Everything went as planned and Keith was top notch in his approach and work.

From the call to schedule the appointment, to the technician, Carlos Nino, everyone was polite and courteous.  Carlos arrived at the scheduled time, we discussed the job and I was provided with an estimate.  Carlos did the work for me and kept me informed of everything that was being done. He was very polite, friendly and courteous.  The job was completed to my satisfaction and I would highly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

Needed a new electrical box and from the time I called to get a quote to the end when the job was done Mr Keith was very professional, he came to my home and replaced my old box in about 5 hours, he was very punctual and everything he said was done exactly the way he explained. Excellent job!

I had sent an email to multiple electricians I had found here on Angie's ne List.  Keith (of Essex) was definitely the "early bird," responding to me IMMEDIATELY!  He had sent me an email response, as well as sent me a text message, and phoned me!
My schedule is very difficult to accommodate, and Keith was sure to come out to my home immediately.  Early the morning of my initial contact, he was at my home, inspecting the problem, and offered me a solution.  In fact, he was even able to take care of the work THAT DAY!!  I had looked into having this work done in the past, but simply hadn't done so as of yet, due to costs.  Keith was able to provide me with a cost that was VERY competitive to the estimates I'd gotten previously. 
Given the level of professionalism and attentiveness (as well as the positive feedback and reviews I found here on Angie's List), I was extremely comfortable in choosing Keith and Essex for the job.
The work itself was PERFECT!!  Keith had sent me pictures of the work being done throughout the process, further reassuring me of my choice in his company.  Many companies/contractors will often NOT want their customer to see the actual process of completion, and just want to get paid.  He was meticulous in his work, and everything was done perfectly.  In fact, he really went above and beyond my expectations-- He took care of finding the matching paint, and painted the box the appropriate color.  We hadn't even discussed the painting of the box, but he went out of his way to FULLY COMPLETE the job successfully.
When everything was done, he had ensured my satisfaction with the job. 
I couldn't be happier with my choice of this company.  Start to finish, everything went exceptionally well!  I DEFINITELY recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and (very) reasonable electrician.  A+++++++

Without even having to come out, he advised me to check the power lines to see if there was a problem, and he turned out to be correct. I have used him in the past, and he is very genuine, friendly, honest, and hard-working.

Keith arrived promptly for what I thought would be a very simple job in changing the bulb in my pool light. Unfortunately it transpired that not only had the light fixture completely burned out, but it was a very expensive multi colored Hayward light. I certainly did not want to spend the $500-$600 necessary to replace that particular light as all I really wanted was a regular pool light. Keith very kindly accompanied me to purchase a new regular pool light and then fitted it into the pool for me. As anyone who has done it knows fitting a pool light, while not complex, can be challenging. Keith did a great job and was very pleasant and cheerful. I am very happy that my pool is once again illuminated at night and I will certainly be using Essex Electrical and Keith again.

The whole experience went very well.  I found Essex using an online electrician search tool I found by googling "electricians" in my zip code.  Keith responded within minutes and quoted me a very reasonable price to replace the interior electrical panel in our home.  He was able to perform the work on the day we needed.  He showed up about 20 minutes early and was done well before his estimated time.  My husband stayed at home while he performed the work and was very impressed with Keith's professionalism.  We had him out a second time the following week to replace the exterior panel.  Again, he was punctual and efficient.

I have been pleased with the prices that I have received from them.  As a property manager I have worked with many contractors.  The work Essex electrical had done for my clients was excellent.  My father is an electrician for 40+ years an even he was impressed by the pictures Keith had sent to me of the completed panel.  This guy has pride in his work, it is apparent, and appreciated. I obtained a quote for replacing my old fuse box with a circuit breaker panel and the day and time was set. Keith was early and very professional. The quality of his work was excellent, He was very hardworking and polite.This job took approx 5 hours He offered to run a electrical line for my refrigerator since the power had to be shut off. I will be keeping Essex Electrical Service at the top of my list for any kind of electrical work that needs to be done.I would definitely recommend him to others
