Zero customer service. Poor quality. Spa is leaking in four places despite paying for the upcharge for "waterproofing" Have a $9,000 estimate from another company to fix it!! Totally unresponsive, refuse to honor their warranty. Just a terrible experience. Reached out to Kim by phone and e mail and gave her many opportunities to do the right thing before writing this review but she wasn't interested. Warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on!!

We had a great experience the crews did a great job with great attention to detail. There was some issues with a supplier that we cannot hold against Southern Pool Plasters. They called with updates and kept us involved during the entire process. The office staff and field supervisors always took our calls and responded with accurate info not just “lip service”. The open dialogue is very refreshing in today’s society. My wife selected all the materials and colors while Southern Pool Plasterers made our pool and outdoor space a work of art. This is were we spend most of our time when not working and our dream is now a reality. The process is easy allow their crews to do their work they are awesome. We appreciate everything Southern Pool Plasterers did and are extremely pleased with their craftsmanship.

I am very disappointed with Southern Pool Plasterers. First, they incompetently started the job on my pool by applying a thick calcium blocker on the areas where tile was to be placed. The product was too thick in spots, running all over and not applied in other areas that needed it. What’s more, they had no experience with the particular product, I was the guinea pig. A few days later they had to remove this product and apply a new one. They left a significant mess after the plaster job. My brick pavers were covered in a white powder/film, there was a mortar like substance staining many pavers, they left filthy gray/white water/powder all over my landscaping, they left rubbish, runoff and debris throughout my front yard. My poolside fencing was filthy. They did not clean some areas around the pool at all. Where they did clean they pressured washed and simply blasted the dirt to areas they did not pressure wash leaving me to spend many hours cleaning up after them. Most importantly, I had white blemish spots in the blue finish of my pool. They also left broken tile in some of my external cabinets as they did not cover the opening where my grill was removed from. It was never cleaned up properly costing me 3 hours of my time to remedy. When my pool contractor raised these issues with them they made excuses, sought delays and were most unresponsive. As the days went on they became threatening. My pool contractor and I spent over 12 hours trying to remediate some of the issues left behind. I pressured washed the pool area three times to no avail. We were forced to brush and acid wash pavers by hand to remove the white film and grime. They returned once clean and addressed a few but nowhere near all the issues. Worse still nobody came to look at the white spots/errors in the plaster finish. They stated they would come, picked a time, and simply did not show up. They did show up unannounced to collect a tank they left behind. They never followed up at all. These people only care about taking your money, there is no after sales service and clients are treated with wanton indifference. I find this disgraceful and pathetic given the objective issues we faced. I strongly suggest not using this unprofessional company ever.

All workers did A+ work. Each crew had a specialty and did their work to perfection. As a female owner Kim Allert is a specialist and professional in her field of repairing pools. Her office staff Karen, Jill, and salesperson Brian are very courteous, and professional

The work was done very well. The price was great. The problem i experienced with this company is the complete lack of communication. You never know when they will actually show up, they claim to call you right back but never do, they dont seem to know where their workers are or whom is responsible for what. i did have a minor issue with the job when it was completed that they eventually took care of (almost 3 weeks later) but it took 6 phone calls and 3 different people to come look at it. This of course after i had sent pictures the day they finished. Again i will say the work was good and price was great. They need to practice customer service better.

The did the whole pool.  They did a good job on that, but I had a leak.  It just took them forever before they came back to take care of the leak.  They did a very good job.  I have to say they did a really good job.  They didn't come when I needed them too. It was a good price.  Believe it or not, it was a really good price.  Quality was excellent. Responsiveness was the big problem.  They didn't come when I needed them. They just didn't come.  If they had come then, they were great.  I mean, they really did a good job. I don't think I would use them.  I would say the work is excellent, but they didn't come when they needed to come.  The work was wonderful.  I mean, they really did a beautiful job on the pool.  But when I needed them to come for the leak, they didn't come for three weeks.  I mean, three week without a pool, in the hot summer, when that's about the only time we really use it.  Because otherwise, it's really expensive to heat.  They really did a good job and we were very pleased with the work.

From start to finish, these people were great. They came out promptly to give us an estimate. They explained all of our options and made recommendations. They gave us a quote on site. After agreeing to the quote, we scheduled a date at our convenience. The whole process took around four days. The pool looks fantastic.

