We take great pride in our experience and expertise. Unlike some, I have a unique background of knowing all aspects of construction, both residential and commercial. Therefore, I can pinpoint the cause of the mold where others cannot. Treating the mold is not enough. It is necessary to find out what caused it so that the homeowner can prevent mold from growing again in the future. Many health issues can be related to mold in the environment in which you live. Sometimes a mold growth issue is not visually evident. This is why I have focused my business in Florida on mold air testing, assessment and detection. I can help you detect the mold and provide you with an expert opinion on what is needed to resolve the issue. Many times, the homeowner is able to treat the issue themselves avoiding additional expenses. If a mold remediation company is necessary, it is a best practice to have a 3rd party to do an air test and inspection afterwards to ensure that the mold is gone.

This was a big job, with mold growing between my roof and ceiling unknown to me for the past 30 years. The ceilings all had to come down, with attendant dust and dirt. Very little damage was done to decor and that was repaired satisfactorily.

I would definately recommend this company to others. They were very professional and consciencious in taking care of my home. They explained everything and did as they said. Jim and his crew were professional and efficient, good to work with and extremely helpful. When another problem surfaced, a crew member went out of his way to fix the problem (replace a faucet) and even pick up the item at the store. The crew was good to work with, went the extra mile in several ways, and I completely trusted them in my home. I would recommend Illinois Home Solutions to anyone.

I/2 Down was required before work was started. Payment was demanded on the completion(same day) of work. Not even knowing if work was satisfied. Threatened to "start proceedings" the day after work was done They were going to send the secretary 75 miles to collect the check. Never encountered a company that did business in this manner and rudeness. PLUS they never returned keys to house and let themselves in with same key and did not notify owner or project manager who was working with them.

Jim responded quickly to assess my situation and was professional and helpful. His crew did what was asked to demolish my basement which had flooded due to tree roots in the sewer lines and then treat for mold. The price fit my budget and I was pleased with their work. Now I can sleep at night instead of worrying about mold. I certainly would recommend this company.

They were terrific...I started with the house I currently live in and they came the day after I called to inspect the house. They made a special trip to my town to do the inspection. Their estimate was almost half of what another company quoted us. Then I thought my other house it might have mold also so Jim inspected that one the next day and gave me a deal I couldn't pass up on both house (less than the other company's quote on my 1st house) and fit the old house in right away to have it done before I had an Open House this Sunday. I really appreciated how prompt they were. Thank you!!!

We loved the work this contractor did for us. We spoke to several contractors before hiring Illinois Home Solutions. Many of them told us our vision could not come true. Jim saw the space as we wanted it to be and provided great recommendations of how to transform it. Jim was very professional and prompt with explaining what to expect. The contract was signed that afternoon and was scheduled. Due to the Tornado in Washington I called Sam and delayed it to begin in early January. I was very please with his crew. They explained every detail of what they were doing and always left it cleaning up everything before leaving for the day. Jason, Mike, Will, Rob and Andrew were very pleasant and always professional. The owner, Jim, responded quickly to my request, contacting me by phone. He stopped to look at my house at my convenience. My situation was such that Jim explained clearly to me what I could do for remediation and that I really didn't need their remediation services. Jim and Sam always took the time to explain everything to me and always explained things in a way I could understand. Jim was quick to respond, very informative, thorough and professional. Removing the mold issue in the basement was the determining factor of buying this house.
