This company is top notch. They provide excellent customer service from the time they come to give you a quote until the time they have completed the work. We were 100% satisfied. They did a beautiful job on our trees, did an excellent job of cleanup and did a follow-up to be sure that we were satisfied. They come highly recommended.

It went very well. They were very neat and very careful. They finished ontime. Everything went fine.

Steve came out for an estimate at the appointed time. After explaining what we wanted done, Steve estimated that it would take 3 1/2 hours. The price was right after he gave a 10% discount for a second service call. As with the first job this company did, everything was perfect when they finished. The trees were shaped beautifully and a safe distance from the roof. Cleanup was just as good as with the first job with hardly a leaf left over from the work that was done.

Outstanding! Pricey, but worth it. Did a fantastic job on the trees and clean up was perfect. Highly recommend.

Amazing! We were removing the trees because the oldest one was a threat to our house. There was a fork in the trunk approximately 6 feet off the ground and part of the tree was extending over our home. We could have cut that portion of the tree off but Steve told us that if we did we would shock the tree so much that he would be back in 1-2 years to cut the rest of it down. And actually with it being a Laurel Oak, it was really older than their usual lifetime. He was very sympathetic to my loss of my beautiful tree and helped me see that this was the best solution. His entire crew was very professional. We also removed a smaller tree because it had been dwarfed by the larger one and would not survive the way it had grown. I have nothing but praise for him and his crew and should my friends or family need his type of service, I would not hesitate to recommend him and the company.

Overall a great experience. The crew they sent out was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I will be hiring them again.

They give a very detailed proposal explaining exactly what will be done to each tree. They are staffed by certified arborists who know how to make a tree a tree. They know how to trim for the health of the tree and to make the tree beautiful. They have climbing arborists and ground arborists. They do such fine work. They are hard workers, a crew of 6 people were at my home for the entire day to get the job done. They do a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards.

I called Gulf Coast tree sevice after receiving an estimate from another company. The estimator came out promptly at the time specified and explained exactly how it would be done. The price was several hundred dollars below the previous estimate. We signed the contract and a date was set for the job. The crew showed up on time and immediately went to work. They did exactly as the job was explained and were very professional. To say that they met expectations would be an under statement. They exceeded expectations and when the clean-up was finished there didn't seem to be even a leaf left of the tree. This job was more difficult in that the tree was located behind the house and heavy equipment could not be used to haul out the large pieces of the trunk. They had to use a hand truck to get them to the driveway to be lifted by the crane. I would not hesitate to recommend Gulf Coast Tree Care, Inc. for tree service.

Steve Kale from Gulf Coast came out and gave me a quote. He explained what his crew would be doing and why. He even left me with a detailed, printed estimate which clearly outlined what services were to be performed. I was impressed with the proof of insurance binder page that Steve provided at the time of my quote. I shopped around and could have had the work done cheaper, but would not have had insured, professional people and certified arborists on the job! I found that many companies have chain saws, trucks and workers,and are willing to cut but VERY FEW have certified arborists who work with professionally trained tree trimmers who are skilled, licensed and insured. I have used Gulf Coast in the past and I used to get other estimates, but I realize after three jobs with Gulf Coast and comments from others clients of Gulf Coast that you won't find a better crew for your tree care! After the services were performed, Steve came to us to see if we were satisfied before he would accept payment! When I went outside to review the work, if the trees were not gone, I never would have known they were even on the property!

The process went well. Gulf Coast was not the lowest bidder for the project but certainly the most professional. The team showed up on the date promised, showed up ready to work, and met our needs. They cleaned up after themselves and we were very happy with the results.

OMG -- this guy was fantastic! He didn't think he could clean off the roof, but his workers went above and beyond and cleaned up all the needles and dust left behind from the roof as well as the site. The first day the tree was removed, cut neatly and stacked on the side yard. The next day the stump was ground and all remaining debris and tree fragments removed. You'd never know the tree had been there, nor the workers -- no gouges from the truck or remnants of any kind. The yard looks fabulous! The previous tree had been removed by another company that had constant problems coming to work due to issues with vehicles and workers, then left gaping holes in our lawn both from tree removal and damage from their vehicles. Not GULF COAST -- Fabulous, look no further, just use them. We thought the estimate a bit high, but we got our money's worth and then some!

Gulf Coast removed all of the broken limbs, properly trimmed the grand oak, and removed the majority of the overgrowing moss. The crew was very professional, very experienced and it looked like a whole new tree in the front, and it was nice to not see a destroyed tree in the back. They cleaned up everything, asked me to come and inspect the job to make sure I was happy before they left and it was a wonderful job!!

