They did a fine job. They were subcontracted by another company that removed the trees. The price was part of the service for tree removal. They didn?t clean the area after stump grinding and they left it there. I cleaned it up and used it in other places. It stayed where they had ground the stump. There were 7 stumps. They were very careful. They took care to keep the debris from flying. They put up some material to keep the debris from flying. I was happy with what was done. They were very responsive. They were scheduled to come in right after the trees were removed, but we asked the tree removal company to wait because there were some things that we wanted to move. They were very willing to do that. They showed up on time. They were very professional. The worker who did the grinding was careful and helpful. He removed an extra stump for me at my request. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

After spotting all of the stumps we had marked the serviceman went right to work and had the job done in little over an hour. When I asked him to go back and address more roots he did so willingly. He was careful with the existing foliage and filled back in all of the holes created. My only suggestion to others having this work done is to inspect the holes before they get filled so that you can see major roots that could also be ground.

We had four trees taken down. The tree removal company went owt of buisness and left the stumps. I called Ness Stump Grinding. They came out the same day and completed the work. Mike used a screen to keep the wood chips and grinding from shooting across the yard. He grinded it deep enough to mix in dirt to the stump grindings. The four stumps were left neatly ground. The work was completed quickly. Mike was professional and nice. Glad we called them!

I called to find out when they could come out, and they were available on the same day. They worked around my availability, called on their way over, and arrived when they said they would. He quoted me a reasonable price based on the size and number of stumps, then ground the stumps down to nearly a foot below the surrounding ground, meaning that I can plant grass where the stumps were. While he was grinding he was very careful to place barriers around the grinder to protect the house & windows. They were very professional.

Gordon Ness was very professional. He set up a plywood barricade between the stumps and my house to keep the house clean. He used a blower to clean up when he was finished. I had the utilities marked in advance.

Couldn't be better. What great work Garry did. Prompt; very professional; used top quality stump grinder. Did extremely well. In fact he ground more than he initially quoted for no additional cost. Finished in 4 hours. Look no where else if you need a competitive and quality contractor.

They came out the day after I called them, I was not at home but they did a great job and called later that day to confirm that everything was to our satisfaction.

THE GUYS FROM NORTHSIDE SAID THAT, SINCE I HADN'T REQUESTED THE STUMPS GROUND OUT ON THE ORIGINAL WORK ORDER (CORRECT), THE COMPANY THEY USE (I.E., NESS) WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO COME OUT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY. MUCH TO MY PLEASANT SURPRISE, HOWEVER, THEY SHOWED UP 90 MINUTES LATER, READY TO WORK. LUCKILY, THE GRINDING MACHINE THEY USE WAS ABLE TO (BARELY) SQUEEZE THROUGH THE GATE IN MY CHAIN-LINK FENCE (AFTER TAKING OFF ONE SET OF EXTRA WHEELS). THEY WERE DONE WITHIN 40 MINUTES, AND WERE CAREFUL NOT TO GO TOO DEEP AROUND ONE OF THE STUMPS SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE THE ROOTS OF A NEARBY TREE.
