"Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our service. We appreciate your business. If you need anything please feel free to call our office at 863-665-7164. Mark Collins - Owner"
"Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I appreciate your feedback. I would advise you to carefully compare the quality of the products, the warranty that covers the products, the company who manufactures the products and the company who will be installing the products. Replacement windows and doors are not all created equal. Nor are the manufactures making these products or the companies that offer installation services. Window World is the number one window replacement company in America for the past seven years running. JD Powers has rated us number one in customer service for the past two years, which is how long they have been ranking window and door replacement companies. Our manufacturer has been in business since 1947. The quality of our window and its components is unquestionable. The warranty that covers our products is the best in the business. When apples are compared to apples, we are the best buy for the money. If you have any questions about our products and services verses a competitor, please feel free to call me at 863-665-7164. Sincerely, Mark Collins - Owner"
I had called them back shortly after they left my house with a quote, and asked that they add another window to the current order. I called and called, with no return phone call. I can only surmise that they didn't want to add another window to the order because they wouldn't get their gigantic and quot;FEEand quot; again! So the next time I call them, I will ensure I have more than 2 windows that need replacement.
DO NOT have them replace one window without adding others to the order, or you'll be stuck paying a $200 FEE again!!
As for the service/professionalism, they did a TERRIFIC job and clean up after themselves. The only reason I would call them again is to ensure that all my windows match.
"Thank you for your review, I appreciate your input. I am sorry for the communication breakdown that obviously happened with your desire to add a window to your job. We do not have any record of your calling to request an additional window, nor do we have a record of repeated calls or voice mails that went unreturned as your review states, so I am unsure where the mix up occurred. We always want to help our customers get as much of their needed work done as possible under one contract. This is because we charge for certain set cost items on each contract, due to the fact that these costs are constant. The set costs I am referring to are covered in the $200 fee that you mentioned. This fee is actually two items on our contract; one being the site set up and landfill disposal, the other being the building permit. When we process the building permit we incur expenses preparing and submitting the application to the building department and use some of the $200 to cover these expenses. Some of the $200 also goes directly to the local building department. The building department charges us to process the application, issue the permit and inspect our work upon completion to ensure we have complied with all applicable building codes. These things are done to comply with the laws of the state of Florida and to protect the home owner. The costs involved with the building permit account for $150 of the $200. Part of the remaining $50 covers the time the crew needs to prepare for the job at our warehouse, the time to set up at the job site and the time back at the warehouse to clean the waste off their vehicle. Our lead installers are subcontractors and have expenses involved with crew time so some of the remaining $50 goes directly to them to offset these expenses. The balance of the remaining $50 covers the cost of properly disposing of the waste generated by the work we do. The windows we remove from the home, the protective packaging the new windows arrive in, the empty tubes of calk and other excess material must be disposed of. We divide the cost of this waste disposal equally across all of our jobs in order to be fair to all of our customers. Republic Services performs the task of handling our waste disposal and we use the remaining portion of the $50 to pay for their services. We strive to offer our customers the best value for their money and we do have set expenses with each job that we must charge for. This does result in a higher cost per window on small jobs compared to large ones but only because the set fees for site set up and landfill disposal, as well as the building permit are divided by fewer windows, we do not change what we charge for the windows themselves or the selected options, based on the quantity purchased. I would like to mention one final item, the approximate cost in your review. The amount of $1500.00 is somewhat overstated considering your actually contract total is $1034.00. When all things are considered; the quality of the product, the expert installation, the lifetime warranty, the other expenses involved with the work, I believe the total cost is very well justified. I was a bit scared as the price was around $5,000 that my second lowest bid, but as they had good reviews on Angie's list, I decided to go ahead.
They were a bit behind schedule, so they said it would be 6 weeks before they would be able to install them. 6 weeks latter to the dot, they were installing them. The windows were installed in 2 days, and they did an amazing job.
The windows are not only gorgeous, but my house is at least 5 to 6 F degrees cooler without the AC on. I foresee some big savings in my electric bill this summer.
I'm very satisfied, and happy to know that I won't have to buy windows until I move from my house.

"This gentlemen states we called him. We do not do outbound marketing, people call us in response to our advertising. He states we told him we would, "try and find someone in his area to give him a bid." We have dedicated professionals available six days a week who run a set schedule of appointments and are available to cover the area where this gentleman lives. We have no record of this gentleman ever contacting our office. This appears to be a case where this man has mistaken us for another company. If this gentlemen would like to have a free quote provided to him to replace his windows, he needs only to call us during our normal hours of 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday and we will be happy to set a scheduled time when he can expect us to arrive and provide him this service. He can reach us at 863-665-7164. Mark Collins - Owner"
4 weeks later, they called that our windows were delivered and ready for install. We had the crew here on a Saturday bright and early. They arrived on time and started working very quickly. I think there was a team of 4 or maybe 5 guys. Took them about 3 hours total to replace all 11 windows and the patio door. They were polite and knowledgeable. They even gave us an overview on the features of how to use the windows before they left. My only complaint would be that one of the men was a near constant smoker and his cigarette smoke was coming in the house since the windows were out while he was working. I have asthma that gets aggravated by things like cigarette smoke but I just turned the ceiling fan on and it wasn't a problem anymore.
All in all, we couldn't be more pleased. Our electric bill continues to go down each month thanks to the efficiency of these windows! They are beautiful to look at, easy to use, and have really made a difference in the appearance of our house. I would absolutely highly recommend Window World to anyone looking for windows and doors.
"Thank you for your business and your kind words. We strive to provide the exact type of experience you had with our company. If you need anything at all, please feel free to contact me directly. Mark Collins - Owner"

"Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. Your feedback has brought to light a flaw in our internal communication, which I took steps to correct today. As you and I discussed today, we will be in touch early next week to resolve the final remaining issue with your door. We appreciate your business and welcome any additional feedback you may have. Thank you for choosing Window World. - Mark Collins Owner"
They were very prompt, he came when he said he would, it was a free estimate, I had actually given him a deposit and then decided that I couldn't do it and then he refunded the whole thing.
"Thank you Member. We appreciate you allowing us to quote the project for your home. Wed look forward to earnng your future home improvement business. Mark Collins - Owner"
to please. Installation was on time and product was of good quality, however, the installer was surly and not very willing to talk or answer questions. He did a good job of installing the doors but the caulking job was terrible. Rather than deal with this individual again I bought a tube of caulk and finished the job myself. Five months later the doors are performing well and look great. As a side note the reason I went with Window World is that in 2005 Window World of Orlando replaced my original windows with vinyl replacement windows and the whole experience with them was A + all the way, great company and great follow up service on their warranty. Would give them A+ on every category.
"Thank you Member. I appreciate your honest feedback and will take steps to improve the way our installers interact with the homeowners. If you have any other issues, please feel free to call me directly and I will be happy to ensure a pleasent professional experience. We value your business and look forward to servicing your future home improvement needs. Mark Collins - Owner"
