The sales were very slow, no advertising, and staffing dropped. The 10 photographs/month were not done at all for several months and when they were done were mis-tagged. I would find that items were gone and ask about the sales - I would be told that nothing of mine had sold until I pulled out my phone to show the pictures of the items in the case. After the first month or so this was the only way to get any payment for my things. The last month they started not opening 1-2 days/week. When my lease was up I was owed for one item and found another missing - I could not get any payment for this ("the check is in the mail" story, phone calls not returned) - and three months later the store closed. The neighboring storekeepers told me I was not the only one looking for the Saldate-Aulds, I am still out about $70.
Description of Work: I rented a booth (glassed in shelving unit) to sell items, 7 days/week except holidays - the store was to collect payment, remit to me the money less their % and photograph up to 10 items/month for the website.
