Mike was very prompt with estimate. Showed up on time and worked late until job was done. We have had other tree services and they were the best. We will use them again as the need arises.

They are hired for another tree in my yard next month.

Karney Tree Service did a great job start to finish. They were quick to respond - I had a reply to my initial email within minutes. Friendly and courteous on the phone - they called when they were supposed to and were prompt for their appointment. The tree was removed carefully and they cleaned up very well. They even offered to take away some smaller trees that we had cut ourselves. Very satisfied...they will be my first call whenever we have need in the future.

We are vey happy with how the trees look now and how quickly they got the job done. They cleaned the property of all debris and hauled the branches and tree away. We also had Mike trim some lower branches off a big Magnolia tree in the backyard and now it is much easier to mow around. I would highly recommend Mike and his team and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future tree trimming services. They exceeded our expectations!

We had Karney tree out for a quote last week and had them perform a trim on two unruly oaks in our front yard. They did a beautiful job and were very fast. We will call them out again for sure!

They did $1200 worth of work for $500. I know this because I'm a property manager with 22 years of experience. I have had 100's of contractors work for me. There are a lot of fair companies out there, but few great ones. This company is great. They were quick, effective, price well and they went above and beyond which makes them great. I will be giving this company more of our business.

Mike provided an estimate the same day and was able to perform job two days later. With years of experience, he has a good eye for what needs to be done (trees trimmed as opposed to removed). Price seemed fair. Great to work with. Will hire again.

Mike arrived within hours of our phone conversation to give us an estimate. We hired him on the spot. He and his team went to work immediately. They were swift and thorough from start to cleanup. It was a pleasure doing business with such a competent and reliable tree service company.

Mike and his crew were super professional and efficient. Mike provided an honest assessment of the work involved and recommended taking down a queen palms vs. trimming because it was already dying and would have to be removed later anyway. He and his team did an excellent job with the oaks and they cleaned up very well afterwards, leaving no sticks or debris behind.

Everything went very well. Mike Karney cut the tree down and his 2 person staff ground limbs down. Cutting down tree took 2 days. It was very hard work because this tree was at least 30-50 years old and very, very big. Overall it took at least 12 hours just to cut down tree. Then the stump/root grinder showed up and did a great job also. He totally ground down a big stump and a lot of roots. That job took at least 7 hours. Then Mike and crew showed up and cleaned up front yard. Mike could not believe how much was there for cleanup. Thankfully Mike and crew did the cleanup for me. I did have to negotiate cleanup as a separate part of bid as it is not part of bid process. Cleanup took another 3 hours. This was a very big job and Mike and staff did a magnificant job and were very professional but what I most appreciated was how honest they are. I found that in the tree business it is very hard to find honest people but Mike Karney impressed me from the beginning as being honest and hard working. And thankfully he proved to be honest and hardworking and a perfectionest.

Lightning hit our large oak. I called Karney Tree Service and Mike came out to inspect the tree. He was very professional and honest enough to recommend not cutting it now, but recommended watching for dead limbs and leaves, and bark falling off the tree. When this occurs then some trimming or total removal may become necessary. I got a second opinion and they totally agreed. I commend his honesty for not recommending severe cutting or total removal.

Mike responded quickly to my call and set a date to come quote on the work I wanted done. He is a quiet, thoughtful man who took his time accessing the trees in my yard and really listened when I explained what I wanted done. Mike and his crew were very conscientious about the work they did on my trees. They actually spread the chipped mulch in my driveway and cut up the cut would for my woodpile too-something I hadn't expected. They wanted to make sure that as a customer I was happy with their work and I was. I have recommended Karney Tree Service to several friends and would suggest them for other Angie's List subscribers. A really good company.

Mike and his crew arrived on time and got right to work....He is meticulous and very careful and took his time and did exactly what we wanted. He even pointed out some things we had not thought of or noticed. We have had 3 other tree services over the past 32 years including one of the largest in Orlando but none of them could hold a candle to Mike and his crew. He quoted an excellent price and honored the quote. I would recommend him and his crew any time for virtually any tree work you need to have done.

The trees look great, when we have bad storms, the trees don't sway like they used to, as the wind can now move through the trees! The big tree in the front was done one morning, and the two in the backyeard were done the next morning. They cleaned up after themselves, and the yard looks great! My neighbor commented on the great work and ask for a referral.

Mike and his crew came to my home to provide an estimate and we agreed to terms. Mike also provided a 10% discount as an Angie's list member. They came back to my home as scheduled and performed the work agreed upon. Other than a small indention in the back of the lawn where they fell a humongous oak tree, one could not tell they had even been present that day. Excellent work and my yard looks great - Thanks Mike and crew!

They were on time and did the work requested. They did such a good job cleaning up you could hardly tell they had been there.

I called for a quote over the phone, which was provided. An appointment was scheduled at that time to provide an actual quote after seeing the area. I needed to cut two Norfolk Pines located between my house and my neighbor's. Upon inspection, each one of the two trees was composed of multiple "branches" (two on one and five on the other one) all almost as tall as the main tree which he estimated was about 45 feet.. One was in the front of a fence the other one on the other side of the fence. A panel of the fence needed to be removed to access the tree. They showed up on time (actually about 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled time) and took down the first tree before it got dark. They cleaned the area before leaving. We agreed for a second visit to take down the second one. He was respectful of my time and called to keep me posted on the time and that weather conditions may affect the job. They did come as expected, removed the fence panel, cut down the second tree composed of the five branches, replaced the fence and cleaned the area before leaving. The original price was $1200 and after an "Angie's List" discount, it came to $1080. I am very please with their service and will definitely use them again if I need to.

