The replacement windows had thermal heat control. These new windows are much easier to clean! Recently they actually came out to replace the windows in the library. There were 3 separate windows and one of them is quite large. We would recommend them and it was very positive experience. They cleaned up well. I did call them back on one small thing, they came out quickly and it took them about 2 minutes. Once we even had an issue with the window sealing and it had separated. They came out quickly and replaced the full window for us at no cost to us. The sales man did continue to check up on both of the jobs to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. Their prices are competitive. We are now considering them to do our basement windows.

They did have some issues with the screens, so they came out to re-measure and change those screens out for us. They will also be sending out some touch up paint too, since it is a unique color of theirs. Overall they did a pretty good job. They seemed professional, they came on time and always asked questions to see if we were satisfied. The windows and screens do have a warranty as well.

The salesman, Jose, was meticulous in explaining the product and services. He assisted us in our selection, and offered additional options to consider in upgrading our screened porch to a sunroom. We were also very impressed with the technician who measured the doors. When the doors were found to have a slight crack in the transom glass, Champion office personnel called, apologized, and graciously offered a gift card toward a local restaurant. They quickly replaced the glass, and were still able to deliver the doors well within the original timetable. When installation day arrived, Jung Kim, the foreman, got right to work with his coworker. The both were personable, polite, and industrious. They labored for more than ten hours, and did a wonderful job. We became friends with these gentlemen, and shared a meal. Jose called two weeks after the doors were installed, to make sure that we were satisfied with the end result. We are very pleased with the entire process, and have made new friends. We will definitely use Champion Windows of Atlanta again, and would recommend their services.

Champions just completed replacing 15 windows in my home two days ago and I could not be more please. I have always wanted to combine two of my kitchen windows into one big window. And Champions not only combined the windows, they exceeded my expectations. Mack was my salesman and he explained the product, the process of replacing windows and answered all my questions. I never felt pressure to make a decision and Mack's suggestion on how to combine the kitchen windows was perfect!! Instead of one large picture window, Mack suggested one picture panel with two sliding windows on each side - it is incredible!! All the work was completed in one day and the installation team cleaned up so well. They would not leave until I was completely happy. This morning a shade fell, I called Champions and within two hours someone was here to put it back up. That is great customer service!! I will definitely use Champions again and will recommend them to friends and family.

They were very professional, and they installed the windows for the whole house in one day. They did a good job, and they sealed the windows. We use them all the time, because we have a guarantee with them. If the seal breaks, they come and fix it for free, we just have to pay them the service charge.

Brett was the sales rep who quoted our job. He was very knowledgeable of Champion products, thoroughly described the features, energy efficiency and function of their windows and doors, and made us comfortable with the Champion products, installation and warranty. We replaced 29 windows and 2 exterior doors. Eddy and his crew members were courteous, respectful, professional and efficient, completing the installation in a single day. The installation process was minimally disruptive, which was a pleasant surprise considering the scope of our project.

I took them from Angie’s List. I was going to go with this guy. I think he was a little bit annoyed. I needed to fix the air conditioner first and then come back to the windows. I really haven’t heard back from him. There were a couple of things that I questioned him about and he never really sent it to me. Initially he seemed pretty good. They didn’t charge me for it. The kid came in and he was good. They came in with a window and he actually educated me. If it hadn’t been for him I probably wouldn’t have asked the next people questions. He was good at educating me. He did try to upsell it and his price was up there though. He was kind of expensive. He did come in and he did a lot of explanation. He really explained a lot of things to me. He was a young kid. He was disappointed that I didn’t buy the windows. I really needed to get my air conditioner fixed at that time. What I disliked the most was their sales pitch was very long. It was 2 hrs long and I was very agitated by it. That would be their downside. Their sales push was way too long. The upside of the sales pitch is, if you are not educated he really educates you on installation, the vinyl, they type of glass. For me that was great but it was 2 hrs session. He was also very expensive. If he wasn’t so expensive I would have used him. I could tell he was disappointed that he couldn’t sell me after he put on the 2 hrs session. He really did educate me. In terms of responsiveness, they came right in. I would consider using them if and when I decide only because of the education and when I can actually see the window. They have their own factory where they make their own windows.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The salesman was very informative, and he even sketched out ways to build the screen room that would save us money. Once the date of the construction was established, their men arrived on time and did excellent, clean work. This is the second time we have used them for a major build, the first time building an all-weather sun room nine years ago which, too, is a delight to use. We had one issue with a window six years after the room was finished, and Champion came over immediately and replaced it, no charge. They are true to their advertising!

