Jhonny (Technician) came to our home and we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was on time and honest with his assessment. I will recommend Atlanta Appliances Repair to friends and use them again when needed.

While trying to drain the washer, we were afraid he was overheating or burning out the motor. However, he drained it found the clog and fixed it. The wall got scratched up in the process. I felt they overcharged us because we bought a deal from Angie's list that paid for the service call and gave a $55 credit towards the service. We were still charged $95 after that, and all he did was fix a clog...no parts replaced.

On time, very professional, quickly completed job(s) and NO drama!

Prompt and professional both trips out - replaced board with 90 day warranty on parts and labor. Definitely would recommend over so called "authorized" service companies.

. As I said above. They replaced the motor in August, it quit working again in December. They came out to diagnose why found that there was a sock blocking the motor Instead of charging me nothing because it was warranty work, or even the diagnostic fee, Charge me the $180 repair fee. And that was after I had called them four times over the course of five days to get them to respond. Will never, ever use this company again

They came out on a thursday and determined it was the board in the back of the refrigerator and had to order and replace it. They said it would be there on Saturday, and Saturday morning they were there to repace it. Refrigerator working fine since then. Very satisfied with service.

He suggested that I needed to replace 2 hoses (which I thought I did 6 months ago, but he said it looks like I replaced the pump, not hose). He was willing to give me a slight discount on this service, but at this point I am not willing to put any more money into this old washing machine!

First appointment on Monday 8/31- diagnosed problem, technician committed to having the parts ordered and someone would call to schedule second visit to fix. Received follow up call on Wednesday 9/2 for return visit on Friday 9/4- confirmed appointment. Technician called when he was 30 minutes away, both for first visit and for second visit- technician was prompt, professional, and kept the area he was working clean- I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use in the future!

He worked fast, and he was very honest and didn't try to sell us any unnecessary services. He could've repaired our washing machine and made money doing so, but he recommended to us to shop for a new one instead. He explained in great detail why repairing it would be similarly expensive to getting a new machine, and why it wouldn't make sense to do so. He also gave us some recommendations on new washing machines from his experience.

He came took apart the dryer and fixed ball bearings. After a few dryer loads it began making a funny noise again but he cam right back out and fixed another problem that was contributing to the noise. Very nice and professional!

Just wanted to let other members know, that I called several companies and I couldn't find better deal on a service call rate. I got lucky, I got a call from the dispatcher 30 min before technician came to the house, I was able to set the appointment the same day and I got my appliance repaired on the next day. Overall quality was great, good timing and very reasonable price.

I have been using these guys for years. This time we decided to replace washer and dryer. We bought a new washer and dryer from a local store. The delivery men who hooked up the new machines did a 15-minutes test cycle and there was a slight dripping that they said was fine and we don?t have to worry about, then they left. Somehow when they ran the test they broke one of the hoses inside the machine, and during the draining cycle it flooded our floor. At that point, I had given to this store too many chances to get it right but they failed to do so. I called my guys, and they came out in the next day, and since that day I don?t have any issues. It was a little bit pricey, otherwise they did a great job as usually!

I called around noon on a Thursday and scheduled a technician between 9-11 for the next morning. I was told I would get a call 30 minutes before arrival, which did not happen. He arrived at 9:15, didn't introduce himself by name and took 30 minutes to give me a diagnosis/estimate. The regular service call charge is $30, so don't think that the Big Deal price discounts that part. Our refrigerator has been making loud noises and giving error messages. The compressor is hot and it recently does not cool at times. The technician was unable to diagnose if the problem is the compressor or the start system. The price would be about $250 to replace the start system and that may not fix the problem, with a compressor replacement costing $500+ if that was the problem. This is a 3 year old $800 Kenmore refrigerator. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier and direct questions were not able to be answered like, "if the problem is the start system, would the compressor have been making loud noises and be this hot?" I don't know the industry well enough to know if I should expect a correct diagnosis off of these symptoms. It's never good to hear "we need to try this expensive repair before we'll know for sure and it may not even fix the problem." The technician was nice and I wish him well, but it was frustrating to have my questions answered with "I'm sorry, but do you want me to do this repair or not?" He did give me a tip of looking for a universal part if we want to try to fix it ourselves. So now, after an hour, I'm left with my head swimming trying to figure out the next course of action.

Service professional did not speak English. He mis-diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher, claiming that we were better off replacing the unit. The repair bill would run over 600 dollars. I did not believe him, because the unit is 2 years old. I called Electrolux. They came out and fixed the unit for free.

