My father passed away mid-August.  My mother has dementia, and as such, I am her responsible party, POA, Attorney - In-Fact.  My father had been the sole person taking care of all the finances.  When he passed away, I notified the acting Board Chair that any inquiries, etc.  should be directed to me - and I gave her my phone number as well as an alternate contact person.



My mother received in the mail this weekend a certified letter stating that Stambaugh would be placing a lien on their property in 30 days if the Association dues were not paid up immediately.  I was not even aware of the Association dues amounts.  When I called today to ask why Tanisha had waited so long to contact me regarding the past due dues, she said that she had tried to get in touch with someone but no one returned her calls.  I asked her if she had called another Board member to get a contact name and number in light of my father's death.  She said she had and they didn't know of anybody.  I said Are you sure?  Did you speak with Alice

*****?  She said yes, she had contacted Alice (Board Chair) and Denny (Co-Chair) and that neither knew who to contact.  This is an out and out lie.  She did NOT contact either of these people (I checked - and both said of course they would have provided my information if they had been asked).   I have a real issue with someone who cannot own up to any mistake handling funds and services for others.  All she had to say was I overlooked the account until it was 60 past due and I had to follow protocol.  But No, she chose to lie about trying to contact someone.



How said that a grown person feels the need to lie like a 7 year old.

They are wonderful. They do a great job of maintaining our properties. For example, last year we had friends that had a leak in their condo and they couldn't’t get anyone to do anything for 3 months with other property management companies. This same situation happened again to another friend who emailed Stambaugh. Stambaugh emailed them right back with who would come out to do the work and when they could do it. They do their best to take care of any problems that may occur. They always have a good attitude. They don’t allow for anyone to work on our property without them being licensed and bonded. When they first started with our condominium association they started work immediately. They are a high quality service.
