill and he was out about an hour later. I would definitely use them again.

We thought we had a busted pipe due to freezing. Pell Plumbing came out within an hour of us calling and notified us that nothing was broken and only charged us the regular service fee. We had them install a shut off valve for that particular hose bib and he did it on the spot. He offered to assist in any other way and work with my husband on how to fix issues.

During single-digit temperatures, the water pipe from the outside spigot burst in the basement/garage. I discovered the leak at 4 pm, got on Angie's List, found Pell Plumbing and called at 4:08 pm. I was dispatched to Jeff within moments and he told me he would be over as soon as his current job was done. He arrived within about 20 minutes. He found the leak and offered the repair quote. He cut and replaced a 12" section of copper pipe. He recommended I look on Angie's List to find the best coupon with Pell, which saved me $40 off the $289 repair price. He kindly recommended that I get the copper pipe wrapped to prevent future pipe problems. He left at 5:15. The fastest resolution to a home emergency I have ever experienced! Jeff was professional and forthright. I am very satisfied!

There were scheduling issues as well as extra costs when I called the company.

It went okay. His quote for the replacement water heater was a bit high, but not outrageous. He also wanted to replace the pressure relief valve, which added quite a bit to the quote. I had two other guys come in and both agreed that the valve was fine and did not need replaced. We ended up going with another company to have it the hot water heater replaced. I feel I probably overpaid for what was actually done, but the water heater flush couldn't be done from the age of the equipment, and I am not sure there was much more inspecting to do past what he did. All in all not upset or unhappy, but I will probably not do business with them again in the future. The tech was prompt and professional, but the first thing he asked is what I wanted done, which I would have thought was obvious from the purchase I had made (comprehensive plumbing inspection and water heater flush).

I contacted Pell Plumbing and on the same day, Jeff Pell just happened to be in the area of my rental property and was able stop by within 10 minutes of my initial call. He checked out the leaks coming from my clothes washer faucet connections, tightened them enough to stop the leaks and contacted me to say that the faucets are old and need to be replaced but should hold good for a while. I asked him what it would cost to replace the faucets and he quoted me a price of $275.00. Since this was such an easy do for him today, Jeff agreed to waive the $59.00 service fee and will contact me early next year to schedule the work. I am very greatful to Jeff for is quick and generious attitued and happy that he waived the fee and that I could have the work done later since Christmas is approaching and expenses are needed for other things now.

Even though Jeff was booked for today, he made a recommendation of another plumber that I could call. Very appreciated as I didn't live at the service address.

I called Jeff with Pell Plumbing after receiving a diagnosis and estimate of the problem from another plumber, who wanted to remove have entire floor & the first row of 16" tile of the relatively new (8 yrs) travertine shower to expose the shower pan that he installed, which he said was not draining properly & causing the leak. He ascertained this by shining a flashlight down the drain and stepping around in the shower - he did not perform any other diagnostic tests. He gave me an exorbitant estimate to do the work ( not including tile repair) so I decided to get a 2nd opinion from Pell, based on Angie's List reviews. Jeff came out and performed several tests in order to see if he could create the leak & isolate the problem. Initially he also agreed that the pan wasn't draining properly however he could not replicate the leak and said that in order to investigate further, he would need to cut out a small section of the sheetrock in the garage ceiling where the leaking occurred in order to see where the water was coming from. Eventually, after several different scenarios with the water running, he figured out that the nozzles on the wall body sprayer were broken and leaking down the wall through the ceiling. He fixed both nozzles, which were originally installed by the 1st plumber and we haven't had an issue since that time. He also called later in the week to see how it was working. Jeff's resolve to get to the source of the problem really impressed us. He could've just agreed with what the first plumber said, but because he could not re-create the problem & actually see the leak, he continued to look until he found the problem. Jeff and Pell's Plumbing went above and beyond and we truly appreciate his honesty and commitment to provide quality service. Highly recommend and we will be using him again in the future.

Listened to symptoms and was able to find a leak in the drainage pipe from upstairs bathrooms and was able to solve problem. Robert was able to find a screw that held kitchen cabinets to the wall; screw had been in there apparently since the house was built in 1992. It caused a minor leak in the basement. He was able to find this without cutting holes in the walls or ceilings, something another plumber wanted to do almost immediately.

We called and scheduled the Angie's List Big Deal for a water heater replacement. When the plumber came out, he explained that if the expansion tank on the water heater was bad, they would recommend replacement. When the job was underway, that is in fact what they found. This was not only due to age, but because our pressure regulator on our 30 year old house was not working, He demonstrated that the expansion tank was water logged and non-functioning (necessary and not a huge expense). We had known for a while that we probably needed to have the pressure regulator in our house replaced, and it was completely non-functioning. That and a new on-off valve for the water heater (also a minor cost). Pell's plumber was pleasant and efficient. he explained all work prior to performing it, and we've had no issues since.

Rob was very professional and right on time, called ahead to let me know he was on the way, and quickly made the necessary repairs. Pricing was fair for the work performed and the added peace of mind from a quick inspection of the rest of the house was greatly appreciated. We will be using them again on our future projects/repairs. Thanks!
