We LOVE our new system! We gathered quotes from several companies so we know ACR's pricing is in line with the competition and their work is top notch. John and his crew are not only extremely knowledgeable but they are also polite and professional and treat our home (and money) like they would their own. The technicians are not contractors, they are direct employees. It's rare these days to find an honest, reputable company with an owner who truly cares about his customers and employees. We called for service and John came out that afternoon. We suspected our system (20 years old) needed a Freon charge and that's exactly what was required. When we need to replace our system (soon) we will be calling ACR for the job. Very pleased with our service and very highly recommend them.

They went through and check both furnaces and replaced filters. I mentioned that the upstairs thermostat was placed in an area that collects the heat from downstairs, not allowing an accurate temperature read for the upstairs bedrooms, which were always cold. They moved the upstairs thermostat into the master bedroom, out of the heat collection area, at no additional charge. If I could give an A+, I would. Can't say how happy I am with this company's service. Great folks!

Arrived on time and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Have had to call them again after the installation, when an issue with a switch occurred and they made the house call and replaced the switches on both the upstairs and downstairs units for free, and explained what the issue was that they had discovered.

It's a very simple story. We called and left a message. He called back. He came out, arriving when he said he would. He performed the services we asked him to perform. He sold me a good quality furnace filter at a price cheaper than the cheapo one I was going to buy off the internet. He serviced the tankless water heater. He gave me his expert advice and opinions about my hvac systems. He even talked to my children! In a few hours he addressed every concern that I might have had with my HVAC. I actually feel that I should call him back to tell him I think there is a mistake with the invoice - even though he has everything he did listed in detail, It really seems like he forgot to add in some prices! I got so much value from him that I am honestly wondering if there is a mistake (in my favor) about the price. Certainly I would have paid him more. I completely respect and trust both John and his work. If I can arrange it, I will never use anyone else for HVAC work.

I had originally called ACR simply to see if they did Water Heaters because I had previously been a customer of theirs for a complete HVAC system (which is their primary business) and because they are a joy to do business with. Mr. Elder and I chatted about possible options I could go with, which included giving me advice above and beyond what I could have expected. During our conversations, Mr. Elder was always interested in HELPING me solve my problems -- regardless of whether or not I ended up doing business with ACR and I greatly appreciated being able to "ask an expert" without being pressured into anything. The advice was both friendly and extremely valuable. I ended up requesting that ACR install a tankless water heater. Scheduling was easy. They showed up when expected. They were efficient, methodical, friendly, and thorough. I believe that I received a very top of the line product professionally installed. The product delivered, the quality of service, and the price are all better than I could have hoped for and if you are looking to do business with ACR I can only say "look no further -- you will get the best at an honest price without ANY worries". Call 'em -- you'll see what I mean.

John Elder and ACR were recommended to us from a general contractor. From the beginning, John was EASY to work with. He is knowledgeable, courteous, happy, a good listener, a good explainer, a straight-talker, prompt, hard-working, and a pleasure to do business with. He arrived when scheduled to give an estimate. That evening we had an estimate in hand. The estimate, per my request broke each and every item out into it's own price. That evening I requested the prices reworked as "package" prices and this was cheerfully and promptly done. John hooked me up with AIG for 0% financing for 24 months; a truly remarkable financing deal. Arrangements took about 10 minutes (paperwork later took another 10). John and team arrived when expected and accomplished the ductwork and all related work on time and on the same day. I would certainly do business with ACR again. All my questions were answered and I feel that I've received a very high quality job at a great price.
