Prompt response to initial call; good suggestion to replumb the entire house due to second pipe leak in slab. Job took about ten days due to two plumbers quitting the company. Synder was able to provide us with qualified help to get the job done. We were not easy to work with as we had several workmen in at the time doing various jobs. Parts of the job stretched out past the two week period but Snyder was always prompt and pleasant about getting a tech out when we needed him. Very happy with their service and will be our "go to" plumbers for the duration of our stay in Vero.

The price they did this for was less than half what another contractor quoted, and they chose a route for the main pipe that made more sense to me. This job involved a lot of manual work in a crawl space, and they ended up doing a great job. Workers were professional and polite. They worked with the people installing the new septic system and made trips to Viera for permitting. They stayed in contact with me and did an overall great job on this challenging project.

They came on time and seemed to know what they were doing. The problem was that it took them three hours to find a leak that wasn't there. It was coming from the outside and they couldn't fix it because it wasn't their problem. It took three hours to find out that it wasn't a leak and it still cost me $315. I am not happy and would not use them again.

We have rental property and live in a different state. The tenant reported loss in water pressure and water saturation on the exterior of the house by the hose bib. It appeared we would be dealing with a slab-leak. Snyders was very professional on the phone and extremely timely in responding. The plumber they sent out was very knowledgeable and able to resolve the issues of the water pressure in addition to taking care of some additional plumbing concerns the tenant had. The plumber saved us time and money. The only issue we would report is that we asked for a phone call prior to them starting the actual repairs but the repairs were done before we were notified. Given that they saved us money w/ the thoroughness of their job we really cannot complain!!

I contacted them to do two things and one which they never did. The other was to open my drains up and we did a job on that. This was my fault, but I had a bad kitchen sink. I told him to replace it with whatever he had on the truck and it was pretty expensive $25. That was a big mistake. I also had him help me locate a clean out and strangely enough I was able to locate the clean out from talking to a friend. I wanted the clean out replaced and after several call backs he just stop calling back to come out. I was real nice with the actual plumber guy. It was too late in the afternoon the first day to get started, then he had to get the saw to come do it. The next day he called and asked me if he could take his kid to the park and I said certainly enjoy yourself. He then just stopped calling. Secondly, my son had to tighten the faucet down, so that was two negatives. He never finsished what we had contracted to do.

We have not had enough hot water since we moved into this house. Not very noticeable in summer, but not able to have a hot bath, or have 2 people shower one after the other. Winter came and I decided it was time to fix it. I replaced the thermostats and elements myself, and checked the adjustment on bath and shower faucets, which were for maximum hotness. But I still had lukewarm water. Eventually I gave up and checked Angie's List. Snyder Plumbing seemed incredible based on every single wonderful report. I called and spoke to Tony, explained the situation. He said 90.00 for the first hour, minimum 1 hour, and he would be here in about 20 minutes. Based on the reports, I decided to pay the high rate for a highly recommended plumber who would be capable of giving me a decent hot water supply. He arrived and was rude and abrupt, and said he had another customer waiting. He quickly checked to see if power was going through to the elements (I presume that is what he checked), adjusted the thermostats (I had set them incorrectly), quickly ran his thermometer under the water and informed me that 95 or 98 degrees was enough for me. He refused to check the dip tube or anode, saying if the dip tube was broken I would need a new water heater, no explanation of why. He quickly whipped out his invoice book to get paid, and ran off. Leaving me with barely hotter water (lukewarm) than before he came. A few hours later he called back and asked about the water. If he had done what I asked, I guess he wouldnt have called back. i told him I still had little hot water and he said he would come back. I said I am not paying again. He said he wouldn't charge again. (yay - note the sarcasm). He came back, adjusted the thermostat a little higher, the temperature was now about 101-102. Still not enough for 1 complete hot shower - he said my expectation of scalding hot water/enough hot water for 2 showers/bath was unreasonable, his home water heater was not set as high as mine and what he set for me was enough. He refused to set it higher. He didn't even give me possible alternatives. I tried to ask about solar heating and recirculation - he said not to do either. Recirculation didnt work, solar heating was too expensive and wouldnt pay for itself. All he said was that the pipes were in the cold ground, but didn't offer a solution other than to throw in that plumbers had a workaround for that if they leaked (no explanation of how he may have known they were in the ground and not in the ceiling if he didnt check). Extremely disappointed in this kind of service, his rudeness, the expensive call (which I had no problem with had I got what I paid for), and of course the fact that I still don't have an adequate supply of hot water for me and my family. I have no doubt that any other plumber would have given better service than this, probably for less. Which makes me wonder about who actually writes these reports ..... I should have known better than to trust something that was and quot;perfectand quot;. Definately will not recommend this company ...

