It did not go well. The technician that showed up was not knowledgeable and he was unable to solve our problem. We had something in our attic and they couldn’t find anything. He said he would follow up later and never did.

This company was consistent, timely and responsive. I am happy with the results and the people who performed the task. Thanks!

It went very well. We were starting to give up when the service guy finally found her. He didn't give up when it looked like maybe we were mistaken.

No one wants to spend this much money when they find out they have rodents in their attic. Having researched several providers we decided that rather than continue to remove the critters, we would make the investment and have them removed, then prevent them from returning. Critter Shield really earned the money and it wasn't cheap. They worked for three days and returned to work several more hours on two additional days (it snowed on them before they could finish). They went around the entire house and installed metal in a fashion that appears to be very permanent and is truly imperceptible unless you know where to look. They were professional, took time to explain what they were doing. They seemed genuinely interested in doing a good job. Specifically, they would notice an opening and get the ladders off the truck to come back and add more protective materials, even when it seemed they were finished. They guarantee the job for life, and based on the follow up with the traps they left in the attic, I believe they will honor the commitment. They came back to check the traps in the attic about a week after completing the job. One trap was sprung, but no critter, so they reset it and came back a week later... just to be sure they didn't overlook something. Truly a terrific experience from beginning to end. Again, I am not happy about spending the money on this - but if you need to do it, these are the folks to hire. Their price is competitive and based on the work that they did, I feel like we actually got a bargain... and I believe that if we have an issue in the future, they will be there to enforce their guarantee.

Critter Shield was very responsive to our need to remove the squirrels from our attic space. The squirrels were very persistent and Critter Shield kept coming out until all entry points were identified and closed off. I felt like my "pest" problem became their pest problem. They saw to it that it was solved. I appreciate their professional approach to a frustrating situation.

It turned out good. I'm satisfied. I'm not having any issues with the critters anymore. The first time they came out, they went up and looked in the attic where I had a gray squirrel that was coming in to the house. The roof line and the actual walls were pretty wide all the way around the house and it was allowing access to the squirrel. He basically told me it would benefit me to get a shield installed. We set it up and scheduled it and they gave me some time so that I could get the money together. I was very satisfied.

Once I was able to make an appointment, Critter Shield was prompt, professional, and thorough. They inspected every inch of the outside of my home and installed steel mesh over all possible entry points, including the soffit space, which lazy/cheap builders always leave unprotected, around the entire perimeter of the roof (about 650-700 linear feet). They painted the mesh that was installed over vents in the front of the house so it could not be seen. They left baited traps in my attic and came back twice to check them, and then removed them. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the company. I would recommend them.

They arrived on time and reviewed our situation, they provided their opinion of what needed to be done and after receiving multiple estimates we decided to go with Critter Shield due to their quick schedule. Since the work was performed we have had rats find their way back into the home. Upon contacting Critter Shield they were immediately defensive and needed to be called 2 times for them to re-inspect their work. I drove home to find they did very little inspection and were preparing to leave. I had them get on their ladders and actually inspect the exclusion barriers for faults. They still could not find any and left. Unconvinced I had a 2nd inspector come and he quickly identified areas around the foundation that were highly suspect. These holes around the cylinder blocks should have been sealed by Critter Guard and had obviously been overlooked. In addition, part of the cost of service included a cleaning of the attic. A later inspection revealed multiple areas that were overlooking or ignored. A few months later I started to see some roof damage to the facia boards along my gutter. A roof inspection revealed the exclusion system installed by Critter Shield had torn multiple shingles and had caused leaks to my roof. A call to the owner again was met with denials and a defensive tone. Had I not received multiple estimates and similar analysis from Angie's list roofers, I would likely have paid the hundreds of dollars to repair Critter Shields poor work. I'm now faced with the prospect of fixing a leaking roof and repairing a poorly installed exclusion system. I will update this post once I hear from Critter Shield and how they wish to proceed to address these issues.

i think I pretty much covered it above. We were satisfied with the work and believe the problem has been resolved.

My first appointment was established but nobody showed up until I called. After my call it was about an hour to have some at my door. They gave me feedback on what they saw and identified a bat issue which I discovered was an insurance claim. After completing my claim and obtaining payout the service was schedule for a Saturday. They arrived on time and spent about 9 hours at my house. I think they did a very thorough job with repairs and sealing. The next Monday gutters were installed without me being home. I got one phone call that I needed another downspout which I agreed to pay. The following day they installed screens on the front gutters and solid covers on the rear. I have no pine trees on the front and a lot on the back. They made two other stops to check the traps in the attic and to remove the one way trap door. I wasn't home for these visits and left the door unlocked for them.

