The overall experience was top notch.? We dealt with Wally and Greg for the floors and Judy for the blinds.? They were very professional, efficient and most helpful.? Their prices were lower than their competitors, yet the products and service were superb!? Highly recommend!

An in home consult was provided prior to the purchase.  We also had an in shop consultation. The gentlemen provided professional service, removing and replacing the carpet in a matter of hours.   I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs flooring replaced.

     I think I explained it above. I would recommend them anytime as they have done such a good job on all the floors they have done. Great people to do business with.

.The guys at Blackburns were very accommodating and patient with me. It took me a couple of months to decide what I wanted, and they had no trouble letting me take  samples home for weeks at a time to live with and make my final decision.
They did a great job. The workers arrived on time, were polite and quiet, and worked hard the whole time they were here. The carpet looks great, and they didn't break anything.
Wally, the owner, came to our house afterward to check the work and make sure that we were happy.

Very professional from start to finish of job. When job was completed everything was put in place and all debris was hauled away. We couldn't be more pleased with their workmanship.

I liked the person who came out. The price was very good. He did a few little extra things as well, so we were happy with them. The price was low. I thought it was more than fair than what I was being quoted otherwise.

Project went well. I was the one that stalled the job due to illness. Things went easy for us as I had work experience in administering a home rehabilitation in the past. I wrote specifications for the scope of work, checked for the necessary insurances, and issued progress payments based on work performance. Last payment was not made until the final check list was completed.
They were nice people to have work for us.

Thrilled with the outcome!  Installers were great and I couldn't be happier!

On June 29th as the carpeting was being pulled up, I found out they did not have enough product to do the floor and had been aware it was on backorder since the initial order was placed on June 5."We kept expecting it" The installers worked Mon-thurs as it was a holiday w/e then came back the next Monday - Tues. I work 12 hour nights and had to work wed thurs fri that second week. By Friday July 23rd!!!, all of the flooring and most of the 4 inch decorative baseboard was in. I then found out there was not enough baseboard for the closets as "Wally" didn't think I would want the same baseboard EVERYWHERE . Today July 29th the final bits of baseboard were installed. The installers were gone for 30 minutes before Mr Blackburn showed up for final payment. In partial compensation for my aggravation, they are doing valences for 2 windows at no additional charge. HOWEVER the baseboards I decided on "were not in the original estimate and are an extra $1200.00" The installer did a very good job - needs reminding about proper ventilation when using sprays and adhesives. My "A" grade for punctuality goes strictly for the installers showing up on time and when they said they would be here. The "B" for professionalism is because they never argued about the whole debacle being their fault. Not an "A" due to lack of communication with me - the customer - about availability of products and ASSUMING for what ever reason I would not want the same baseboard in the closets as everywhere else. The "A" for quality is for the actual quality of the product. It does look awesome now that it is all in place. In the meantime, in speaking with others who have used this company, their response was "why didn't you tell me you were considering them - I had a bad experience". Overall "D" is for my lost vacation time, waiting around time, frustration and time spent being very upset for the apparent lack of action and for the almost 2 weeks of living with bare concrete floors in the kitchen, dining room, entry way and both bathrooms. It is also for (in light of all the time I spent waiting for them), you would think they could wait a couple of days before showing up for payment. The owner showed up 30 minutes after the installers left for the last time for his payment. Finally, installers told me as they were leaving "you know we don't get paid until Wally does". He HAD 50% up front, PAY the guys!