Three representative installers arrived on time, very professional, friendly, and worked straight through until all work was done. Great job!

Everything went well. For the few small things that we were disappointed in, they were quick to fix and make "it" right.

Champion did what was agreed to completed when they said they would. Kept me advised of the work and answered questions politely.

We have waited to write this review so we could actually experience our new sunroom -- and we love it! It is a beautiful room where we can read, relax and enjoy our koi pond and backyard year-round. From the initial teardown of our old screen porch to the final cleanup, the project took almost five weeks, probably longer than usual because of the weather and Christmas/New Year holiday season. We are pleased with the look of the room and the quality of the materials used, but our highest praise goes to the installation crews. We had several different crews working on the project (evidently because of expertise), but each and every person was professional and personable ... and very hardworking. We were especially impressed with the crew chief who did all the final work and the patio manager who was very good about returning calls and answering questions. All in all, we were impressed with almost everyone at Champion, from the salesman we first talked to, to all the crew members, to Criss Maple, the local division manager, who we met during our decision-making phase when we visited Champion’s DeKalb showroom. A visit to the showroom may be helpful to anyone considering a sunroom so they can get a look at the materials used and actually see a finished room. While we are very happy with our finished sunroom, anyone looking at a similar project should be prepared for a few bumps in the road, like with any major project. The start/finish schedule may vary and getting questions answered from your sales person and/or office staff is not always quick. And know you may spend more than you originally planned. Like seemingly everything nowadays, there are charges for extras, but things like a gable ceiling and beadboard have proven to be worth the extra cost to us. You will also want to plan ahead what to do about heating/air and flooring. We contracted separately for a tile floor and to connect with our house heating/air system.

I called two people from Angie’s List and one of them actually hung up on me and the other one would not even come out and look at the job and then I called Champion and they came out and did our sun room, the workers were just as efficient as could be and the service was wonderful and we just love it. Their service was just wonderful and the workers did such a good job and stayed right there and work. Everybody should know about them. I find the contract in June and I think they start working on September, but I think they have a lot of job but once they start the job, they didn’t stop, they kept right down on it.

I am very happy with the sun room. They did a great job and Dan the project manager was great and very professional. My only complaint was the time frame. I was told they would start in 4 weeks. Then 6 weeks and it ended up being 9 weeks. Then I was told it would take 3 to 4 days to complete ( I already had the slab)It took a lot longer. They started in December and did not total complete it until February. I will use them again but I will have to have a time frame in a contract.

John Bailey gives customer great services! Once a contract signed - that is it! No customer service - no return phone calls! Always get the voicemail. The crew that built the room were good: Alberto, Dan, Mel, electrician, all did a great job - when it was finally started! The sunroom ((contract signed May 31,2013 - completed October 19,2013)). I did stop the progress due to Major surgery and medical issues for one week. Again, no customer service from John Bailey; could not get in tough with him. My room was a referral from my best friends. (They had a room built by a Champion in their home) It took until (November 4) for them to get the payment for a referral fee. We were "suppose" to have a regular door installed in the sunroom v/s a sliding door. However, when the contract was written, "that piece" was not included, they (Champion) claimed. We ended with a sliding door installed, and a contingent clause IF I could get over the hump at the door in the wheelchair they would install the door. The main issue with Champion is No Customer Service after you sign the contract. Your crew that builds the room is great.

Champion windows installer Eddie, was on time and did a great job. Replaced doors, cleaned up and removed old doors and debris. Great job and beautiful doors.

They were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and neat.When they left, you could not tell someone was here doing the work. They left absolutely nothing behind and I have no complaints.

The work was done by multiple crews, each group working on the area of their expertise. In every case, the workmen were of the highest professional calibre and were both friendly and courteous. The project manager also worked closely with us to be sure we were entirely satisfied at each step of the project. Everything was done exactly as planned, on time, and at the exact cost quoted to us, with quality materials and craftsmanship. We are very happy with the project and would recommend the company without reservation.

I had used them before to put in the sunroom. They did a beautiful job and the roof really did enhance my house. He came back out and fixed the gutters because the water was not running. I got the roof that will not have to be replaced. I got the best material, so it cost more. I will use them again.

From the sales person that came to my home, the installers, and the person who came out to do the measurements they were just fantasitic.

