Pat brought in a local construction company to do mold remediation. They uncovered one quarter of my house, removed the mold and water damage, added a vapor barrier and put my house back together in three days. Their work was excellent and their cost was lower than having a 4 x 8 section done last year by another company. Next Pat brought in an indoor air quality specialist. He did thermal imaging to ensure there was no water damage, then kept looking at every possible source of contaminates. He found fiber glass damage in the duct work and a break in my ac return. I say this because I had it checked twice before by two large local ac companies and no problems were found. Pat then hooked me up with a different ac company who did a good job at a reasonable price. Then the air quality was re-tested ensuring that the problems were solved.
I am happy, my wife has her healthy life back and could not be more pleased.
I found Pat to be direct, honest, and working in my best interest, and I would recommend his c9ompany without reservation
We have owned 4 houses many needing extensive work or upgrades over the last 25 years and have never experienced anyone as who took care of us the way Pat did. Just a great guy. To say he went over and above doesn't even come close to describing our experience.
Before we even told him he was hired he went to our house and put together a report that was 10x as good as the one we paid $500 for on our pre-purchase inspection. That report was a blue print for his work and the work of others that we hired to calk and seal the house especially the windows that were the biggest source of water coming in. Pat went so far as emailing me a pdf of the best calk to use for stucco and when our painter couldn't find it in Vero, Pat had it UPSed from another part of Florida. He won't ever stop short of doing the job right. He's resourcefull and thorough.
My wife was innitially on site with Pat’s crew that worked their tail off setting up a containment system of the entire house before the tear out which was carpet, drywall, and baseboards. Pat supervised, photographed and noted other problems some of which had to do with mold such as plumbing, but also problems with the electric he observed.
Pat was proactive on hiring a plumber to stop a leaking pipe behind a wall and just had that plumber invoice him as part of his job as well as other unforeseen expenses for which Pat bore the brunt of the expense.
Pat set us up with other contractors and managed ours since we were out of state for most of the project. So in effect he took over as the general contractor for our renovation! When they were done every surface of that house was spotless.
Unrelated to mold, Pat sent his super human “Weasel” into our burning hot attic to inspect the new A/C unit installed by a company we hired. The ductwork had been destroyed by rodents and the A/C company’s man had used tape which wasn’t going to hold as a band aid. We got 3 quotes to replace all the duct work and installation in the attic. At no additional charge, Pat helped us negotiate and sent a man to supervise the entire project. Pat’s man caught a major shortcut by the insulation company and Pat made them come back and remedy the problem. My wife and I never would have had a clue.
And so I’ll end there. If it wasn’t for finding Pat, we may have never solved our problems with this house. We are very grateful.