About 10? days later I called the owner of the company, Randy, and explained my dissatisfaction. He almost immediately came out to check. He changed the lower element which was faulty, but the water was the same. He came out again and changed both the thermostats - I think the bottom one wasnt working properly, and he just changed the top one to be sure. I still don't have as much hot water as I would like, but at least I understand his explanations as to why not. The water is heating up, just not all the way, which I don't quite understand - why shouldn't it heat all the water the same if it's set the same. Anyway, at least I can have a decent shower now. He said he had done just about everything he could do (other than putting in a bigger heater), but was prepared to come out again. I said it wasn't necessary, as I felt it was time to draw the line (he hadn't charged me any extra). If I need/want any work done in the future, I will definately get a quote from them - but I will only deal with Randy, and not any of his staff - certainly not Tony. My ratings reflect my first contact with them (Tony), and not my contact with the owner, Randy.

The plumber showed up at the time agreed, he went right to the problem with a minimum of introduction and after asking details of the problem. He brought all the tools he needed and only went to his truck to get replacement parts. He was very honest as stated earlier, and professional in his work. He cleaned up everything and went to his truck to prepare the bill, then brought it in. I wrote the check and he thanked me for calling his company then he left. I was very pleased with the experience.

I called Virginia, who answered the phone in a friendly and professional manner. She guided me through the steps to find the information on my old hot water heater that would expedite the replacement. She was sympathetic and, as I said, (but can't say enough about a person performing Customer Service) friendly. She said she'd have a man and a new hot water heater to me within the hour. Approximately a half hour later -- they were there. And a phone call from the serviceman, Tony, to let me know he was on the way before he got there. Amazing.

Tony arrived, asked me a couple of questions and proceeded to remove my old hot water heater. In about two hours my equipment was taken out, my new hot water heater was installed and the old one was no where in sight. I can only assume he loaded it into his truck. He was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed efficient. Excellent

I had a dealing with this company a couple years ago for a very minor repair but had forgotten about them until I spotted them on Angie's List. That experience was also pleasant and was replicated by this one. It was so minor, that it had retreated to the back of my memory until I used their service for this. Now, they are my Plumber of choice.

While he was here I asked for an estimate for another job I've been considering. Tony was happy to provide it and put it in writing on my receipt so his office and I would have the same information. Outstanding.

I called round midday and they were at my home by 3pm and work was completed within half an hour. The main sewer line was blocked so it was a pretty simple job that was fixed in no time. I don't know what the average cost plumbers charge for this type of service so wasn't sure if what I paid was too much or not. I would definitely hire them again and refer them to friends!

I called Snyder Plumbing at 8:30 in the morning the day before New Years Eve. They sent the plumber over within a half hour as promised. Once Eric got here he replaced the broken valve and piece of pipe and assessed the shower problem immediately. He called into the office and someone came and delivered the part within 20 minutes of his call. Eric was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. I was extremely grateful for the quick response, the accurate assessment of the problem and the quality of the work done. I will definitely use Snyder Plumbing again in the future.

The plumber arrived about 1/2 hour earlier than was promised. He worked with the Building Maint. Co. to find the water shutoff for the entire building. The Building Maint. Co had provided a 24 hour "water will be off" notice to all residents. The unit water shutoff valve was in the wall above the water heater. The plumber left his shoes outside, so he wouldn't track dirt on our carpet. The plumber neatly cut an access hole for the main valve, and saved the removed wallboard so the hole could be patched later. Two old style stem valves were replaced with new ball valves. This prevents the "broken stem" problem in the new valves. Some modification of the pipes was necessary to install the new main shutoff valve. The plumber fabricated the new parts, and installed both valves. He tested the new valves and joints by turning the Building water on. NO LEAKS. He wiped up a small puddle of water from the old valve removal, with towels he brought.
