We are professional auctioneers and Realtors. Are services include help in getting real estate sold quickly by auctions and other non conventional means. My name is Neal Van De Ree. I own and operate The Van De Ree Auction Company, located at 710 Laguna Drive, Venice, Florida (34285). My father handed over the gavel to me in 1985. He had been selling by auction since 1934. I have worked in this field and family business my entire professional life and I am proud to have grown up in this business, learning from my father and from many of the great Auctioneers from around the world. I am a CAI graduate from Indiana University and my bachelors degree is in speech communications from the University of Florida. I have attended Law School at the University of Miami, but I am not an attorney. I have also attended the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in North Carolina. I have served as President of the Florida Auctioneers Association and as Chairman of the Florida Association of Realtors Auction Marketing Council. My company has conducted auctions throughout the US as well as internationally and we excel at real estate auctions regardless of where the property is located. As a father of 7 and an auctioneer located in Florida, you will find many of our successes have been in the South Eastern USA. As we became specialists in the sale of real estate by auction, we found that rather than becoming more diverse in the many fields of real estate and offering a variety of services that it is more rewarding and important to focus on doing one thing -- the auction method of marketing. Typically, The Van De Ree Auction Company successfully closes 90% of the properties that are brought to auction. We are not in business for a quantity of sales, but a quality of Auction Service, and it is our reputation that we value over commissions.
