Technician arrived within window after receiving a courtesy call earlier just to let me know it would be near the end of the window. He did a very detailed job of cleaning all coils and checking everything took a good 45 minutes to and hour. I think it was a very good value for my money.

The owners are outstanding people & so are the installers they have working for them. I wouldn't have any problem referring them to anyone that needs a new ac or service.

Fantastic!  I messaged Gulfstream through Angie's and wrote that time is of the essence since, based on my experience, so many other companies offering Angie's Deals make those customers wait and wait for service that isn't urgent.   The company rep. replied in writing within hours!  She was professional, agreeable, cooperative and promptly scheduled my routine maintenance.  Gulfstream shows that they want your business and will come out and earn future business.  STEVEN J. (or Jr.) arrived on time, was professional, respectful, and performed his work without rushing.  He was meticulous and showed great pride in his work.  Steven completed everything on the list of work described and went above and beyond any other HVAC company I've had do routine cleaning.  He, as opposed to so many other company male technicians, talked to me like I am an adult with a brain. I've owned properties with AC for 35 years, and, he didn't assume otherwise; he respected that I just may have bought this service from others in the past for many years.  I certainly have.  Hey, I've owned houses since he was in elementary school. That's important to me, respectful communication.  As opposed to previous service providers, Steven actually SHOWED ME and demonstrated the design problems with my relatively new air handler and attic, things no one in 8 years of owning this property has noted and informed.  No work is urgent as Steven assured me and he gave me no "hard sell."  Key!  Because of this, I WILL CONTACT GULFSTREAM WITHIN A YEAR to address my builder's poor design. I highly recommend Gulfstream and Steven.

I obtained price quotes from four contractors.  Steve Tota from Gulfstream performed the most thorough evaluation to calculate the required cooling capacity that would be best fit considering the size, age of my house.  When you read online, it is not good to have a system too large - two of the contractors tried to sell me a system that was over-sized as they did not perform any services to determine the appropriate size.  One contractor took several days to get me a quote, then all I received was a dollar amount, no indication of brand or even SEER rating.  On the other hand, the quote from Steve arrived later the same day and included model numbers, the details of all the services to be performed, the manufactures  literature, and a recent consumers report article with ratings for various AC brands. Gulfstream provided a quote for two different brands so I had options for my budget.  They were by far the most professional and complete and I chose them to replace my old AC.  I could not be happier with my decision. They arrived timely, were incredibly neat and clean.  The closet with the air handler was in horrible condition since my old unit was from 1994.  He did an amazing job of cleaning up that area and now it is a pleasure to open the door and look inside.  The unit, which is a Bryant, is soooo quiet and keeps my house in perfect cooling and humidity range.  The outside unit is quiet as well. I am so pleased that I am hoping they can come to my other house further north in Florida and replace my unit there.  They are honest, reliable, neat, professional and provide top-notch service at a reasonable price.

When the tech brought out the part to fix the ac unit, it was a wrong part.  If he had checked the part before leaving the supply shop for us, he would have noticed it was incorrect.  Because it was approaching 5pm, he said he would need to come back tomorrow, but it may be another tech.  Since the ac unit was taken apart and left on our floor, and a new tech may have to be assigned, we called the office shortly before 5pm to voice our concern over this, and  ended up arguing with the office girl, rather than being transferred to the owner.   When the owner got the message of our dilema, he contacted us immediately, and sent another tech out first thing the next day with the correct part, and it was fixed.  If you need additional service with this company,  ask to speak with the owner, not the office staff.  We were happy the ac was fixed quickly.

Called for AC inspection and tune-up. They were able to schedule for the same day. Anibal, the technician, arrived on time and completed the job perfectly. My old AC unit is running great. Was able to use the Angie's List coupon. Service was excellent all around. Will definitely call for my future AC needs.
