It was a great experience overall. We were impressed by Andy King's visit for a free estimate -- I liked his assessment of the trees and limbs and which ones had to go, and I appreciated that he came himself to assess the job. I really wanted to use his services, so when another company gave a lower estimate, I called Andy and he matched the price. The lower price meant he had to send his crew when they were free and not busy with another job, but it turned out they were able to come just a few days later. They did everything they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. I also liked dealing with their office -- they were professional and friendly, I got all the information I needed, and got prompt callbacks.

I would highly recommend King Tree. They were a great value and very responsive.

They were trained professionals, very clean, very organized, and very quick. They knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it efficiently. When they left, it looked as if they were never even there.

I couldn't have done better myself. The attention to detail was great. The crew performance was superb. My concern was how high the trees were and the proximity to the house. The crew acted safely and professionally. At no time did I have concern for personal or property damage. The clean up was phenomenal, even cleaning up beyond their work area. The crew engaged me concerning location of sprinkler heads and other obstacles, causing no damage. The bid was between two separate bids. I received great value at an acceptable price. If you want a job done right, call them.

I was extremely pleased with King Tree Experts. Their original quote was very good and there were no surprises. They arrived on time and were very professional. The crew was large so they were able to finish the job quicker than I had expected. My yard was left clean and neat when they were done. I would hire them again without hesitation.

It was remarkable how skilled they were at removing these giant trees around the power lines w/out having to disconnect the power. They all wore red uniforms and had great equipment. It is a family owned business, they have been in business a long time and the service is incredible. They were very clean and kept the entire space immaculate. Nothing was left behind and nothing was damaged.

King Tree Service arived early and on time. They had the equipment and more than enough men to get the job done the job. I was impressed by the way they cleaned up afterwards. Please never use King Tree Experts. We told them not to drive on our front yard, but they drove on it anyway. We told them at the time the estimate was given and before they began work the day the job was done. I asked the foreman on location why he drove on the yard. He said, "I know you told us not to drive on the yard, but I called the boss and he said to drive on it anyway." I called the boss to complain and he chewed me out. I asked him to accept responsibility for any damage they may have done to our septic drip lines and he said no. Not only did he say no, but he also told me that we never mentioned anything about driving on the front yard. When I told him we most certainly did tell him, he blew up, and chewed me out again for supposedly calling him a liar. King Tree Experts will not accept responsibility for their mistakes and wrong actions.

They performed all of the work that we contracted for in an excellent, professional, and thoughtful manner. In fact, thay did more than we expected. They were in and out quickly with a vey minimum of disruption. We have had some pretty bad luck with contracted services since moving to Peachtree CIty. This experience was like a breath of freah air.

I called King Tree in the week before Christmas. I immediately got a friendly person on the phone who told me that Lee King would be able to come and do the estimate the very next day (Dec.23) around noon. Mr. King came on time and gave me an estimate $450 lower than the other company from which I received an estimate. With the Angie's List discount it actually cost me $560 less! When I received my second estimate I decided on King Tree and called to schedule the removal. The answering service let me know that the office was closed till January 3rd but that their scheduler would call me at the first of the week. Lee King himself called me within 24 hours to let me know that he had received the call and that they should be able to set something up for the first week in January. I received a call from King Tree at the top of the week and my tree removal was scheduled for that same Wednesday. THey told me they would start between 7:30 and 8:00am and at 7:27 am their vehicles and staff were already on the scene and getting to work. I left for a work meeting and by the time I returned at 11am the project was complete, the workers gone, and the yard and street were ship-shape. I do not see how it would be possible to have been more pleased with this company's responsiveness, professionalism, quality, and for an unbelievably competitive price. I would soundly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They worked quickly and accurately, and did a very good job on what they said they were going to do. Their price was really good. There may be better ones out there, but for the money that they charged, they provided excellent value. The work was excellent. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

The work was completed on the same day that I initially called and the crew was very efficient and professional. The clean-up was also very thorough. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and professional. I will be using King Tree for all of my future tree service needs.

I have a large magnolia tree which was top heavy and misshapen. The tree blocked my view of the city. I wanted it shaped and thinned out so that I could look through the tree, admire the branch structure, and see the Atlanta city skyline. The tree is on a hill, quite tall and right next to power lines. I knew it would be a difficult job. I called three companies. One never bothered to give me an estimate. The other quoted me $870.00 and told me that what I wanted to do was not entirely possible, but they would do their best. Treeking told me that it would be no problem, came out twice to understand exactly what I wanted done, and quoted me $900.00. They also told me that they would be using a bucket so that they could reach the top of the tree and shape it the way I wanted. They arrived exactly on time with four guys. One used ropes to climb into the tree and thin out, open up the inside. Another used the bucket to shape and prune the tree under my guidance... and the other two kept everything picked up and spotless. The result was even better than I had hoped. The tree is absolutely beautiful and perfectly shaped. I can see the branch structure and the city skyline. My neighbors are as thrilled as I am. Total cost with Angies List discount came to $810.00. I will definitely use them again.