We originally met w/a representative to view, discuss, and order windows and siding for our home at a total of $39,800. We told the rep that we were members of Angie's List and wanted our discount. We gave them a down payment check. We were told to expect a call from the company, but no one ever called. Another rep came later to measure for the windows. Again we reminded him we wanted our discount from A'sL. The original rep came back several weeks later to tell us our siding color was no longer available and to choose another color. During this time, our chimney was removed, the front decking was removed, and staircases were redesigned and built for easier access. Champion took $500 off the estimate because of needing less siding. Because the remodeling of our home uncovered unexpected damage which had to be repaired, our funds were dwindling. Our son returned home from deployment and was sent eventually to a WBT unit in GA to address SIGNIFICANT PTSD! We traveled to and from MS and then to the WBT to help our son. I explained to the owner our inability to afford siding at this time. He reluctantly allowed the contract change. The window installment was begun 8-9 weeks after the original contract was signed, but there was not allowed enough time to complete the work in one day. Instead of coming back the next day to complete the job, we had to wait until there was time in the company's schedule to complete the work. At completion of the work, we looked the contract over and realized the company had not allowed for our discount through Angie's list. We wrote the final payment less the $1400 discount due us. We wrote a note to the owner with an explanation of the check amount minus the discount.The owner called back stating he had allowed us to forego the siding cost after our son's "SOB STORY" and we had a contract that couldn't be changed even though the discount from Angie's List was not allowed. We were threatened with a law suit and court fees if we did not pay the $1400. We ended up paying the money, but will NEVER work with or recommend this company to anyone! We were denied our Angie's List discount. The windows are beautiful costing almost $1,000 per window (other Champion stores in the Atlanta area charge only $750/window; my husband researched that fact but the owner disputed that). The work was completed over a four day period because of scheduling issues. Calls that we were told to expect we're never made. The original color siding we ordered became unavailable and we were forced to choose something else, and then the owner stated our son's return from Afghanistan with PTSD was a SOB story! NOPE! Won't be recommending this company to anyone!!

The initial Sales Presentation was long but, informative. Though new to the business, the sales person was professional and courteous. We signed a sales agreement that evening to have all 10 windows of our home as well as the front and back doors replaced. At that time, we were told it would take 3 to 6 weeks to construct our order. The sale person said a company representative would contact us to schedule the installation. After 2 months, we contacted the company because we were unable to reach the sales person. We were told that the sales person was no longer employed by Champion and our order had not been completed. When we asked why we had not been notified of the delay, we were told it was because the sales person had left and no one had taken on his accounts yet. About 3 weeks later, the company scheduled the installation. The crew which arrived to perform the installation was on-time, very respectful of our home and furnishings, and worked quickly. While preparing for the installation, I noticed that one of the windows was not what we had ordered (clear vs frosted glass). When I brought this to the crew leader?s attention, he apologized and immediately got on the phone to headquarters to notify them of the mistake. He advised me that it would be about 3-6 weeks for another window to be constructed. He was very apologetic and reassured that he would make sure it would be correct when they brought it back. When installing the front door, we noticed that the interior ?frame? (decorative strips inserted in window to make the glass look like separate panels) were not the same color as the door (door and frame area burgundy color and the frame was white). When we informed the install crew of this mistake, they called their headquarters again and told us that the frames are only available in white. We explained that not only did the sales person not explain that to us, it was his idea to install them in the first place. We had selected the plain frosted glass. The headquarters representative instructed the crew leader to go ahead and install the door. He advised us that they would get to work on a solution and call us to make arrangements to correct it. I would like to point out that the install crew cleaned up all the materials and even vacuumed the carpets and cleaned the floors after the installation was complete. They left our home cleaner than when they arrived. It was very impressive how well they cleaned up afterwards. The big disappointment came in the weeks and months that followed. We did not hear back from Champion concerning our incorrect window or door as promised. We had to leave several phone messages before receiving a return call. It was another month before the correct window installed. The company refused to replace the door or the glass. They finally removed the frame from inside the glass and replaced it with an exterior grid of the same color as the door. This resulted only after multiple calls from us demanding that it be corrected. It took about 3 months to have the door corrected. Overall, we are happy with the quality of the products and very happy with the crew that performed the installation. However, we were extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and prolonged timeframe to have the mistakes corrected. It was a frustrating and we felt that once the company had received our money, they lost all desire to make sure we were satisfied with our purchases. I believe that the only reason Champion finally fixed the door and windows were because we continued to make phone calls and insist on the corrections. Had we waited on Champion to contact us, I have no doubt nothing would have been corrected. For our future renovations and improvements, we will look elsewhere.

Jim Medlin & Brian Berry were great. Cleaned up as they worked. Answered all my questions. Acted professionally at all times. Installation was seamless.

It went well. They said what they were going to do. It was a good looking window.

The workmen were on time, installed the windows quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up behind themselves. They took down window treatments and replaced them when they were done. The entire job took just a few hours.
