BENNETT RESTRAPPING

A liar and total con man. Run. Run away. Every word from his mouth is a lie. Never follows through and never shows up when he says he will. Always has a million excuses. Horrible business ethics. Not dependable. Not trustworthy.

It has been a terrible experience and we will never do business with this company again. After the furniture was picked up we were told we needed to pick out material. It took over a month for Bennett Restrapping to get the sample materials to us. Steve Bennett said they were in the mail - no, they were not. I had to call and threaten to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to even get them to respond. They drove the samples up to us 2 days later. For 2 weeks, again, we heard nothing. It is toward the end of April. We start calling to find out when we might get our furniture. We called and called and left messages - no response. Finally, we actually talk to Steve Bennett only to get a bunch of excuses and not sure when he will be finished with our furniture. We asked him if he was doing a bunch of other jobs that came in after ours and he admitted he had. We told him ours came first and should be a priority. He said to check with him in another week. This has been going on until now. At one time he guaranteed us he would be finished by June 3, 2014. Again, we call and call and leave messages. He does not return our calls. We finally do talk to him only to get more excuses and to be told yet again the work was not done. He lies. He does not communicate with us. He is not trustworthy. I (the wife) called him yesterday morning (Thursday, June 12, 2014) and just told him to put our furniture back together and just return it to us - actually, I left a message. I also called and left a message this morning, June 13, 2014. So far, we have heard nothing. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau . Not sure if this will do any good. All we want, at this point is our furniture back. We aren't even sure if he has our furniture. I've asked him 3 times to send us pictures of what has been done and he hasn't even done that.