They arrived right on time and brought a very large crew. I was cutting down limbs that were interfereing with a satellite dish. They were patient as they cut down limbs, I would check the signal, and then have them cut down another limb. There is a minimum service fee for small jobs, but they do advise you about that up front.

The team of men arrived on time with all the necessary equipment. They worked quickly and precisely cleaning as they went along. They were very organized and efficient; no time wasted. At various points throughout the job, the foreman would check with me to gauge if their work was coming along to my satisfaction. Wow! I was particularly impressed with this because his actions (and all of their actions) demonstrated a sincere attention to service. All of the team members were very courteous and focused on pleasing me, the customer, and getting the job done. Their work was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience.

They are courteous and professional. They leave the job site cleaner than how they found it. They price their services fairly and competitively. They take all major credit cards and they give a 10% Angie's List discount. What a concept!

They arrived exactly on time. The three large trees were removed with coordinated precision with the ground crew working in concert with high rise workers. Although the larger trees overhung the house, no limbs or branches ever touched the house. All work completed in a timely manner consdering the scope of the job. Cleanup was immaculate.

King Tree Experts removed 5 huge pines from our yard in East Point and trimmed a pine that was obscuring our peach tree. Two of the trees that they removed were massive (>100 feet) and covered almost ground to top with vines, Lee King personally came out and did the estimate himself the day after I called. He also took care of making sure that we didn't need a permit. The crew came back a couple of days later and did the job while we were at work. They performed all the work as agreed - they cut down the trees, ground the stumps, and hauled the trees away. Our neighbors said that they worked very quickly, had a large crew, and up-to-date equipment. One neighbor also mentioned that King used several situation-appropriate methods to remove each tree, thus reducing the risk of injury to the crew and our property. When we got home from work, the only clue that they had ever been there was the free pine mulch that they left where the trees had once been. Highly recommended!

I first made a call to King Tree a week prior to them actually performing the work. I received two estimates. Both companies were highly rated on Angie's list, both supplied references, proof of liability insurance and bonding, but King's price was $1200 less for the exact same job. They arrived with a crew of @ 10 people. One crew worked in the front of the house while the other worked in the back. The back-yard crew removed a section of fence, did all of the cutting, removal, cleanup and replaced the fence section as it was originally. I had recently re-seeded my lawn, and they even redistributed straw that they had disturbed while working. In the areas where they ground the stumps, they re-covered the area with pine straw. They did an excellent job of removing a brush pile that had been accumulating for about 3 years. The net effect was that the trees were gone and everything else was undisturbed. They estimated a day to do the job, but were finished in 4-5 hours. This was a very impressive company to work with and I would not hesitate to call them again.

I had recently purchased a new home. About forty five days after closing I received a note from my homeowner's insurance company that my policy had been canceled because an inspection had shown there was a rotten and dangerous tree in my front yard. (This is legal in the state of Georgia). I asked for many recommendations from a variety of friends and neighbors before requesting estimates from the six most recommended companies. (All of these companies were highly rated on Angie's list, but the estimates varied wildly. I strongly recommend that when considering having work like this done that consumers request multiple estimates). Leaving aside the fact King had the most competitive bid, King was the most helpful from the first phone call, providing me with useful information about the requirement to get a permit from the city to remove the tree. King was able to visit my house and provide an estimate in a very short period of time. Once I had the necessary permit, they were quickly able to schedule the work. The crew arrived early on the day the work was scheduled and were very polite and professional. The crew performed their job like a well oiled machine or Nascar pit crew. I observed the entire process and was very impressed with how neat, clean, and careful they were. I was a nervous homeowner, but after watching them for about an hour I realized that I was in very good hands. They moved quickly and efficiently, but didn't rush or take shortcuts. They were very, very neat and cleaned up as they went along. The entire process was performed in a very safe manner. Every member of the crew was polite and courteous. Before they were done, I was asked at least three times if there was anything else I needed done and if the job had been done to my satisfaction. The elm tree was probably fifty to a hundred years old and it was a shame to have to remove it, but the only trace that it was there or that anyone had been in my yard was the mulch filling the hole where the stump had been ground up. The yard itself was left cleaner than they had found it.

From the initial estimate, to the scheduling and the completion of the service, I was very pleased. King Tree Service was very easy to work with...they were on-time and completed the job in a professional manner. The only snag was that I had to remind them about the 10% Angies List discount that I had discussed with them after the initial estimate was given, which they indeed honored.

Lee King arrived to do the estimate at the time scheduled by his office. He was very through in his inspection of the trees and identified several limbs that should be removed, and provided a written estimate. We agreed to the work specified in the estimate, and the crew arrived on the scheduled day and at the scheduled time. They promptly went to work removing limbs as specified on the estimate. Most of these were limbs that had been overlooked by another company we hired about 2 1/2 months ago. A couple of overlooked limbs had already fallen, causing significant damage to our car. Several other limbs were removed at the recommendation of the crew chief. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up the yard and street after the limb removal was finished, and the debris was hauled off.

I called King Tree on Friday to look at removing a tree branch from the property (pieces on the roof). Received estimate the following Monday. They were able to perform the job on Tuesday. Very prompt and professional.