We just filled the pool this weekend and I am thrilled with the job they did. Everyone was truly helpful and knowledgeable. The finish looks better than when we first built the pool in 1999...

They did an excellent job period! Price was fair and the workmanship was beautiful. My pool looks like the day it was build.

Great. They did what they said when they said for the price they said. It's beautiful ! They have the lowest install price but be sure you recognize that pool refill is on city water, call your water company to get a discount Curing service is high but is quality and totally optional

Anyone knows living is South Florida and finding a company that is professional, knowledgeable in their field of expertise and reliable to complete the job on time and to your expectation is a feat in it self. I have to say that Southern Pool Plasterer receives a check mark on all of the above. Kim and her team from sales to putting the pool back in service was above and beyond. Needless to say the resurfacing job her team did was completed when they said it would be and it came out beautiful. I would highly recommend Souther Pool Plasterers to anyone looking to get their pool resurface. Thanks Kim to you and your team for a job well done from a happy customer.

Look no further for your pool replastering! Everything from start to finish was awesome. From Kim in the office to the sales rep Brian, everything was done with honesty and professionalism. Any questions I had, Kim got back to me within the hour. They don't ask for a down payment before the work starts, only after the project was completed, which is unusual these days. The job was completed in just a few days. The crew of workers slaved in the hot sun and did a fantastic job. They moved all my furniture and put everything back and left my patio clean. The pool looks fabulous! My husband and I were glad we chose Southern Pool Plasters. We were extremely satisfied and they are a top notch company!

Went great , crew was great and on time and did great work! I would recommend this great company for pool remodels and plaster.

They did a great job for a fair price. Only issue was the communication with the owner, she was not responsive sometimes.

The whole operation from start to finish was without fault. The fiberglass surface was removed using chisel hammers and there was minimal disruption (dust residue, etc.) to my deck area. After removal the surface was prepped for the plaster application. This was accomplished a couple of days later without fault. Clean-up was meticulous. All personnel that I had contact with were cordial and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company(Southern Pool Plasterers, Inc.) to anyone wanting a professional pool "redo". The pool was filled using a filter and appropriate chemicals added to complete the process. It was a pleasure spending money with this company !!    

The job overall went very well. There was a bit of a complication on the grouting of the tile however they resolved the issue and we are very satisfied.

Southern Pools did a AWSOME Job. They were very processional, on-time and did not disturbe my Landscaping. Kim came on-time for the appointment, gave me a great price and did the job. Her crew did an AWSOME Job and was always on-time and professional. Kim did not nickle and dime me, the price she quited was the price I paid. Other contractors wanted more for the job and wanted to charge me more for little items. The pool looks amazing and I love my backyard/pool again. I had them install a LED light and what a difference it make the pool look at night. I would recommend Kim and Southern Pools to anyone else and 4 of my nieghbors has used Souther Pools after they seen my pool and all of them  have been very happy with the work sone.
I am the president of my HOA and we had Souther Pools resurface our community pool and now it looks perfect and leak free. We have had so many of the homeowners ask who did the community pool so they can use them when they need their pools resurfaced. I can only say good thing about how processional and good work Kim and Southern Pool has done. If you want to come look at my pool, you are welcome to see their work.

Southern Pool Plasterers Inc. resurfaced our pool and spa.   Kim was promt in meeting with us to discuss the needs for our pool.  She was cheerful and courteous in all our encounters and gave great instructions on the care of starting the pool back up.  The crew was very professional and helpful.   We really appreciated the extra WOW they provided by keeping everything neat and clean.

Southern Pool Plasterers gave a great price. Unfortunately,  It was too good to be true.  The owner Kim, made me feel comfortable by offering "no deposit and no money until the job was 100% done along with a 10 year warranty".  About 18 months after the job was completed, I noticed a dark gray large cloud-like stain literally growing in the deep end of  the pool.  I called Kim to report the issue.  After about 2 months of effort including numerous calls and messages, she finally came out to inspect.  She came up with all kinds of ridiculous excuses.  All of which placed the blame on me.   I'm 50 years old and I've never sued
anyone for anything.  However, I finally threatened to take legal action.  Kim then stated  "The warranty may be applicable, but it only
covers materials.  Further,  I would need to submit my complaint to directly to Diamond Brite . . . By the way, the materials were probably a total cost of $250.   I hope this review saves someone else from wasting their money.  Pick another company . . .
