Our initial contact with Reedy Plumbing was in December 2015 when Reedy Plumbing responded to our need for an emergency reroute of our main water line. At that time, we had heard of Reedy Plumbing’s Annual Maintenance/Service Contract and asked about it. Brian Paskert/Lead Technician on the reroute had noted our house had just finished being remodeled (kitchen, bar area, master bath, and guest bath) and advised while we could get the Annual Maintenance Service Contract that given the recent house upgrade it would not be advantageous to us given the newness of our primary plumbing system. Based on Mr. Paskert’s honesty, we decided that when time had passed, we would reengage with Reedy Plumbing. In May of 2021 disaster struck when our water pressure on our house water line and sprinkler/outside faucet water line dropped significantly. After excellent assistance from the Hillsborough Water Utility the cause was determined to be our problem and we decided to contact Reedy Plumbing to not only fix the water pressure issue but to activate the Annual Maintenance Service Contract. May 19, 2021, Mr. Clint Paskert conduct an in-depth plumbing inspection of our entire home and activated the Maintenance/Service Contract. Reedy Plumbing’s Clint Paskert along with two apprentice plumbers Jason and Andrew on June 7, 2021, came to our home to verify the trouble shooting we had done with Mr. Tom Jackson of the Hillsborough Water Utility. The results of that work including fixing the water pressure issue and fixing the eight areas of improvement, which the labor was covered under the Service/Maintenance Contract and parts were at a reduced cost but also identified a major code-violation in the plumbing of the kitchen sink and provided a detailed estimate of work and cost to fix the code-violation, which if we wanted to sell our home, it had to be fixed. During this work visit the organization, the work ethic, and team communication observed was outstanding. As well all work areas were protected and then left as clean or cleaner than before the work started. We accepted the estimate for the code-violation work and on June 22, 2021, Mr. Clint Paskert and apprentice Andrew arrived to tackle the code-violation plus two other items we had requested to be addressed. Given the cabinets were newly installed in 2015 and were high-end cabinetry Mr. Paskert who had to go through the back of the cabinets, chip into a concrete wall with the intent of not disturbing the sheet rock on the opposite side in the dinning room, find the section of pipe that technically was too high thereby causing the code violation, remove that section, and then install the proper pipping so that the drainage was up to existing code requirements. Total success was achieved, and a minimal amount of damage was done to the cabinetry in the ‘back’ of the cabinet that is not visible and the sheet rock/paint on the opposite side was not disturbed in any way, shape, or form. During the entire process, with the assistance of apprentice Andrew, the work was slow and meticulous, the work area was kept clear of debris by stopping work and removing the debris, reexamine the work area to determine where the pipping was (remember there is no As-built drawing showing how and exactly where the pipping was running…); however, that was overcome by Mr. Paskert’s lifetime experience in this line of work and the removal of the concrete wall was minimal and the problem was fixed. Mr. Paskert advised us that while the problem was fixed, he was coming back to make the area that was chipped away cosmetically correct. Mr. Paskert and apprentice Andrew then completed the two additional plumbing requests that we had made and as before, left the work areas as clean or cleaner that when they started. It is rather simple, Reedy Plumbing’s Clint Paskert and the two apprentice plumbers Andrew and Jason are the definition of Professionals! Besides their expertise the friendly approach the take with their clients is equally as noteworthy; they make you feel that this is their property and that it is important to make sure everything looks and works as designed. For as long as we own this property and then when we leave it to our children, we will have the Annual Maintenance Service Contract with Reedy Plumbing so that IF there are any plumbing issues in the future, we know they will be addressed quickly, professionally, and like it was their own property.