Issue stopped before the provider got to fix it.

They were very nice and very cooperative and gave me a full refund.

Extremely prompt and professional. They were unable to fix the washer/dryer but it was a very old unit. They said the disposal would be quite expensive to take apart and told my husband how to make repair himself. They fixed the icemaker.

The diagnosis was not quite correct. He said that they cooling system is broken inside and it would cost equivalent to the price of the fridge, and therefore it is not worth fixing. I did get another maintenance job done and it was fixed by removing and sealing some parts outside the fridge and it is working fine now. I would have spent nearly a 1000 dollars if I had listened to the advice provided.

Overall excellent, excellent. Very knowledgable, I would not hesitate to recommend or use there services again. Thank you for your timeliness, professionalism and patience with this old lady.. Job well done!

They were friendly, great customer service, they immediately knew what the problem was in just a few seconds and took less than 15 minutes to fix it, Great job!!!..highly recommended, even though their English was a bit poor lol, but they were good fellows.:)

I called them and got my appointment scheduled at the same day, the tech guy was very professional and polite, gave me a quote, completed all the job very quickly and professional. I checked other companies, they could not schedule my appointment on the same day and service call was way expensive.

AAR was very prompt and responsive after receiving my request for service. They were able to come out the following day and we were even more please when the technician (Johnny) called to ask if he could come early. He immediately identified the problem and quickly resolved it. We will definitely use this company again!

Very nice. Fast response on initial phone call, gave options for days/times. Offered same day service due to our location. Professional on phone and in person. Service provider was polite and respectful. Took time to explain problem. Offered full repair but explained may be more cost effective to just replace. Also offered to replace lesser expensive parts to get working better but not fully. Was not pushy about repairs, great explanations. Respectful and prompt. We will call them again for any repairs we need. It was a great experience to have someone be honest about a repair. I would recommend them.

Daniel and his assistant spent less than 10 minutes looking at the washing machine, ran the spin cycle for a couple of minutes, then Daniel proceeded to tell me, as much as I could understand with his accent, that there was nothing wrong with the washing machine. Really? I told him there certainly is something wrong, but he was adamant that nothing was wrong with our machine. I guess we just made it up in our heads. Maybe the computer? Maybe something else? He didn't bother to really do much. So, I bought a coupon for 30 bucks, and that covered the diagnostic visit, but now we have a washing machine with the same issues, and we will have to find someone else to come and look at the machine, who actually knows what they are doing. This is the second time I've had an awful experience with an Angie's List company that is rated very high. I am very disappointed that I have to pay for Angie's List and continue to have rotten experiences with companies that are rated very high. RESPONSE TO VENDOR COMMENTS: I don't know who the h*** came out to my home, since he didn't identify his name. I thought he said his name was Daniel, but since all of you have very thick accents, I guess I got mixed up on who came out here. The bottom line is this: You can't diagnose a problem that occurs between the end of the wash cycle moving to the rinse cycle in 10 minutes. Your tech stayed 10 minutes, then proclaimed nothing was wrong with the washing machine? Really? It runs on a computer, as I stated to the tech, and I relayed how the lid stays locked, the cycle gets stuck and you can't open the lid. Your tech didn't understand and/or didn't care. Did he stay 10 minutes because I had already paid for the diagnostic visit with a coupon? Probably. Then, as soon as your tech leaves--whatever his name was--I get a voicemail telling me to call you back if I hear the 'noise' again. Why? So you can come back out and either tell me there is nothing wrong, or, better yet, give me another free diagnostic service, then, the second time you find something wrong and charge me a lot of money? That's what is feels like. Yes, you did call me back after seeing the review and I got the voicemail. Why would I call your company, again, to come back after your tech just told me there was nothing wrong with my washing machine? I appreciate the phone calls, but, no, we will find someone else who can properly diagnose the issue, listen to the customer, and fix the problem. We did a load of laundry, yesterday and the same problem happened. Are we supposed to jump up at 8pm at night and call you to come over, right when the issue happens? Really? Get angry all that you want, but your tech was of no use whatsoever and you made 30 dollars, as I bought the coupon for your services. You cannot diagnose a problem in 10 minutes, period, but I guess that is what you figured the coupon was worth--10 minutes of consultation. I am now suspect of the rave reviews your company receives on Angie's List, as I am also suspect of Angie's List in general. Thank you for coming out, but we are now back at square one and I have 30 less dollars in my bank account and the washing machine is still acting up.
