I met with Eric, the Pennington representative, and told him generally what I wanted and why. He was very professional, asking me a number of questions which further detailed my project. He laid out, marked, and measured my job, then took about a day to come up with a price. His price was reasonable, the middle bid of three, but he promised high quality. After I selected Pennington, Eric came back and described what his workers would do, how long it would take, and important details. The workers showed up on time and ,after a short rain delay, erected the fence exactly as Eric had described. The workers were friendly, diligent, and well spoken. The fence put up was the same as promised and was of the quality described.

It's unfortuntate because they had teh best price out of five other fence quotes but the attention /follow up wasn't there.

They were okay. They weren't the best. They did a good job but, there were a couple things they didn't do. They didn't come back right away to finish it either. We wanted to add something on to the project, it was something small, and since they had to come back anyways I didn't think they would charge that much for the additional service. They ended up quoted us $500.00 minimum, and I thought that was to high. I would probably not use them in the future.

I spent about $1500 on that service. There was nothing really strongly one way or the other. They were definitely fine, responsive and they got the job done in half a day. It wasn’t very large, but it was done well, quickly and efficiently.

I used the email feature within Angie's list to ask them for a quote, but they never replied back to me. UPDATE: Pennington Fence called me back just now and we worked out the issue. Apparently there is system issue causing the inquiry not going through, so they never received the request for quote. The lady who called me (I forgot her name) was very nice and apologized for the IT mishap. I appreciate that she called me back to follow up.

The guys from Pennington came out and provided an estimate to replace my fence. The estimate wound up being a little bit lower than the actual price because they didn't see several areas where they had to cut through concrete. The crew of installers (2 of them) got the job finished in two days. They built a very nice fence and did a minimal amount of damage to the plants and landscaping where the old fence was removed and the new fence was installed. They also did a great job fixing up the remaining chain link fencing that had been damaged by falling tree limbs. The estimator, office staff and installation crew were very professional and did a good job of listening to what I wanted.

Went well. Want to get other estimates before final chioce.

I don't remember how many feet of fence it was. The experience with them was good. They came out within a day or two of my call and they gave me an estimate. They scheduled me within a week to come out. The only negative thing was that I did not receive a confirmation call on the day that they were to start. I had to call them and ask them when they were coming out to know when they were coming out. But once they did come out, they did it very promptly. My husband and I were out so we weren't there when they came out to start the work. They were punctual when they came out to give me the estimate. Their workers did not speak English very well so I could not communicate with them as well. They were nice to my husband. It was just that there was a language barrier. I would definitely use them again in the future if I had the need to put up another fence in the yard.

My experience from start to finish was great. The entire company was great to work with and was always very responsive to my needs. Patrick, the sales person, made some great recommendations and actually pointed out a few things the other companies missed. The installation crew, Jose & Sergio, was professional, on time and knocked out the fence in 2 days. I would recommend Pennington to anyone who asked.

Pennington came out and quoted us quickly and professionally. A tree dropped a limb which crushed part of the existing fence between our house and the neighbor. The plan was to put a gate where the damage occurred and tighten up all connections. Next they were to replace the rear fence with one a foot taller to prevent one of our dogs from jumping it. They arrived and quickly got to work, finishing the job by early afternoon. We were satisfied with everything except that they did not call us the day before or the day of to confirm the arrival time. However they did arrive when they said they would. Very pleased with their work.

I called for several quotes because our backyard fencing made a circle and we wanted to "open" it up and have it attached to the sides of the house in order to have the entire backyard fenced and secure. Other fencing companies I called refused to reuse my fencing, saying it would be damaged when it was torn out and quoted me for all new fencing which was very expensive. I used Angie's List and found Pennington and their salesman, Patrick Cheatham. They were more than accommodating to reuse my existing fencing and the end result is beautiful and it took them less than 6 hours. I wish I had done this years sooner!

I called them and they came out within a day or two. He came out right on time and the guy was very professional and friendly. He had all the materials and lots of knowledge. He spent a lot of time with us, we're not the smallest job but also not the biggest. I asked for a couple of options on different fence types and maybe doing it in two phases and he did all of that. He made sure I understood the estimate before he left and we will probably go with one of the options. It was actually fun.

Had a little burp in the initial estimate process but Patrick handled it quickly and professionally. Communication was prompt and all my questions were answered. The company handled everything from start to finish. Jose' and Sergio were the installers and I only have great things to say about them. They are very professional and do a fantastic job. My new fence is wonderful. More than I expected and worth the price being just a bit more than expected. I love it and highly recommend them.

I called three fence companies. Two of them gave me a written quote. Pennington Fence was the best price. They showed up as promised and finished the fence in one-day. They provided me with some great ideas and options that I never had thought of. These guys are good!

The company representative arrived at exactly the scheduled time. He listened to my ideas, then made several suggestions based on his knowledge, experience and my HOA guidelines. He measured the area and drew a scale drawing of the house and yard, with the fence lines marked. He offered several upgrade ideas which I liked. He upgraded the gates to arch-type free of charge. I also added ball tops to the posts for a more substantial look. Once we agreed upon the plan, I paid a deposit and scheduled construction. The work was completed several weeks later. I am thrilled with the appearance of the fence. It was within my HOA guidelines and looks wonderful.

We received an estimate from this and one other company. Pennington was slightly cheaper. They happily came out again to remeasure when we made a slight change in location. On the installation date, they arrived right on time, and the main guy walked the whole line with me and was very professional. Installation was done with incident in one day. It looks very nice and does exactly what we were hoping for. The price was more than we had hoped for, but it appears that would have been the case with any company.

Pennington did a great job on my fence. The fence has met my needs and it s a solid thing. That much I will say. Pennington has been around for a while and they are just a reliable company. The price was probably one of the cheapest prices I could have paid in this neck of the woods.

I received a quote from the salesman, Joe Goldys. He is very personable and you can tell that he loves working with people. He worked up my quote in several different ways to help me make up my mind. The workers took down and hauled away the existing fence. They showed up on time (7:30 am), and they made a courtesy call when they were on their way. The two man crew worked very hard and had a long first day. The second day went very quickly. They cleaned up and there was no evidence of anything out of place. They were very pleasant and did a great job. They told me it would take two days and it took 1 1/2 days. Joe called me back several days after the install to see how I liked the fence and if I had any complaints or concerns. My fence looks great! I feel that I could call Joe in the future with any concerns I have about the fence. He seems to care about making you happy.

Immediate response to request for quote. Salesman Joe Goldys is by far the best sales rep I have ever come across. The quote was by far the best we received. We were kept informed of each step of the process from start to finish. The crew (2) did an outstanding job and the craftmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend Pennington Fence to anyone!

They gave a free estimate quickly and the work was completed within two weeks. The fence is of great quality and everyone I spoke with were very friendly and professional.