They came out when they said they would and trimmed all our palm trees. The foreman came to our door and asked me to come outside to inspect their work. As usual, they did a great job. Our palms are very healthy and happy since we've been using Gulf Coast Tree Service to care for our trees.

Very well. Steve and his crew showed up right on time. The work done was very good and when finished there wasn't one twig left behind to clean up. The person who did the tree stump griding did leave a bit of a mess which we had to clean up. The work took about five hours total.

The boss came out one day to get an idea of the job. When we decided to go with his lower bid ($790 vs. $1500), he scheduled a three man crew, headed by an arborist, to come out a couple of days later to do the work. The trio worked well together, and were pleasant to deal with. They answered all our questions without any problem. They were done in about three hours.

Steve came out and surveyed the palms on our property and diagnosed one in particular that was close to dead. The next week, the crew came out to remove the dead palm and grind the stump. As well, the team trimmed existing palms beautifully and an arborist injected the other palms that were susceptible to disease. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and on time. They took the time to explain what they were doing and why. In addition, they worked with me on price a little. They also gave recommendations about what type of palm tree to replace the dead one with.

Very good. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. Plan to have them back when I need more tree work done. Would recommend.

The project went very well. My expectations were very high based on prior Angies List reports, and I was not disappointed. The arborist impressed me at the initial meeting. He was very knowledgeable and professional. On the day that the work was to be done, the crew leader introduced me to all the crew members. They were very careful during their work, preventing damage to the house (from falling tree limbs) and the landscaping (from the equipment). Although this initial service was required by our insurance company, I plan to have these guys come back every few years to help me keep my trees healthy and safe.

They did great, they trimmed branches they could legally do off the neighbors tree that were hanging over my roof. They did a great job,were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished.

Phil was prompt in arriving for the estimate appointment and evaluated all my trees as to what each should receive for health and appearance. Gave me various options from which to choose. He was able to schedule the work two days later. The work was completed on schedule. All work was performed as agreed upon and all debris was removed. Outstanding job across the board.

My experience with them was good. They provided an estimate. They came out and did the work. After the job was done it was what they estimated. They followed up and made sure everything was how I wanted it.

Gulf Coast was very prompt in responding and sending an arborist to look at my trees and give me an estimate. While the work was in progress, I expressed concern about the possible danger posed by a live oak which has grown over my house and Steve came out to look at the tree again. Every aspect of work done by this company, from the careful survey of my trees by Phil to the clean up afterwards was handled in a very professional manner. The work was done carefully and safely and to my complete satisfaction.

It should be noted that I have done business with this company before, and have given them a great review in the past. As a result of that initial experience, I now have Gulf Coast by on an annual basis to check the trees on my property. Having had a tree come down on my property once already (before I ever began working with Gulf Coast), I know firsthand the value of keeping large oaks pruned, and in some cases, reinforced with cabling, and it was with this background that I made the decision to strengthen one of 2 prominent oaks that is both in front and in close proximity of my house. As with previous work this company has done with me, Steve comes by, does an extensive evaluation, explains what he sees and what he recommends in clear detail, and after this, goes back to his truck, and within 5 minutes, has a typed proposal ready, along with proof of liability insurance, and general information about the company. Nothing handwritten, which is a nice touch. It should be noted that on this job, both Steve initially, and then Darin at a later point in time, who are both certified arborists, independently evaluated the tree. As a rule, they won't recommend cabling of any tree they feel is in imminent danger of coming down, and Steve wanted to be sure that he had Darin's perspective on this as well. After both determined my tree was a good candidate, they required that I get a hold harmless agreement signed and notarized. This form is essentially to confirm my understanding that while the cabling will reinforce the tree, it is no guarantee the tree can't still come down due to an act of God. Due to an unplanned sickness of the climber on the job, I received advanced notice that a job that was scheduled for Saturday, needed to be postponed. To my surprise, these guys offered to work the very next day on a Sunday morning. They showed up around 9 AM, were done just after noon, were quiet, neat and as expected with this company, courteous. I will continue using this company's services for years to come.

Company rep came out at my convenience and explained cause of death of tree and provided company's license and policies along with a written estimate. These people worked with me well on scheduling and I chose them over cheaper companies because they had there act together. A 'Steve' supervised the work and was very cooperative and forthcoming with answering questions. Done in less than 3 hours due to crane. Very professional outfit. I will use them again.