When the actual work was done they arrived at approximately 9am, and began work right away. I met with the owner, and we reviewed the work that I wanted done to the trees. They worked quickly and did a good job. I was very happy with the end product, as the trees turned out just the way I had hoped. The clean up was better than I had hoped as well, with no evidence that they had been there. The end price was near $600, slightly higher as there was a disease in the trees that needed to be cut out. Very easy yet professional to deal with. Surely would recommend and have them back for more work when needed.

I called Mike and he answered right away and we setup a time for him to come out and do an estimate, he came out the following week and arrived on time and even waited a bit at my front door knocking cause I was in the backyard when he showed up.. He gave me a few estimates on the different things I needed done and quoted me about 1k or so for everything. I took the info and called him back a few weeks later to setup a time. They showed up on time and worked till almost 9 o'clock at night taming my yard.. My house looks like a new house no more branches on my roof no more dead branches it looks AMAZING they were professional and even asked if I wanted some firewood and cut me a bunch for my firepit and when I went to grab some of the other wood they had cut they informed me that this type was not good for fire pits and breathing the fumes is not good for you and showed me the pile they had already made next to my PIT!!! Amazing service and worth penny!

I called Mike on Tuesday and I caught him in the middle of something. He asked if he could call back in ten minutes and that exactly what he did. I told him what I needed and ask what it would cost for him to do it. I also stated that I was a member of Angie's list and I see that he had a 10% of coupon, Mike gave me a quote on the phone and set up a time for the next morning to do the work. We set the time for 10 AM. Mike called about 9:30 AM, said good morning and apoligozed that he was going to be a little late getting to me. There was some kind of delay at the dump, and if you have ever been to a dump, you would understand that is very possible. He stated that he was dumping his load and would be to me at 10:30 AM. He also stated that he had email me a updated quote for the job. I had already looked at the email and the quote was actually a little less that the original quote. He arrived at 10:31 AM and I showed him what I would like to have done. He started on it right away. They put down tarps to collect all the falling parts and pieces and made the palms look very nice. They are very efficient and clean. They did a quick clean up and were done in probably one hour. You would never even know they were there except for the great looking palms they left behind. Mike is very professional at his job. Great communication, also. Mike also email me a final bill showing that it was paid. Very nice overall experience with Karney Tree Service. Will use him again to trim the palms.

We called Karney tree service and spoke to Mike the owner, we were able to set a day for the estimate and Mike showed up on time and was very easy to deal with. We told him what we needed and he gave us an estimate. The estimate was more than fair and we agreed on a date to start work. I am very happy with the quality of work they performed and I have Karney Tree Service lined up for a second job. Thanks Mike and Arthur for a job well done.

Mike was extremely responsive and professional from start to finish. He returned my call in less than an hour (it may have been even less than that), and came out within the next few days to give an estimate. The price was fair and I really needed the trees trimmed - they had been left untrimmed for several years, and branches were hanging over the house. After giving me the estimate, and I agreed to it, they offered to start work right away. They did a large portion of the work that afternoon, and worked with my schedule to come back and finish the work on another day. The work was done efficiently and to my satisfaction. The trees are no longer encroaching on the house, and I can have peace of mind regarding what will happen when storms come through. Oh, and the trees look much better too - although that was a side benefit of addressing the safety issue. Mike also cleaned up some lower branches of a fifth tree in the back corner of our yard that was not threatening the house, but not especially nice to look at. I was especially impressed by Mike's use of technology to run a very professional business. All documentation (written quote, etc) was emailed to me immediately from his smartphone, which I appreciate because I won't lose an email, and didn't have to wait for it to be typed up.

I had called to get an estimate and he said if I wanted him to he could take them down that same day. His price was reasonable so I went ahead and it worked out great. He was able to cut the palm trees very close to the ground which was a concern because I am getting a new fence installed and they were in the way. They did a good job of cleaning up the area afterwards and I am very pleased with the results. Mike impressed me with his personable, professional manner- he knows what he is doing. Oh, and I should point out that the palm trees were up against the fence and he got the trees removed with no damage to the fence. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again as well as recommend him to friends and neighbors.

The HOA was on our case about several trees lining the road on our property and despite numerous requests for a service recommendation they just sent more letters threatening fines and fees. After being frustrated by full schedules and being passed off by other services, Mike Karney was very prompt, polite, and professional. It was a breath of fresh air. He was able to schedule a time that worked with our busy schedules and gave a fair quote for the job. The HOA is happy, and we are very happy with the work that Mike and his team did. Mike knew the area and knew the HOA guideline we were in violation of. He turned a nightmare problem for us into a manageable issue that could be solved in a timely manner.

Mr. Kareny was a pleasure to work with. He was the first to come out and give an estimate. He promptly repsonded when I had follow up questions. He came on the day he said he would and did an excellent job.