They called and came over within a day. Determined that there were several places the animals were coming into the attic and we would need to repair the entry points otherwise just removing them would only be temporary. The price they quoted was very reasonable and they came back the next day to do the work. So far the work they did has solved the problem. They were professional and I am pleased.

I have not had any problems since they came over.

Based on the Angie's List recommendation, I called Critter Shield to check several spots on the roofline where I suspected squirrels might be entering. They responded quickly and an appointment was scheduled within a few days. I was kept informed of what was being done, which I appreciated. The best part: no squirrels!

Went extremely well. Jorge and team always arrived as promised and peformed with professionalism. In addition to doing a great job, we genuinely enjoyed having them around. The entire team was friendly, personable and quick about their work. After installing a one-way exclusion door and installing barriers to prevent new rodents from entering, we noticed that some of the squirrels had not left as planned. One morning I saw a mother squirrel trying to chew her way (unsuccessfully) back into the house and heard squirrels scratching from the other side of her intended entry point. I realized that her young had not been able to climb to (or find) the exit door left for them. I called Jorge who came out immediately and moved the door to a more accessible location. The next morning...silence! The house guests have moved out! For professionalism, dedication, personality and price I highly recommend Jorge's Critter Shield team!

I called Jorge and left him a message. He called me back a day later and we arranged a time for him to check out the house. He was running a couple hours late that day but did call to let me know and make sure it was ok. He performed the inspection and diagnosed flying squirrles in the attic. He gave me a quote which was a little less than the other company I had contacted. He also sent me a follow-up email with the written quote and info about the services. I called him back to schedule the work and he and his crew came out a few days later as scheduled. Jorge was there most of the time the crew was working and they finished in one day. They were all very polite and respectful of my family. That night - as Jorge said - the flying squirrles tried to get back in. I could hear them scratching outside trying to get back in, but none got in the attic. It's been delightfully quiet in my attic at night now. Two days later I noticed that someone in his crew had stepped off the rafters in the attic and had stepped through the roof into a spare bathroom. The ceiling was broken and the crack was pushed down an inch or two - not a huge gaping hole. I texted a picture to Jorge and he replied that he was not aware they had done that, but he would make sure it was fixed. My wife was unhappy that they didn't say anything right away, but I think it's possible they didn't realize they had done that much damage. I myself did something similar a year before that when insulating in the attic and didn't think there would be much damage until I saw the big crack in the ceiling in my daughter's room - so I know a little mis-step can cause a big crack to repair. Anyway, true to his word Jorge called a couple days later and scheduled a time for him and another guy to come and patch the ceiling and check the traps. They did a great job fixing the ceiling and I have no noises coming from the attic. Jorge noted that there was a loose board among the rafters, so he thinks they must have stepped on that which caused the crack. He fixed it and I'm completely satisfied. Overall I think he did a great job and I would definitely use him again or refer him to a friend. Critter Shield is a small business and I usually prefer to work with a small business when I can. I think the true test of a company is how they respond when you need something fixed later, and Critter Shield did the right thing for me.

Great! I called another company first that my exterminator recommended and I nearly passed out when they quoted me $1400.00. You cn imagine my joy when I found Critter Shield on Angie's List. Call them! You'll be glad you did. They really should have charged me more because there were more bats than I told him when he quoted the price. They were truly wonderful!

They were great and courteous. Jorge came out and seemed very thorough and knowledgeable. He has stayed in contact with us and knows that we will be making a decision soon.

The people were very efficient and completed the work in one day. Traps were laid and after 10 days they came back to be sure that all critters either left on their own or were captured.

I like Critter Shield very much. They provided a good service. Their price is average, but I would use them again in the future.

Came out on a Saturday to get rid of stinky dead critter in our ductwork. Polite, responsive,and reasonably priced. $75 The next week, after discovering a rattle snake in our closet, they came out to give estimate, secure our crawl space, and set rodent traps. Competed in one day, Very pleased with service. $475

Very good job. I called Jorge on a Mon., and could have had job done that same day, but I had somewhere to go, so we set up appt. for very next day. He came at time specified and explained what he was going to do and also the cost., which was very reasonable. Another company I had called a week earlier never showed up for an app. nor did he even bother to call. I would highly recommend Critter Shield to anyone.

Went very well. It is obviously very aggravating to hear animals scratching in the attic throughout the house. I spoke to three companies and decided to go with Critter Shield. I chose them due to their responsiveness, their diagnosis of the problem, and their price. One of the companies I spoke to I believe had the wrong solution entirely, while the other was significantly more expensive. Jorge came out, explained the problem, and then gave a very competitive price to complete the services. The company was able to do the work sooner than the other two companies, and the work was done neatly and completely. I highly recommend Critter Shield if you have the misfortune of "uninvited guests".
