Altaquip

We had a bunch of problems with them. They were subcontracted by another company to repair my mower. It has been 8 weeks and it is still not right. The main thing that went off was the fuse, but there are other minor issues that they didn?t complete. They are equipment service specialists. My mower didn?t start in the last week July and it?s a Troy-Bilt mower. So I called the store from where I had purchased it since I have a warranty. They said that someone would call me back in a few hours, but it didn?t happen. I called them back the next day and they were sorry about it. They gave me the number for the place who was supposed to be contacting me and they said that they will call them again. I called that place, but they never came and got it. It had been 3 weeks and I was still fighting with the store from where I had purchased the mower. So they said that Altaquip would come out. They came and got it fast. There were 3 companies involved. First was the store from where I had purchased the mower. Secondly there was the warranty providing company and thirdly there was Altaquip. Over the course of the next month and a half they kept telling different things to everyone. They finally told me on Monday that they would deliver the mower on Wednesday. They also told me that they would give me a call when they were an hour away from my house. That was the only window I was given. I waited the whole day and I called them at 3. I got a very rude person who told me that I wasn?t scheduled for the delivery. The store from where I had purchased had also got the same information that Altaquip would deliver it on Wednesday. The main problem was the fuse and I don?t know why they took 6 to 7 weeks to replace. The secondary problem was that the mower was mowing unevenly. It looked like the left side was even and the right side was in an angle. They never fixed that and they claimed that they did. They also claimed that they had sharpened the blades. However, that was a part of the service. They didn?t do most of the things that they said they would do and they didn?t do it timely. Some of it wasn?t done well. They told different stories to different people. I wouldn?t use their services again.
