 + -1 moreThese guys were great! I originally purchased an Angie's List Deal for a plumbing inspection and was pleasantly surprised to have them schedule to come out the day of my call. I had 2 leaky faucets which were the motivator for the coupon purchase. The guys came out and took a look at everything. I needed a pressure release valve to fix the problem. After a trip to Home Depot, they came right back and wasted no time fixing the problems. All in all, it was a great experience.

 + -1 morePurchased a deal for $79 worth $170 in service. I called the office to book an appointment and spoke with Randy who i believe is the sales manager. The appointment was set for a Wednesday, 2 to 4 time slot. I gave my address and phone number and explained I bought the Angie's list deal. They proceeded to miss the appointment and never called me back. Ever. Over a month later, I called back to redeem the deal. The receptionist apologized profusely, said she would research and call back. When she called back she told me they had my address down wrong, and didn't know why i was never called back. Blamed it on the old receptionist, when in fact I know I spoke with the sales manager - possibly owner. We booked an appointment and all was OK from there. Scott was very helpful and professional. In the end, even with the "deal" I paid the same exact amount I paid my old plumber for the same service. In spite of the good service I received the second time around, I doubt I will use them again due to both price and lack of reliability.

Description of Work: INCREDIBLE WORK! I HAVE found A PLUMBING CHAMPION & company! (also a GREAT Angie's List DEAL) The water and sewage dept bill came to almost $800, indicating a 40,000 gallon leak in my Very complex 55 year old home's water system. AND My water meter is 1/8 mile up the street. Ronnie came on time (kept me apprised by phone of his distance and traffic) and spent 2 half days checking/examining/testing every single pipe, valve, spigot, pressure reducer and toilet areas (plus greenhouse lines, gardens, exterior water lines, etc etc.) In order to check each section and isolate it, he had to go back and forth up the street to check the meter. he must have walked 10 miles in those two days. But through perseverance, high professionalism, thoroughness, he tracked down 2 leaks, repaired them, balanced the pressure in my many systems as he went, missing not a thing. From a antique tub leak down to my 12 year olde water heater -he found hidden, behind and under the huge water heater was a little valve, stuck open, dripping dripping, maybe for months...he repaired that too. INCREDIBLE WORK! It takes a lot of deep experience and knowledge to know that a HIDDEN VALVE, buried under a water heater could jam and leak. I never would have found it. Would you? INCREDIBLE WORK! I HAVE A FOUND A PLUMBING CHAMPION & company!

 + -1 moreScott the technician was knowledgeable, experienced, and had good humor. He first followed me through the house while I showed him all the problems. He listend and was attentive. He then gave me an explanation/ rationale behind each problem, and what needed to be done to fix it, along with price. He then did his full inspection of other plumbing fixtures (under bathroom & kitchen sinks, tubs, toilets). He went out to purchase the caulk, then returned and completed the jobs. He left the remaining tube of caulk for me to use in the future, which I was pleased about. We went over everything once again after he had completed the jobs to make sure nothing was left out, I wrote him the check and he left. Job well done and very professional.
Description of Work: I had a fill valve replaced in one toilet, I had one toilet snaked out (the $100.00 cost for doing this I felt was a bit overpriced, but the coupon discount of $170.00 helped), I had the rim around kitchen sink caulked due to leakage, and Scott replaced the chain inside one toilet at no extra charge. The $170.00 coupon discount that came with the package really helped drop the price of all the services from $320.00 to $150.00, which was great.

He went around my house and did preventive inspection and did minor corrective actions where required. Plumber showed up 15 mts late ( I was informed by their office that plumber was running late). We went through the process of inspecting all plumbing appliance ( water heater/ outside water pressure/inside waterpressure/restroom/sink/washer) and informed the issues I have with some of the appliances. I was given a price quote for fixing those that I wanted to fix and I signed off on them. The technician was very sophisticated and did a through job in getting my two sink drain fixed. The appointment was made almost 3 weeks in advance and I thought for sure when I called the day before to confirm, they would tell me somehow my appointment got mixed up. Much to my surprise, my appointment was in tact, Audrey offered me the name of the tech who would be arriving at my house without me asking. Thanks 24/7!
Description of Work: Scott from 24/7 arrived in a timely matter and was very friendly and outgoing. He took the time to explain everything he was looking at and the adjustments he made as he tuned up my commodes. I had a small leak in my downstairs commode but after the tune-up the leak stopped. He had me walk him throughout the house and he checked under sinks, checked the water heater, and checked the pressure from the outside. He showed me what was good and he showed me things to keep an eye on for possible repairs in the future. I felt comfortable with Scott in my home; he was easy to talk to and easy to understand.

 + -1 moreI cannot say enough good things about 24/7 Plumbing at this visit. He was prompt, efficient, patient with my questions. He left no mess behind. He went over everything in my basement and explained the basics of my system. I will absolutely use them exclusively in the future as old plumbing is something most plumbers don't want to deal with at all. They will try to convince you only new will do. At the same time, if something really is beyond repair I trust 24/7 to tell me the truth.
Description of Work: Plumbing Big Deal for $69 --plumbing inspection and 2 toilet flappers. I live in an old house with 1950's or earlier fixtures and I needed 2 running toilets and 5 faucets repaired. 24/7 plumber was able to fix one of the two toilets on the spot. The other toilet and faucets I knew would require a return visit which I will schedule.. The toilet he couldn't repair at that visit was one two other plumbers said couldn't be repaired and wanted to install a new toilet for $500-800+. He said it could be repaired with replacement of a couple of parts at about 1/4 the cost of a new toilet.

 + -1 moreThis was a great experience. The plumber, Junior, completed the toilet tune-ups and flushed the water heater. He also did a full inspection of the house. He found a hole in an old iron drain pipe in the crawl space and a leak in the basement sink. I asked him to check a drip in the master bath shower. I had been told by another plumber from a different company that fixing this drip would require opening up the wall and that because I have old galvanized pipes, it could cause further damage and extensive repairs. Junior immediately realized that all that was needed was a replacement stem. Because the plumbing in the house is almost 50 years old, he took the old stem to Ace Hardware in Tucker and searched until he found an appropriate match. He even thought to save the packaging for me in case the other stem needed the same replacement in the future! Junior quickly replaced the sink drain in the basement to resolve the leak there and then spent quite a while in the damp crawl space to cut out and replace 25 feet of old iron drain line. He even hauled the old pipes to the street so that they would be picked up by the county. We will definitely use this company again.

He is just the best guy and the company employees are always friendly and professional. You won't go wrong if you trust 24/7 to take care of your plumbing needs. They give great service in a timely manner and are people you can be sure will do a great job!
Description of Work: I purchased a coupon deal because I was so pleased with Ronnie's work before and I have an old house that requires some maintenance to keep it going. As was the case last time they called to say he was available earlier if that would work for me. It did! He performed the things described on the coupon but I had some concerns about whether this was all that was needed. He, very fairly, assured me that if his repairs didn't improve the filling of the tank he wouldn't charge me. It made quite a big difference and I'm confident things are in good working order.
