Krussell's Tree Service

Matt Krussell was excellent to deal with. He was professional and price was very fair. His crew was also awesome. Rob the crew leader was very nice. They did a great job from beginning to end. I would defiantly recommend this company.

Matt and his crew were prompt, responsive and reasonably priced. Matt was very prompt with a return call for an estimate and came out twice to go over the planned work with me and my wife. On the day of service, his crew arrived on time, worked diligently and cleaned up when they were done. I was not able to be present while the work was completed, but Matt maintained phone contact with progress updates and clarified a few things before moving forward with their work. I plan to have Matt and his team out soon to do some more work in the backyard.

I called Krussell the last week of July to schedule an appointment for an estimate of the work I needed done. Matt called back the same day, discussed the work, and then set up an appointment to stop by two days later. He showed up on time, reviewed the work and discussed how they could take care of removing the trees. We scheduled the work for a couple weeks later but were able to re-schedule for the first week of August instead. The team showed up early the morning the work was scheduled and went to work. They spent 4-5 hours removing the backyard trees, hauling them to the shredder on the street and then began tackling the front yard pine and maple. All work was completed to my satisfaction regarding removing the trees and cleaning up any debris in the back and front yards. His crew was prompt, worked diligently and completed all work as expected on time, and then were on their way. Overall I was very satisfied with communication, follow up, pricing and completion of the work on time. I will definitely call Krussell's Tree Service again for my next project based on this experience.

I had very bad experience with tree companies in the past - Dealing with Krussell Tree Service. was completely different. A large limb had fallen on the roof, and I needed other very large, overhanging limbs removed from a large tree that was close to the house. In addition, a small tree was removed because of its proximity to the house. I was very impressed with the response to my request, and the whole process went smoothly. There was no attempt to "upsell" me on services I didn't want, the quote was fair, and the work done promptly and efficiently. The only sign that tree work had been done was a few wood chips in the yard! As an added bonus, Matt identified a non-related roof issue, and I was able to get this repaired before any leaks occurred! I will use Krussells Tree Service as my Tree company of choice in the future.

I contacted three tree services. Matt is the only one that returned my call. He was prompt with his return call. He came to the house, walked the yard with me and made suggestions but was not pushy. He provided me with a quote. He called me with an approximate time that he could come back. He called the day before to re-confirm. His crew showed up on time. All of the crew members were friendly, introduced themselves, professionals. Rob had me come out to take a look at what he had done and had me approve one tree trim. I would and will use Krussell's again and I will recommend them to neighbors and friends.

It was a 2-day job and Mr. Krussel and his crew showed up both days on time and as promised. They did not want to ruin the yard and even though it is impossible with taking down trees, there were few ruts in the yard as what could have been. There was no damage to our house and the job went off without a hitch. My husband and I were informed of everything ahead of time during the process. We will be having the stumps ground as well by a subcontractor. I highly recommend Krussell's for anyone in need of an honest and reliable tree service.

It was kind of mixed. They didn't follow their commitment but what they did was okay. They were ahead of punctuality and they didn't even listen to me.

Crew was punctual and very neat while working in my yard. I will definitely be calling them back soon to trim the trees with branches over my roof.

The crew arrived on time and went to work. They had to chip the branches into a truck since there was no easy entry for a large chipper in my back yard. When I went outside after a couple of hours and checked, they were working on the last pine tree. Completed job in 1 1/2 days. Price was a little high. The cost listed above includes an Angie's Deal I bought ($99 for $250 of work).

It went very well. I had two gum trees in the midst of bed of hydrangea and azalea, and was really afraid they would be destroyed. These guys got the trees out without damaging the shrubs. I was amazed. Very pleased with the cleanup and the speed. And the price was hundreds less than other providers wanted. I will use them again.

Krussell was extremely professional, prompt and fair. They came promptly at the appointed time and had the tree down and cut into firewood sections, cleaned up all in about 40 minutes. Truly amazing. Definitely would recommend and also hire again.

Matt Krussell and his crew are true pro's. He was punctual for both the estimate appointment and the actual work. Matt and the crew wasted no time when they arrived and took every precaution necessary to protect my property and my neighbor's property. They did a through job cleaning up (despite snow and ice!). I highly recommend them and will call them again without hesitation the next time I need Tree service of any kind.

The day I call Matt he came out as soon as the weather would let him. He took care of the one tree leaning against the other one. He made sure that it was safe to leave them until Monday when the weather permitted to bring it down. When they came Monday on time and everything went perfect and they cleaned up and did not mess the yard up. I never been so happy with a company before. They will be removing more trees that need to come down. Thanks Matt and your crew!

We were originally going to have a tree pruned and when he came out to discuss it we decided we were going to have it cut down instead. And then he suggested some pruning on some bushes in between trees somewhere in there. There was some pruning that needed to be done and he was able to include it the coupon and they came, they waited because we had so much lime that we love and the tree was so soggy. They actually moved Christmas yard decoration, to get to it the moved everything out of the way. They took away all of the trunks and leaves and all the staff and put the Christmas decorations back. That's what really stood out is that they moved our Christmas decorations and put them back without hurting anything.

Matt and his crew always do a great job. I have used Matt several times over the years. They do a great job of cleaning up and doing as little damage as possible to other greenery.

It went well. I had a good experience with them. It was a big deal purchase of $99 for $250 worth of professional tree services. They did not charge me more than that. They were responsive. They didn’t know what the price was and I had to call Angie’s List just to make sure that they knew what the price was because they were charging me another price. They didn’t know exactly what the deal was.

The tree was cut and everything removed and cleaned up after them. Two days later a guy came and got rid of the stump and cleaned up after him. Matt was professional and I would use him again any time the need for tree service happens.

They work efficiently and for a great price. Cleared over 10 trees and our yard looks great!

Matt showed up at the promised time and took a look at all the trees in order to tell me if I had issues. I have this done yearly to try and not have a tree hit the house (or neighbors house). I didn't have any trees that were problems on this visit. I also had him remove to small (5" dia.) sweet gum trees that were crowding several other healthy larger trees. All work was done safely and without delay. Property was cleaned up when he left.

Everything went great. They were very thorough and performed the job quickly and I would hire them again to work on my trees.

I got what I paid for and probably more. They showed up when they said they would and did the job I asked them to do and did not try to up sell me on other services I did not want.

I needed a tree removed at a rental property. I was able to work with Matt over the phone to schedule the tree removal. Matt was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He was courious to my tenants. I sure hope I don't need to remove any more trees from the property, but I would absolutely use Matt again if needed.

This company is amazing. They are a top notch company. Communication was great and the owner of the company was right on top of the project. They were very professional and explained the whole project in detail. Clean-up was amazing. Would recommend them over other tree companies that I have used.

They came out and did an estimate, and then I bought a big deal for the service. They came and did the job after a month, and I felt like I was put behind because I bought a big deal. They did the job fine, but it took about 10 phone calls to get to speak to them. He called me so many different times, and it shouldn't have taken so long. His estimate was the same as two other people, but with the big deal, the price went down considerably.
