Krussell's Tree Service

After purchasing the Big Deal, I called to check on arranging for the service. Matt called me back that evening, and, since I was going out of town for 2 weeks, we set a time when he would call after I returned. He called early that day, and we arranged a time when he would come. He arrived promptly at the appointed time. I showed him the work I needed done, as described above, and asked how much he could do for what I paid. To my surprise, he said "all of it." I had expected to need to pay some additional amount to bring down the dead tree. Matt told me that he would return within a couple of weeks to perform the work, but he actually returned only a week later with two helpers. They did all of the work we'd agreed upon very professionally. Matt checked the work with me before leaving, and I told him how pleased I was with the work. I also asked him for suggestions for additional tree pruning that our yard might need--we have a lot of trees. He made several suggestions, all of which made good sense to me, and offered all at a very reasonable price. We agreed that he will return in November or later when, he noted, it's a better time for pruning. Great quality, great price, great guy!

Excellent. The coupon I purchased did not include stump grinding. (my fault for not reading carefully) Matt agreed to let me use the price I paid for the coupon ($99) toward the cost of the job anyway. I felt this was very fair. Not only did the vendor grind and clean up the large problem stump, but also handle two other small stumps for no additional charge. They were prompt, courteous and professional

Owner Matt visited in late June to provide an estimate. After receiving what I considered to be a fair price I gave the go ahead (I also had purchased a $99 Angies List coupon offering $250 worth of tree services). Matt advised he was backed up due to recent storm damage in our area and that it would be about three weeks before he could get to the work. I was fine with that and he called the day before commencing work. He arrived on-time with a crew of four and they were done in about two hours. The clean-up could have been a bit better, but overall I was very satisfied and would use him again.

The service was fine. He was able to come no matter what time of day it was, to give me the estimate, which was good. I would recommend them.

Mission accomplished with no damage. Removing the tall trees was a challenge as they had to be "threaded" carefully so as to avoid damage to a dogwood, to a fence and to our roof line. Matt and his team are very professional. I had very specific ideas how I want ed a large dogwood pruned and the groundsman patiently took care to achieve the results I exactly wanted. Grounds were all cleaned up when they were finished. Our neighbor observed the job from start to finish and booked Matt for tree removal - after seeing the fine job he did for us! I had estimates from two other tree companies. Matt's fee was substantially lower than the other quotes we received. We consider this company a real find!

The crew was exceptionally professional in how they sawed, cut and mulched all of the tree debris. They left us the mulch in a large pile to use on our backyard. We were especially impressed with how they cleaned up the yard, driveway and garage before they let. This is a great company and we would highly recommend them

Working with Krussell's Tree Service was a very enjoyable experience. Matt is a great guy with a very good sense of humor and focused on doing quality work. His price was competitive, he discouraged us from doing work we didn't need, and when we asked him to do a small additional bit of work he attempted to not charge us for it (we estimated what it would have cost and added that to our payment). The jobsite was left clean and they respected our property while they were here. I couldn't think of a thing I'd change. An A+ performance and I'd hire them again, anytime.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. It turned out pretty well. They do just what they need to do and go out of their way to give me more than I pay for. I was happy with what they did. He came out and looked at the job, then said he would be back in about 10 days to do the work.

I had six tree companies quote the job. Matt was the most knowledeable. Other companies wanted to charge me to remove the vines from the trees, climb up and cut them down a few feet at a time. Matt threw a rope around the tree at the top, ran it through a block and tied it to his skid loader. Cut a notch in the tree and pulled it over. Cut down the trees that were leaning over the house the same way. Did a great job. The guy really knew what he is doing.

Matt Krussell came out to provide a estimate. Matt was very professional, courteous and friendly. Matt scheduled the work and showed with 2 additional personnel whom also were very professional and courteous. They completed the job effortlessly and cleaned up so that you ou wouldn't even know they were there. They were very nice people and a pleasure to do business with. I was so impressed with Krussell's Tree Service workmanship that I asked Matt to provide me with another estimate for different property which he plans on looking at later this week. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tree removal services.

Neighbors were concerned that trees in my yard might fall on their house. Matt came out and looked at the trees to let me know which ones he thought needed to be removed. He did the work quickly and efficiently. I will be calling him again in the fall to do some tree trimming around my house.

I purchased one of the Angie's List Big Deals including tree service for $99.00 (normally a $250.00 value). The manager was professional, courteous, and punctual. His team worked efficiently and cleaned up debris. I was able to schedule an appointment over the phone quickly. The manager listened to my requests and completed the tasks. My only concern was that I was asked to pay an additional $50.00 which I was told was payment to Angie's List. When purchasing other big deals, this has not been customary. However, I would use this company again and would recommend it to others due to their excellent service.

We called and left a message because we had a severely leaning tree that was ready to topple over. The tree was in a difficult spot, and if it fell would have created a lot of damage to another tree and other items in the yard. Matt came out and secured the tree until he and his crew could come out the following Monday. When they returned first thing Monday morning, the folks from Krussell's quickly cut the leaning tree and a couple others with minimal damage to the surrounding landscape. Overall they did an excellent job and I would definitely bring them back to remove trees from difficult spots.

They were great to work with. Their estimate was reasonable. They were trustworthy.

We had a sick maple in an awkward place atop our retaining wall yet next to our neighbors fence. Due to no access for larger vehicles in our backyard Matt had to climb the tree and carefully bring it down a piece at a time. His crew and himself really seemed to take great care in making sure each large limb came down without any damage to our wall, landscaping, plants, or decorative fencing. I would definitely use them again for tree care anytime in the future. They were professional yet honest about potential damage that might occur and the price was completely reasonable, and the lowest of all the estimates I had gotten. We did purchase the $99 Angie's List coupon good for $250 worth of work.

Remove tall pines and other trees from backyard.

Matt downed a diseased tree next to our home that was in jeopardy of falling during a windy period. He quickly responded to our call and provided an estimate. He honored the Angie's List coupon, which brought price down to ninety-nine dollars. Other Angie's List providers had minimums of four hundred dollars to do the job. Matt was so concerned about our safety that he made an extra trip to the house to secure the tree with ropes until he was able to drop the tree. He and his two member crew put the tree right where we wanted it and left it for us to use as fire pit fuel. We'll use Krussell's any time we have a need for tree service.

Krussell's Tree Service provided a quick annd reasonable response to a potentially devastating situation. They responded after business hours on Friday night and were on site on Saturday morning to take measures to make the tree safe until weather will allow its removal. Mr. Krussell kept me up to date by phone and pictures. His pricing is extremely reasonable, compared to other services I have used in the past, and he is knowledgable about his craft. I am thrilled to have found this company and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Matt and his crew, arrived when the said they would;and, did the work in a timely manner. After the cleanup, you couldn't tell they were ever there (expect for the tree work itself). My neighbor asked them to remove several big branches from one of his trees; and, they did the work immediately after mine. With the Angie's Coupon, I saved $100 over my other bids - very satified!
